EducationRe: Ss3 Student Opts For Pidgin At Oyo Assembly Probe by gaddafe(m): 11:10am On Feb 16, 2012
Why should a teacher beat up a student in the first place. What right is he(the teacher) given in the constitution of Nigeria to humiliate a student up till the extent of degrading him as to strip of in public. A 20 years old student for that matter.
I actually think the teacher got what he deserved, only that the father misused the power vested on him by the authority.

wait till the banks demand payment on the huge debt he has given the state grin
its actually easy to check the state debt for those who bother to find out and not bury their heads in the sand thinking debtors will forget the 50b debt.
I'ii pretend i didn't see this. And i'ii take it that a 7years old kid wrote this jagons on NL.

Food for thought: if i lend a sum of money to open a business or i lend the same sum of money to drink beer,  which one is better?

Anyway this thread was actually created so that pdp can console themselves.

freecocoa:
Most times guys "toasted" by ladies end up not taking her serious, they tend to think she is cheap.

If you think I'm wrong, ask around.
Dem say, dem say. Have you tried it once?
When i was serving i knew a female corper who toasted one male corper. They started dating. A year after our service, the male corper asked the female corper for marriage, she refused. The reason was because she had someone else, but my guy been ready.

I even know of a prominent MOG whose wife toasted him before they eventually got married. You will even know him if i mention his name here.
EducationRe: Private Schools Vs Government Schools In Nigeria by gaddafe(m): 7:54am On Feb 11, 2012
In Nig we run a 9-3-4 educational system. It used to be 6-3-3-4. Infact i think the govt is confused.

Well if one is to look at which is best, you gonna have to look at it from the primary, secondary and tertiary level.
In primary education, private is the best in all ramitification. There is no basis for comparison on this level.

In the secondary education; manpower goes to the govt while infrastructure goes to the private. There is actually no pressure on the part of govt schools to ensure the student are well taught. The result of this is that while there are qualified teachers in the public schools, student massively fail their final exams (SSCE). Because of this, many students will move to the private schools to enrol and due to the pressure on them to deliver, they engage in various forms of malpractice.

In the tertiary institution; infrastructure goes to the govt. They have equal level of manpower. Inshort in some private Uni, some department can have only one student. However students are better taught in private than public in the tertiary level.
FamilyRe: Will You Buy A Toy Gun For Your Child? by gaddafe(m): 9:10pm On Feb 08, 2012
All of you saying no no no. Would your son not be in any social gathering such as the school; where you have no knowledge of whats actually going on. The bottom line is understand your kids and always gist with them. As an educational psychologist i can tell you that it is bad and can sometimes become dangerous for you prevent your kids from something they derive pleasure in.

Personally as a kid growing up i love toy guns. As i sit here typing, i have a live and real Ak45 under my bed.
Of all the kids that grew up with me and played with toy guns, i'm the only one that still have interest  in real guns. Based on my personal experience in life.

If you found out your kid loves toy guns, how would you stop him? What you love is what you love. If the kid finds out you object to him playing with toy guns, he might still continue playing with it without your knowledge. Do not forget that most of the things a kid learns it picks from it's peers.
PoliticsRe: Nuhu Ribadu's Response to GEJ's call by gaddafe(m): 7:42pm On Feb 08, 2012
Lets call a spade, a spade. How do you expect the public to see someone working for a govt he vehemently criticised?

Now this is why i love GEJ. He keeps appointing people with proven integrity. I just hope Nuhu Ribadu has not Fu, c ked himself up by receiving this appointment.
PoliticsRe: Will You Vote For Gej In 2015? by gaddafe(m): 9:29pm On Feb 07, 2012
Depending on the candidates contesting against him. The problem with Nig is not GEJ, pls we should know this.
It is the structure.

The delegates did well quite alright. But then if u ask me i'll say Mugabe should thread with caution. I personally believe the colonisation has started. Only that its in phases.
If Mugabe is not careful they might kill him! Yes they are that determined.

All those who replied the poster have wasted their time typin. I've met people like this. Even if you spend the whole day preaching and he sees u re making sense, to him you have only won the argument not his heart. So why not leave them and let them keep living in deceit.
When God decides to touch their hearts, they will realise how foolish they had been

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do So Many Nigerians Dislike Rich Pastors? by gaddafe(m): 7:41am On Jan 25, 2012
@habiolah
Mention one apostle of Christ that became extraordinary wealthy through preaching. Maybe i missed that part when reading my bible.

Also mention one or any apostle that converted the money for the church (tithe and offering) for his own personal gain. Of course you know if such people existed most of us wouldn't have given the bible a second look not to talk of being born again.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do So Many Nigerians Dislike Rich Pastors? by gaddafe(m): 12:08am On Jan 25, 2012
@habiolah
People are not against rich pastors but their source of wealth. The bible made it clear that the ministry should not be a way in enriching oneself. The funds in the ministry exists so that there will not be hunger in the house of God. If a pastor should get his wealth through other source, then its okay. But through preaching or performing miracles, is totally wrong. This might not look fair but thats how the bible wants it and any body that's not ok with the arrangement can as well forget about the work of God.

There was an instance when Peter rebuked a repented magician for asking him to give him the power of the holy ghost so he becomes wealthy.

Pls Note:
When the Holy Ghost sends you on a mission he provides the necessary tools needed for you. Money, cars etc. It will never ask you to start soliciting for funds here and there. No! That not God's calling, it's you calling yourself.
Pls just try and read about the life of the Late Arc Bishop Benson Idahosa. He never begged for a penny from anybody. On several occasion, he was given private jets and he sold them and used the money to move the ministry forward. He never needed any bodyguard or soldier to guard him beacause the words that emanated from his mouth was power. I can go on and on. But i will stop here, lots of christians in general have lost their brains to being sentimental.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do So Many Nigerians Dislike Rich Pastors? by gaddafe(m): 8:56pm On Jan 24, 2012
No need commenting on the issue. With the posts i've read, its quite clear that many people's sentiments have becloud their judgement. Even if Jesus christ should come down and tell some of these people's that their stand is not correct, they will probably call him the devil.

The reason many people will go to hell is because they fail to reason.
PoliticsRe: Who Is Your Best Nigeria President Ever? by gaddafe(m): 8:52pm On Jan 24, 2012
Murtala R. Mohammed, he was a great ruler but he didn't even rule up to a year before he was assasignated. Buhari/ Idiagbon this is one of the best regime Nig will ever get in its life time. Abacha, whether you like it or not he was also a leader that had vision. But WTF i give it to OBJ. Don't ask me why. The reasons are enormous. I can't start listing. His democratic admin was the best though.
EducationRe: We Wont Call Off Strike Until Our Demands Are Met - ASUU President by gaddafe(m): 6:23pm On Jan 22, 2012
@ bid4 I will take it that you are confused. Is ASUU the only organisation in Nig that is poorly funded? If every organisation decide to toll the path of ASUU because of poor funding, you can begin to imagine how the country will be.

The police force, doctors, Various ministries etc all complain of poor funding. Must you kill the mases in the name of a selfish struggle? Look quote me on this ''various money come from the FG from time to time that no one get to hear of''. We all passed thru this institution and we know that 90% of the lecturers are corrupt. But do you hear anybody talking of this? No! All we hear is they need fund for this and that.
The schools are dilapidated, when funds are sent from the FG, the money is shared between the high ranking staff (vc, bursar, etc)

Students should rise up and criticise ASUU for being insensitive to the plight of the student.
