Politics › Re: Two Atiku Moles Caught In Apc Presidential Campaign Council by gare(f): 5:29am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Frankonuche: Two suspected PDP moles have been caught at the Presidential Campaign Office Central Area, Abuja.
The suspects were apprehended on the 20th February, 2019 and interrogations identified them as Victor Omieza and Dosunmu Oluwatosin David.
It was discovered that they were from the People's Democratic Party and investigation revealed that these men came into the campaign premises to spy and get as much information as they could on the activities of the All progressives Congress under the disguise of being journalists by attending press briefings at the conference hall of the campaign office with some of the party’s directors.
Further investigations revealed that Mr Victor had called Rt Hon Yakubu while Mr Dosunmu also called Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to feed them about the activities at the campaign council. As at the time of this report, the situation is under investigation and the suspects will be prosecuted if found guilty. The suspects later signed an undertaking that any time their attention is needed for further investigations, they will be readily available to comply with any invitation received. “This situation shows the desperation of the opposition party and their strange appetite for all election wrongdoings.” A staff at the APC Presidential Campaign Council said. What's their offence but here, tell me since you want them to be dealt with, the only thing they can do is stop then from entering any of their meetings, I they have not committed any crime here because you all want everyone to be dealt with in this country |

knightsTempler: Only a slowpoke will not differ with Buhari's unconstitutionality. Nigeria is not a jungle. INEC Chairman is following the rule of law. There is stipulated punishment for ballot box snatching which is two years imprisonment without option of fine. What Buhari said was tantamount to killing a fly with a sledgehammer. I condemn election rigging or violence in its entirety. Buhari goofed on this. He should apologize to Nigerians for this rascality. The INEC chairman has the backing of the international community, PMB goofed seriously and its a show of desperation it clearly shows that INEC has slipped through their fingers they no longer have control over INEC so they resort to threat or using the military to scare people. He doesn't know the implications of his statement, that if one ballot box snatcher is shot dead a case file has been opened for him at ICC, we have laws and as such we follow those laws so that we don't have plunge this country into serious crisis that we can't come out from |

PoliticsNigeria: @POLITICSNGR
The Department of State Security Services, DSS has debunked a report that the Presidency is planning to sack the current DG of the service, Yusuf Bichi.
On Tuesday, a report went viral that the agency along with some individuals in the Presidency were planning to sack Mr. Bichi over the 2019 Elections budget for the agency. In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mr Peter Afunanya, the DSS described the report as 'False and mischievous'.
The statement, made available to PoliticsNGR, also debunked a rumour that the former DG of the agency, Lawan Daura has been moved to covert operations.
The statement read;
"The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to a publication on (pointblanknews.com) titled, Elections 2019: Presidency Threatens to Sack DG SSS; Sacked Daura Now in Covert Operations.
The Service wishes to state that the report and all the latest insinuations/claims from your stable are false, mischievous and maliciously designed to bring the Service to disrepute.
The condemnable write up is viewed as a deliberate plot to malign the integrity of the Service and distract its Officers from discharging their core mandate and responsibilities. It is pertinent to state that no such allegations exist either against the erstwhile or current DGSS. You are, therefore, expected to retract the said story and desist forthwith from acts that may undermine the Service.
Consequently, the Service wishes to state expressly that it remains focused and committed to the discharge of its duties, especially at a time like this. This is more so that its energy is concentrated on efforts to provide an enabling environment for security, stability and peaceful polls."

Wisdomkosi: BREAKING!!! Tension In Ebonyi As INEC Names Ex Governor, Elechi As South East Returning Officer
By Wisdom Nwedene
There is currently heavy tension in Ebonyi State as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has named former governor of the state, Martin Elechi as South East Returning Officer.
Igbere TV recalls that Elechi is a well-known All Progressive Congress Chieftain and is not in good terms with Ebonyi State governor, David Nweze Umahi.
In 2015, Elechi refused to support Umahi to become the state governor, instead he backed the candidate of Labour Party who later failed.
Also, Chief Augustine Nwankwegu, a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly who was sacked by Governor Dave Umahi as Commissioner for Justice has been named as Ebonyi state returning officer.
According to report obtained by Igbere TV, Umahi is in shock following the announcement of Elechi as the returning officer for South East and Chief Nwankwegu as Ebonyi state returning officer.
Umahi is said to be sad over the development and has moved to make sure both of them are removed.
More details soon...

An Independent Commission postponed elections to the dismay of both sides and all you are shouting is Buhari Buhari....
You didnt shout Buhari when the same INEC banned APC from presenting candidates in Rivers. Tall about Double standards..
This postponement is to PDP's favour because as it stands PDP is set to lose massively..
Even your paid for report shows that...
But we shall not relent, saving this country from kpletomaniacs is a job that must be done... I don't know why you guys can't just this Rivers issues, point of correction INEC didn't banned Rivers APC it was the court that stopped them from presenting any candidates for the election due to fake ward Congress. Which was done out of greed for Power, it has nothing to do with INEC or PDP, but everything to do with APC foolishness |

seunmsg: According to the above statement, only personnel of the Nigeria Army were withdrawn. If he still enjoys protection from police and DSS personnel, then this outcry is unnecessary. Awka Ibom is a battleground state, the governor should be protected and at the same time should not be allowed to use security operatives to the advantage of his party.
I strongly support the move by security agencies to temporarily cut down the number of personnel attached to political office holders. They can restore their full security once voting ends tomorrow. We must avoid any situation that can compromise tomorrow’s election. If it was done across board and fine but not one sided |
