PoliticsRe: Our Next Ig Should Be A Foreigner by gaddafe(m): 9:22pm On Jan 21, 2012
Ivynwa:
There is absolutely nothing a foreign IG can do to solve the problem we have, it's like recruiting a foreigner to fight Gangsterism when it is the persons in the country that knows who the real gangstas are---so tell me what can a foreigner do? Ask you to point out the Boko boyz for him? Mtcheeeew undecided undecided

Absolute waste of money, foreigners can be consulted on the mode of fighting down the menace but not decorating them with the high office of an IG and wasting resources to make them happy while we all can hardly benefit a dime from the resources that we have. They can bring in some crime detectives into the country to assist, I think that we need the advanced technology used in gathering info over crime at this point but make a foreigner an IG----nah, nah, nah!
Gbam!!
Come to think of it, foreigners are even also corrupt. In some cases even more than Nigerians. I will give an example here. There was a time a foreigner was made to head the accounting dept in bursary section UNIBEN. It was later found that she was deducting a specific amount of money from the salaries of workers illegally. This later led to her sack.

My point is this: we have good foreigners and bad foreigners. We have good Nigerians and bad Nigerians. Unfortunatelty the bad Nigerians are selected in high ranks in the police force.

PoliticsRe: Revealed-how Police Commissioner Zakari Biu Aided Escape Of Boko Haram Suspect by gaddafe(m): 10:07pm On Jan 19, 2012
A CP that was suspended during OBJ's regime came back to the force, how? When you suspend an officer, chances are he might be recalled when the heat cools down.

Lets  not mix words, in as much as i respect GEJ, he is incompetent when it comes to security matters. Only diverting and siphoning the economy's money that he knows. The big question is who allowed that CP back into the force? Ans = Boko Haram Sponsors

Even a fool knows the actions that is expected of the executive. But our lovely president don't know what to do. He is clueless.

What is Hafiz Ringim still doing in the force?

ComputersRe: Nigcomsat-1R:please Educate Us On Benefits by gaddafe(m): 1:16pm On Jan 19, 2012
I thought as much. After all this while no one could answer. @op there are a lot of benefit to Nig like u have stated above in your post all its uses and function. But i guess your question is what benefit is there to the common man? Well the painful answer is none. Forget what those rubbish IT expert paid by the govt try to explain. There is no single benefit to the ordinary Nigerian. The benefit will be reflected in the country's  annual GDPA.  More source of income to the country. So if we have good leaders perhaps the ordinary man will see the benefit but if  not, pls just remove your mind.
One physical effect is that when you receive a text message on your phone the number start with 234, with NIGCOMSAT1R the number 234 will be eliminated. That is if the network provider uses NIGCOMSAT1R. There are other  minor effects you will see when it kick start.
PoliticsRe: Late-night Court Order Restores Jonathan's Candidate In Bayelsa Guber Election by gaddafe(m): 12:04pm On Jan 19, 2012
This is why i laugh at people saying judiciary is the last hope of the common man. How  many common man can even afford a lawyer to start with. And the fact that people fail to realise that when we say govt is filled with corrupt officials the judiciary are not excluded. Just imagine the scenero above. If i am a common man how do u expect me to trust such a judge if he is presiding over my case.
PoliticsRe: Tell Me Why I Should Trust In Nlc/tuc Strike Again? by gaddafe(m): 3:10pm On Jan 18, 2012
@op am so surprised to see such a thread. And to even know that you are married. That means u are not a kid and must have experienced previous protests led by labour. By your judgement is there any protest previously led by labour that there is no exchange of ghana-must-go? If after their previous record u could still join them in the protest, it means you will always join them in any protest they call for. You are only hurting because this one is fresh. After a while you will forget. Ehn SORRY!

Na today we know say corruption dey NLC. The federal is even ok. The state is the worst.

PoliticsRe: Those Calling For Regime Change Would Face Treason Charges – Police! by gaddafe(m): 6:51pm On Jan 17, 2012
Lets get one thing straight, the protest was not suppose to be about regime change so any one involve in such act has commited treason and should face the law.

madprof:
Is the president's open admission of the presence of Boko Haram in his administration not tantamount to treasonable felony? GEJ should be impeached & tried for that statement alone, before any other person is charged.
Why don't you hire a lawyer and charge him for the statement.

PoliticsRe: Describe Labour (NLC) And Tuc In One Word by gaddafe(m): 7:33am On Jan 17, 2012
ebosed:
Fellow Citizens,

Lets neglect comments of our beloved brothers and sisters from the east and south south- Their comments is a type of corruption in itself called nepotism - i.e. giving unmerited favour to your kinsman at ALL COST when he least deserves it. OBJ did not win election even in his ward in south west in 1999 but we delivered the west to Jonathan in 2011. We are civilized people without sentiment. We protested against some people called cabals to make sure Jonathan was confirmed acting president. No sentiment

Where was SS/SE when we protested against the CABALs who failed to make Jonathan the substantive acting president when Yar adua was sick? Did they join in the protest? No. Where were they when we protested against Abacha and IBB? Where were they when we protested against OBJ on fuel subsidy led by Oshiomole? Where were they when we protested against the annulment of June 12 election. Where were they when The Ganis, Kutis, Falanas, alfreds, faseuns, Adesanyas e.tc were laying their lives to make Our President beneficiary of the struggles he knows little about. The history of civil protest in Nigeria has also been without them because they are educationally disadvantage, they cannot protest for or against what they don't even understand.

Jonathan came to Lagos and danced before us like a beggar pleading for our votes, he danced to the same music we played at Gani-Fawehinmi park we trusted him and voted him, even OBJ did not get that kind of support. Now we did the same thing and people who now claim to be his brother are angry, Jona himself is angry. Why are you angry? What kind of people would call a fellow man Monkey? We understand the average psyche of anyone from the east, you got admitted to our universities with 5 ordinary passes because we recognised you are educational disadvantage and we don't expect much sense from you.

If you can relate well with your environment, you would agree that the protest was avoidable, if Our President (Not Ijaw or Ibo President) respect the constitution he swore to uphold. The National Assemble - Who were the representative of the people convened on an usual day -Sunday- and spoke with one voice that he should revert back to 65 Naira. But he declined. When the President violate the principle of democracy and disrespect the peoples reepresentatives he gets what he deserves-Peaceful protest.Respect is reciprocal.

Should a man who lives on the bank of the river wash his hand with spittle? - An Ibo Proverb
Should a man bite the finger that fed him? An Ibo Proverbs
Is it not greed that makes an hunter who killed an elephant to still want to hunt for rats on his way home?

While I agree that it is never right to Kill another man for any reason like the Boko-Haram sect, It is the act of oppression through military force like the ones deployed to forestall peaceful protest in Gani Fawehinmi Park that might have been responsible for the creation of such sect. Your sect in south south (Kidnappers) and SE (otokoto) was the result of similar neglect. Yar-Adua was responsible enough to listen to you, bring you out of the creeks and send you to school so that you behave like responsible people. Because he listened he even appointed - Jonathan as his running mate. Let Our President - Not Ijaw or SS or SE President listen to us and we would have a better Nigeria.
Your sense is on your feet. You are walking on your senses. In your mind you have spoken well. All your damned analysis are wrong. I don't even know where to start from. You said the history of civil protest has always been without the SS. Yet you mentioned Oshiomhole leading a protest. I ask you which region is he from?
The members of assembly that first started the move that GEJ be  made acting president, where are they from? I can go on and on your write up is filled with lies and rubbish. If you don't have better things to do i suggest you start sukin your thumb.

Infact  N97 is ok. Let the strike be called off so that the nation can move forward.
There was no way the FG would pay N1.3 trillion for subsidy. Let's be realistic and not send people to their untimely grave.
NYSCRe: Should NYSC Be Scrapped? What's Your Take On NYSC? by gaddafe(m): 8:14pm On Jan 15, 2012
Its a shame if anybody that has served is here sayin it should be scraped. Whether you like it or not ''that allowee na something oh''.
It a known fact that the scheme should be reformed not scrapped.
It should either be turned to :
1. Full military training or
2. Every corper serving in his/her geographical region or
3. The students should be paid the full money for the total one year allowance once they graduate in order to help the student establish a business.

There are other alternatives if the govt is ready for a nice reform. But for anyone to say it should be scrapped would not be fair to incoming graduate.

EducationRe: At What Age Did U Graduate From Secondary School? by gaddafe(m): 9:56pm On Jan 14, 2012
Education System in Nig has been bastardised if not how can someone leave sec sch at age 13.
Curriculum designers design it in a way that every class is so important that u do not need to miss any.
In developed countries u dare not skip a class.
Educationist do not believe there is anything as genius. We have exceptional kids, such can learn with normal student and if need be the child might finish a term faster than other kids. You do not skip a class simply because the child is intelligent.
These same kids the parents claim to be genius when they get to uni, do they skip level? The ans is no. Even if their GPA is 5.0 in a particular level. This is because the tertiary sys is still intact.
I forsee a situation that if this trend is not stoped now it will creep to the tertiary institution.
THE MINIMUM AGE TO LEAVE SEC SCH IS 15

He debunked assertions that members of the National Assembly were earning millions of naira as salaries monthly, noting that the entire package was not more than N435,000.
N435,000 indeed! The other day a member confirmed it was nine hundred and something thousand, now this. Why are these people lying about their pay? Do they think Nigerians are fools?

Why the sudden confession? Was the church in madalla bombed yesterday? If this confession had came earlier, perhaps the mass movement of northerners from the south and the killing of some hausas yesterday in benin would have been avoided. I smell a rat here. Something is not adding up. Did BH not claim responsibility for the attack? Why the sudden change of confession?
