Politics › Re: Will Apc Go Into The General Elections Without Candidates In Rivers And Zamfara? by gare(f): 5:31am On Feb 04, 2019
dodelight:
The general elections begin less than two weeks from now and there are still court injuctions preventing INEC from recognizing any candidates from APC in both Rivers and Zamfara states. As the party in power and as a government that has little or no regards for the rule of law, do you think the APC will really allow it to go just like that? Of a truth they know the consequencies of not having candidates, most especially in Rivers state, and, I believe, there is a sinister plot underway. Remember a justice of the federal high court that's notoriously known for favouring the APC with his judgements has recently been returned to the seat of power. A case might just prop up before him advising INEC to accept the party's lists of candidates in those states, or even asking inec to shift the polls dates until the case is settled. APC knows the implications of not fielding candidates in those states. Do you think they are ready to suffer those consequences?
And you think that judge will want to stick his neck and favor APC in Rivers case that's clear to a lay man that APC erred, moreover the case has gone beyond the high Court, it's in the hands of the Supreme Court and that judge is not a Supreme Court justices .

To answer your question yes they will not filled candidates in both States, for once we should learn to do the right thing even if it affects us that's the only way to move this country forward

Did he come to beg you or you didn't see or heard he turned down the deal from the presidency, why is the presidency offering a soft landing that's the question you should be asking yourself, what are they hiding.

Guy something is fishy here, if he says he would not resign he knows best, why are they forcing him to resign, why should there be a deal, there is more to this, if he was guilty I believe he would have taken the deal, but he wants to see his case through so we allow him, last week most of you jumped around that the case was thrown out now , you want him to resign

Buhari has really encroached into one of the suppose strong holds of the enemy.
Atiku is just in this election to try his best.
Buhari might get 45-50% votes in delta.
The Best PMB can get in Delta is just 7%, you are not there, we are on ground, forget that stadium, most just came there to see the person that has brought hardship to the land

Will your parents be happy seeing you expend a part of their hard earned money on a failed presidential project? Abi you wan tell me say you no know say una nor go fit win Buhari for election? My advice to you my dear Peter: Don't compare yourself with Atiku and put too much money into the campaign o..... Unlike you, that one had no inheritance and he corruptl earned his riches. So, he can afford to spend them anyhow. If you compare yourself to him and also spend anyhow, walahi, ya papa and mama won't be happy with ya
My friend just shut up for once, what has PMB done that he should be voted back, why cant you just support your candidates and allow others support theirs, who ever wins, wins

Politics › Re: INEC Releases Final List Of Candidates In Rivers, APC Absent by gare(f): 2:56am On Feb 01, 2019
Kennydoc:
I seriously think APC has a plan. It's just impossible they will give up 2 states like that without a real fight. Something is happening in the background. Perhaps, the CJN they are trying to install will fetch them victory at the SC which will lead to suspension of elections in both states. That will give them time to go for the kill after the general elections would have been over, when full elections would be conducted in those states alone.
Only the CJN cannot determine a case at the SC, so dont get your hopes up moreover the Both CJN do have a questions to answer with the NJC, but I dont see APC fielding candidates in both states, even if the case gets up to the Hague, its just a simple disregard for court orders that is the problem of Rivers APC, if only they had adhered to the Court order they will not be in the position they find themselves today, this should serve as a lesson to orders that the rule of law must be followed at all times, it should not be selective.

Politics › Re: If PDP Were In The Position Of APC In Rivers And Zamfara Will They Trust INEC by gare(f): 8:22am On Jan 31, 2019
MrAJQ:
PDP have been alleging the APC led-administration of planning to rig the forthcoming general election despite all their claims has been refuted with facts, the Amina Zakari they appointed as INEC commissioner is now their threat to rig election against them, INEC chairman has concluded that she will not take in coalition of results.

Card reader has been fully adopted, no more incident form and many other linkages to free and fair election has been rectified. Though they're still complaining of rigging.

Now the big question is if the PDP are to be in the position of APC in Rivers and Zamfara of not fielding candidates In these two States of which in Rivers even APC Presidential candidate will not participate in the election, will they still trust INEC? Are they not suppose to commend the President for not interfering in INEC?
Stop asking such dumb questions, did PDP cause their problems.

If you know what the constitution says why are you here on Nairaland, you should be there, you think making noises here on Nairaland makes you an expert in the Nigerian constitution, some of the senators are lawyers with chambers and the constitution is their Bible and I see nothing wrong if they approach the Supreme Court for interpretation of the constitution which is the right way to go.

But he is wrong, power belongs to the people and can be taken back by the people at any time. The people are the boss and currently Tinubu is leading the people, so Tinubu is the boss. Tomorrow, the people may say they don't want Tinubu's leadership again and take the power from Tinubu and give it to another leader or another set of leaders. But until then, Tinubu the Jagaban is the boss of bosses and the big fat ugly Ambode with his uncultured and untrained wife from a faulty background should respect the boss.
