But some of his kinsmen together with their allies in SE (basking in their newly formed SS/SE alliance) has been referring to northerners as parasites ![]() |
arkreality: I dont blame you, your level of thinking and comprehension is still very low. I better be a 'yeye' graduate, than be an illiterate jobless tout like you. Dont even bring in Education stuff here cos you are still upto 8-9yrs behind me.Wish you all the best in your hallucinating mood, you're boasting to someone you don't even know, yeye dey smell ![]() |
arkreality: You are right dear, cheating is not tribe BUT the difference with the yoruba men is that they do theirs with pride. An Igbo man having marital affair will do everything to hide it from his wife, knowing the consequences when it becomes public, because it won't be acceptable from both wife and his immediate family. But a yoruba does his with pride and even parade the children he got from those extra marital affair. The stories we hear from Yoruba Actresses and politicians says it all. I did my NYSC service in Owo Town Ondo State and was a teacher, in the class you'll see several students bearing same surname but when I ask they'll say they are from same father but different mother and yet they don't live together. So some people are better because they know how to hide their extra marital affairs? and you've finished your NYSC which means you're a graduate? na yeye graduate you be ![]() |

Yeye dey smell who is Kasamu? When the time comes SW will vote for leaders they believe will guide their interest. One thing I'm sure of is that PDP is dead and buried in SW, while APC may not be the very best they are still far ahead of PDP. It is even easier for APC to lose to smaller parties like Accord in Oyo or LP than to PDP. |
It's all about me me me me and me only, stupid and unrepentant clannish old man. |
fruityjojo: Yeaa reminds me of nelson & Sister. This life get as e be! Mothers should always watch their gals expecially at dat formative stage, to protect dem from so called male family frnds. Always educate ur gals! D earlier u tell dem where no1 should touch dem d better! Let dem know dey can come 2 you if ANYONE touch dem there or ask dem into their rooms. It happens a trillion times to lil gals all around d world everyday. You're right babe, too many perverts everywhere. |
It's a way by which corrupt civil servants and politicians launder their ill gotten wealth, as for the revolution you mentioned, babe you're on long thing on that because Nigerians are not ready for such, they'll rather fight among themselves about who is Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, etc. |
That's why I always says that I'll rather trust the devil himself rather than the Nigerian Police. |
torhuke: If GEJ and his cabinet is the Definition of Daftness, OH lord my GOD make me as daft as all of them this 2014.And so shall it be for you, amin ase. |
adconline: There is nothing smart about these "businessmen". They are money laundry conduits used by politickricians to milk the county dry. Show me these businessmen who built their businesses like strive masiyiwa, founder of Econet Wireless or Mo Ibrahim, founder of Celtel.Thumb up for you! |
bjdon: The progress of blacks in the UK and US can't be compared on a like for like basis. Blacks have been in the US in large numbers for over 250 years. Since the end of the American civil war, the blacks in the North were more or less free to get an education and pursue their dreams. In the UK large scale black migration did not start till the 1950's and this was mainly from the West Indies. The vast majority of these migrants were blue collar working class with very little aspiration/ambition for themselves or their offspring. The professional black middle class in the UK has only really come into effect in the last 30 years and it mainly consists of those of African origin. I predict that a generation from now you'll see blacks in the UK occupying top positions in business and politics as it is the US today.Very intelligent comment apparently from someone who has either been to or study both countries not some folks who just rely on what their yeye friends and family members told them. Their is racism everywhere, in fact in Nigeria though we're all blacks but our tribal bigotry is only second to that of tutsis and hutus in Rwanda. |
How is the toothless National conference going to solve Nigeria's problems? These Afenifebi lots are clutching to it as a drowning man would clutch to a straw, yeye dey smell. |
COCCI: The truth Dogs like every other animals are highly territorial animals and again some breed of dogs like the Boxer,Rottweiler, mastiffs etc still have a wild side that is genetical and cannot be completely tamed by most people, thus owners of such dogs need extra care, in order to always check their behavioural pattern...Your analysis is spot on, in a nutshell keeping dogs is not for everyone. |
martha: Something similar happened at Ikoyi. A rottweiler ate d left leg of d owner's son cos it was hungry.... D lil'boy was flew to India for surgery and his leg ended up being amputated... D man shot d dog with his own gun...Medicine after death, the leg is gone forever. |
I don't know why some people need these wild and big dogs, they are not even cheap to maintain. It's even worse here in the UK, many times you hear stories of dogs killing or attacking people yet many still won't stop keeping them. I've seen some dogs that are so big you'll think they are tiger, I still can't get my head round why people need such dogs. |
Retuning the bride price to the groom or groom's family is not a Yoruba culture, it's an individual decision. |
ilugunboy: This is about the daftest post I've ever come across on Nairaland this year....very ridiculous to say the least, I never knew an individual could be so abysmally daft. |
Magic Bishop: most of us have given hope for osun under rauf odenni. anything new out of there especially from the state house is a joke!Barking is you own way of responding to stimuli, who let this dog out? |
Wislet: WHEN YOU OBSERVE HOW PEOPLE POST ON NAIRALAND, YOU WILL REALISE THAT 'COMMON SENSE' IS NOT SO COMMON.Exactly! I don't know what is hard in this interview to understand or may be some posters just want to be mischievous, yeye people. |
We have read the letter and there is no part of the letter that talks about the problems facing the country. So how does it affect Nigerians?
Don't mind him, he should go and read where Iyabo mentioned people like him in the letter as people who usually fight tooth and nail to maintain the status quo. |
@OP She wrote the letter and so what? How does that address the issues raised in the OBJ'S letter? What is our business with how OBJ run his family? |
She definitely wrote the letter as she is yet to deny it, I'm no fan of OBJ anyway but that's their family issue na dem sabi. This will be a lesson to all that it is always important to make your family first, OBJ despite all his travails and the grace he received to come back to become the president refuses to look back and amend his ways. He took the grace of God for granted rather he see himself as invincible, the contents of the letter could only have been written by someone who knows OBJ very well as everything in it mirrors his person, it may not be too late for him to humble himself and repent otherwise his end may be worse. One important part of the letter which many have not noticed or probably ignored is her indictment of Nigerians as people who are not ready for change, a country where its leaders only serve their pockets while the citizens hail them and urge them to carry on. Instead for Nigerians to come together and demand for good governance they are busy fighting tribal war among themselves, the next generation of Nigerians will surely question the youths of today for folding their arms while Nigeria is being ruined or even for participating in ruining it. |
What a shame! If the legislators that supposed to put the governor in check are now the one kneeling in front of him like pupils being admonished just because of chop chop is there any hope then for a common man in Nigeria? This is very shameful both to those kneeling than and to the self acclaimed 'emperor', only God know if Nigerian can ever retain its past glory as long as these leeches are still in power. |
BTW the mod that hide my earlier post must be sick in the head and most likely a compromised mod because there's nothing against the rule in that post. |
mapet: You guys av just wasted time, bandwidth space and near sanity on the forum. Someone opened his mouth and said GEJ is his mentor, and you engage that kind of person in discussion of any sort? Instead of calling Yaba left to ascertain the completeness of their patients head count.LWKMD ![]() |
