My mom married my dad when he was nothing, they started from the flea bottom. But today they are still happily living together.
Can you replicate that kind of love today? that's my point.
Yes. It still happens.

OP you try.
All I can say is that may genuine ladies not jam or meet these kind of men(the one who made the post plus those that liked and shared it)with such a mindset.
Well said.

I understand that everyone has the right to air their views but it's very disturbing that men can actually reason like this and people actually support this line of thought.

One significant reason is that certain people (male and female) have reduced relationships to being transactional.

As a lady pray to avoid men like the person who was quoted and as a guy pray that your sisters never come across men like him.

It's terrible to have such a mindset.

Hello guys.. Greetings to everyone in the house. Please I have an issue and I need assistance.

A friend of mine who is a South African is planning on visiting Nigeria next month (though for an international official duty) and he wants to pick me along while going back. I am About 21 yrs and I'm working but my salary is low, thus I can't use my bank statement neither can I sponsor myself but he said I should make all the necessary enquires and logistics over here and then leave the rest for him.

I don't know which of the visa to apply for and I don't know if he will be allowed to sponsor my visa/travel. Also, I don't know if his own bank statement of his country will be accepted here on my behalf. Please guys, put me through on all I need to know about this dilemma.

Help a friend...!!
1. Visitors' Visa is what you will apply for

2.*He can write a VERY CONVINCING letter of sponsorship stating the following
a. Why he's sponsoring you in the first place
b. He would be responsible for your flights, accommodation and feeding for the duration of your stay
c. He would ensure that you leave the Republic at AT THE END OF YOUR AUTHORISED STAY

He would néed to attach his certified ID /Passport copy as well as his bank statements to show he has sufficient funds

You include your own bank account statements as well

Follow the necessary application procedures and submit

Nigeria cannot even hold a credible election and even at that, we need international observers to make their reports to their foreign presidents. Does that sound sovereign to you??

We are massively in debt to the Chinese and EU. Does that sound sovereign to you??

We can’t even drill and process our oil but the British, Americans, Russians end Chinese are benefitting massively from our our reserves. Does that sound sovereign to youhuh

Our looted national wealth is tied to numerous foreign bank accounts. Trillions of dollars that could benefit you and I is used to develope other people’s country while we wallow and have become the most impoverished country in earth. Does that sound sovereign to you??

Brother, stop deceiving yourself. We are not a sovereign nation because our people are neither in control of our democracy nor does our incredible oil wealth benefit the people or the country.
I seriously doubt your ability to engage in an intellectual debate.
You are just going off at tangents so there is no need to continue with this discussion.
Do enjoy the rest of your day.

Looool.... regardless of how you look at it, Ghana is better off!! Their people are happier and their country is well respected on the international scene. Their president gets visited by the White House while others go to the White House with cap in hand and tail in-between leg.

Ghana is the giant of Africa.
I'm not talking about who's greater or not.
That's mundane and low level discussion.

The bigger picture is that Ghana has unknowingly given up her sovereignty. This may not visible now but in the coming years it would become very obvious. The same way China now owns Zambia. It was done with stealth.

Nigeria can't challenge ghana in anyway including military might.
Ghana has made great allies of the western world powers in a balanced mutually beneficial relationship.
By unknowingly surrendering her sovereignty?

I guess she won't pay for her hotel bills too or did she tell u she had someone there to stay with? the only reason why they will give that person with 50k balance is that the person has a sponsor..

why confusing the lady bro? if u r the consular, will u grant her visa when u know a return flight alone cost 165k-170k, her balance will remain 230k.. will 230k be enough to take care of her bills over there and still come back here without feeling it?
There are people who got their visitors visa with account balance of just 50k while some others with significant amounts have been denied. 400k is more than enough for return flight and her expenses there.

I'm working and earning above 100k now my brother want to give me his company statement of account as a sponsor. Please can I use his statement of account as a sponsor? And how do I go about it and how do I back it up? I will really appreciate your respond please.
Balance of 400k is more than enough to apply for visit visa.

This book helps explain the whole concept of waiting

Why Waiting Works is the self-proclaimed, most practical book ever written on the subject of waiting to have sex until marriage. While some books have been written, few, if any, have ever broken it down as clearly. Why Waiting Works deconstructs the myths and misconceptions associated with the often misunderstood, but vital to understand subject. It’s the common sense approach to dating and finding true love.

Have you ever wondered, WHY WAIT? WHAT’S THE POINT? WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE? Maybe you think the idea of waiting is a dated concept. Why Waiting Works offers practical advice to avoid the common pitfalls made by many when it comes to sex and dating.
It is a ‘How to’ for doing relationships in a different way.

It covers the timeless principle of delayed gratification to get what we want MOST instead of just what we want right now—in every area of our lives.

Thank you very much bro, it means I must not exceed that 10 days and have to rescheduled my ticket to the same 10 days discarding the 3 months stuff if I want to avoid future problems?. Secondly, can it extended by migration? If yes, do you know what might be the requirements? Thanks
1. Don't exceed ten days, return to Nigeria then you can explore your options which includes but not limited to

2. Via critical skills or via genuine spousal sponsorship

Good morning my people from South Africa, may the good Lord bless y'all for your good work, Amen. Please I needed gurus in the house to guide a brother. I am on vacation and luckily was issued 3 months South African Visit Visa on 21st of August which will expire on 20th of November 2018. "TO BE ADMITTED FOR A PERIOD OF (10) TEN DAYS ONLY" was written on my Visa. So when I got here on September 10th, the immigration officer stamped and wrote on it "VALID UNTIL" 2018/09/20, "CONDITIONS" visit. And my ticket shows that I would be staying for 30 days and he saw it. 2 days gone already and my questions are;
(1) What if I continued to stay for 30 days would that be an offense?
(2) If YES, is there a way to extend the stamp to 20 more days?
Some people said I should get a police report to cover my stay for the extra 20 days while most are saying that it's never a problem to stay for 30 days so long I won't exceed 3 month visa which was issued. They said I should go ahead and ignore the stamp, please I don't want anything that will affect me in the future or deny me access to South African Visa in future. Please my brothers and sisters guide me accordingly. God bless y'all Amen.
Let summarise it for you.

If you stay beyond the date stamped on your passport, you will chop ban (a few years) on your way out.

The visa you were issued clearly states that you can't stay beyond ten days.

Rebook your ticket and leave on the day your visa expires.

Good day house.

I will like to make an enquiry for my friend who concluded his PhD in RSA in Criminology and graduated this year.

1. He is having issues on how to join a body in order to process his critical skill visa?
2. He said there are no bodies related to his field?
3. What body can he join?
4. What process can he take at securing a critical skill visa since he is a PhD holder from Republic of South Africa University?

YOUR HELP WILL BE OF GREAT IMPORTANT BECAUSE HE IS CONSIDERING OF APPLYING FOR VISITING VISA TO SA since his visa will be expiring soon.
With respect to 1-3, it's not necessary beacuse gigaba issued a waiver for RSA Graduates who qualify for critical skills visa

4. check here http://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/immigration-services/scarce-skills-work-permits

https://www.vfsglobal.com/dha/southafrica/critical-skills-visa.html

these are good starting points

If he can compile all the required documents while his study permit is still valid, he can submit while he's still in South Africa

I think someone here converted or is about to convert his student permit to critical skills. You can check through previous posts.

Planning my trip already to SA. Any idea on
1) if my GtB MasterCard can be used over there?

2)what cost of feeding is on an average

3) also Cost of transportation

4) how to get access to internet for the 10 days I'll be spending and cost of getting a sim card plus internet connection
1.Yes. POS only.

2. Depending on your eating habits (assuming you are patronising Nigerian restaurants) R150/day should be OK assuming ur hotel gives you breakfast.

3. Short trips on taxify will cost around R20. Public transport is cheap R11-R12 but ensure you know ur way and never seat in front.

4. Buy telkom sim card it's around R10 , 2gb for R200 should be OK for you. Check those paki shops.
