jnyuwa02:Hello sir. You just added the word "exclusive" now. I responded based on your statement which you have slightly adjusted without acknowledging that it might have not been entirely correct. Your unrelenting assistance on the thread is appreciated. Thank you. |
. |
jnyuwa02:You are not correct. Everyone should be encouraged to try their luck as such information may discourage some applicants from asking the school what may be possible.

bigmills:Congrats bigmills |
Rahl007:Congratulations... Thanks for the good news! |
bigmills:Was the new staff transfered from CIC? Abeg oh! |
amihbkt767676:You sound like a future leader. Still encouraging people when you are down and the one who needs to be lifted. (Your strong words show you refuse to be down) I am pained knowing that you even earned a scholarship. Don't give up. The door will open when the time comes as long as you devote some resources to this challenge while carrying on with your life. I was hoping that with the Saudi crisis, they'll let more applicants from other countries in. It's an irony that they say "Come to Canada... Canada needs you" , then we get all fired up only to be bounced after applying. It can be painful. Best wishes. Please, dust yourself up and try again. All those that are successful, should make the best of their stay there. Study hard, make good grades, stay away from drugs and bad friends, make integrity your watchword and be good ambassadors of your families and nation. |
Naijaforeigner:Is it possible to get a waiver from the UK Home Office? I know they believe in protocols but writing to state your current predicament and that you are about to finalize your Canada Visa which may result in a delay of less than a month. Such documentation may help you in future if you decide to stay behind and finish your Canada runs. In fact before you receive a response from the home office, you might have finished canada visa process by then. If you chose to write, try to get an acknowledged copy. Just thinking aloud. |
I've been wondering and waiting for someone to comment... Would Canada not make more slots available for citizens from other Countries as their feud with Saudi worsens? If they pull out their students, it may affect the budget of schools and service providers (like accommodation, restaurants, hospitals, tourism, etc) adversely and they may be a need to cover some of the shortfall ASAP. |
canadabyfire:Na tension! They didn't update his account so he's been flying blind. |
kingfintan:A big congrats. Sounds like a miracle. |
Khikehlohmoh:I left the end date blank. People who have succeeded in the visa process may wish to advise. |

kingfintan:Don't give up. Study the reasons and try again. |
MzDeeb:1. which document type should i choose;National passport or internationally recognized document. International Passport, I believe it comes under Internationally Recognised Document 2. I chose long stay and single entry. Am i on the right track? Yes. Long stay Single Entry. You have to apply for re-entry visa from within Ireland if you wish to travel out during the duration of your program. 3. Proposed date of entry and departure.. I'm confused as to what to choose. Please i need guideline as regards the date of departure especially. My course is 1yr programme, but i have to wait for graduation and i dont know the exact time that will be. I believe 17/09/2018 - 31/08/2019 will do if 1 year program. Preferably, enter last start date as you are applying late or start date in admission letter if stated to avoid contradiction. I think the school will supply you a letter confirming payment of fees and fulfillment of all conditions previously requested which you will use to apply for visa. Remember to obtain and include the letter. 4. Length of residence in present country: i wrote my age and additional month as at date. Am i correct pls? Correct PLEASE CROSS CHECK THE APPLICATION BEFORE SUBMITTING SINCE YOU STILL NEED TO WAIT FOR THE LETTER FROM SCHOOL AND GET BANK STATEMENT. SUBMISSION AT VFS IS NOT BY APPOINTMENT BUT WALK-IN BASIS. Remember to fill the other form - QUESTIONNAIRE. I think they can give you a copy to fill in VFS in case you forget. Better to fill it when you have time. It's mainly about your family and visas obtained as well as visa refusals. Thanks. |
MzDeeb:Get your bank statement ready. Fill the application form online (You can get it through Irish Embassy or VFS website). You can login and begin to fill the application form if you haven't. There's a number to sign in again as it will be stored for 30 days. PLEASE NOTE that There is also another form to be filled apart from the online application form which you are to sign and submit (The Questionnaire) Make 2 photocopies of ALL your supporting Documents including ALL pages of international Passport (s) to be submitted (EXCEPT bank statement -No need to photocopy Bank Statement). Get 2 passport pictures with white background that conform to their requirements. You may write your SOP and Application letter. After submitting online, Print out SUMMARY SHEET and also print a copy of the QUESTIONNAIRE form. Include all your Previous visa refusal letters (if you have been refused visa to Ireland or other countries). Take all the documents to VFS to submit. Check the address of submission office for IRELAND on VFS website. Go with about ₦50,400 cash for fees payment (this includes Courier fee to return your Original Documents and Passport/s). You can start here and continue to get guidance as you proceed. Good thing is that Ireland forms seem to be very straightforward. I'm impressed as the've managed to keep it Simple and Straightforward in a world where things are being made more and more complicated which doesn't necesarily mean that their system is weaker. I guess their back end processes are tight. Thier Institutions also seem very helpful with communication. You may check if they have January Start and put them on notice in case your visa application file is not treated before final resumption date. If you have any other questions like submission time, address, documents, etc , please call VFS and ask for Ireland Representative (Google their Phone Number). If you've not started... Please start now! |
MzDeeb:I am optimistic you will get the visa. I was thinking your school in Ireland could scan and send your transcript to the embassy's email upon request from you. They may attn: the Visa Officer and include your tracking Number which you will receive from VFS after submission as well as your Name and Submission Date. Just suggesting. |
NeyofeedNigEnt:I believe you can as long as you are not strong out of the airport into the country after passport control. KLM, Lufthansa, Turkey, Air France, etc. You may simply call wakanow or the airlines directly to find out. I think the most important thing is having a visa which allows you entry into your country of final destination. Call or make a dummy booking and check the ticket rules. On closer examination, it seems you are talking about transiting 2 (two) EU Countries and not just through a single EU Country. Don't think it's possible without Schengen visa but still check. Na sightseeing trip? |
Ogedadiva:Wish I could assist but I don't know much about it. Someone please help Ogedadiva. |
kingfintan:Let's pray for the best. Your page may soon be updated. |
kingfintan:If you didn't do medicals upfront and you probably used paper route, I'm afraid it may not be good news. You didn't give sufficient info so folks here may not be able to guide you out of fear of misleading you. Best wishes. |
myownvibe03:Congrats! |
Bigeye231:It depends on your undergraduate studies and grades - for instance, I don't think you will get Data analytics masters with BA History. I believe IELTS/ PTE Academic scores has to do mainly with visa processing as it seems to be a requirement for study visa unless the school is concerned about your level of English comprehension with respect to your communication with them. |

partnerus:It's about ₦52k at UKEAS but ₦46k if you pay online. You still have to do the registration online after paying at UKEAS and then enter the Voucher number for payment. I think you can save ₦6k by paying online. |
Twetwi:Please do you need to submit your academic credentials as well for study visa purpose? Or the school admission letter and perhaps English test result will suffice. If you have children who are not accompanying you, do you need to include their birth certificates? Thanks |
xavier0327:Did you make photocopy of only Bio-data page of International Passport or all the pages? Please advice. I know how they make people make unnecessary number of photocopies of documents at VFS only to find out eventually that you were misled by them at point of submission. Thanks |
abuhusna1:Does one also need to go with photocopies of the original documents when going to submit? Also do you need an appointment to submit? Thanks |
A friend of mine got admitted to Institute of Technology, Carlow as well as Griffith College Dublin to study Higher Diploma in Computing. He is very confused as to which one to accept so he wants to get advice from someone already on ground in Ireland. He prefers the Institute of Technology, Carlow which offers a 3 month placement at the end of the program (12 months). Griffith College program is 9 months. Kindly advise with respect to Job opportunities for gaining work experience, cost of living in Ireland vs Carlow and college Ranking (From our online survey, Carlow seems to be ranked higher). Urgent advice will be appreciated as time is of the essence per visa application. Thanks. |
