So if you were president and you had two options. Remove subsidy now or go bankrupt within 3 months, what would you have done?

Tompolo done go seize big man ship theu quickly called him to order

Truth is bunkery constitue less than 5% of oil theft

Like Peter obi said... Oil theft is a high class highly organized crime... No poor man can do it

Infact no state governor can do it

Security chiefs, niamasa, nnpc, presidency all must agree for it to happen even customs
And Peter Obi is the saviour that would have stopped it.

Politics › Re: So Tinubu Is Not Saying Anything About Restructuring?? by GeneralDae: 7:22am On Jul 12, 2023
Restructuring means different things to different people. To some, it means creation of new states only, to others, it means strengthening local Governments and devolving items in exclusive list, including state police.
To others, it means going back to regions and to some again (especially in the South South), it means full resource control. Control of oil wealth (which currently makes up 80% of Federal Government's Forex).

Buhari was invited all around the world when he became president, it's nothing new. We've been there, seen that. Its holds no weight.

Tinubu was obscure in france, we all saw that. No propaganda can wash that away.
The only significance he hold is being president (even tho by questionable polls) of the biggest black nation, that's that. It's not him, it is you and I.

Again every nigerian president was made ECOWAS chairman, infact buhari was chairman twice. GEJ was made chairman immediately he took over from yar adua. His was even faster, and held it for another 2 yrs. Infact IBB held it for 4yrs, nobody ever done that. Something that was meant to be rotational. So nothing unprecedented about tinubu's. Learn, unlearn and relearn so you dont comment out of ignorance.

You guys want to make a messiah or great man out of balablu via propaganda. When it's all out their in the public domain that man is a dodgy character, drug dealer, certificate forger and a walking symbol of corruption and state capture. So while you guys try to twist narratives via propaganda, we will always be there to checkmate you guys with reality.

Kapich!
You contradicted yourself. Stop grasping at straws.

You initially said:

The world is avoiding Tinubu and does not want to do anything with him. I gave you several instances to show otherwise.

Your clapback was that every Nigeria president would enjoy thesame thing because it's Nigeria.

Then how do you know the world is avoiding him? You gave example of the Paris Summit.

Then I made it clear to you: Tinubu was initially scheduled to be among the African speakers in France. He was to speak on Data management which he declined and sent a representative instead. You have no answer to that.
He met with Swiss President and other top investors in France, so he was not obscure.

You are just grasping at straws now. Nothing else.

On the ECOWAS and how fast Jonathan was appointed, I can concede on that.

it is a rotational job . It was passed down from akuffo addo to Tinubu . The turn of Nigeria. nothing spectacular about it . Akuffo addo was engaging with Mali junta and Gunniea gun men , burkina faso military when it was his turn , it is now the duty of ashiwaju to do so.
I agree. I"m saying Tinubu is just 2 months into the job. Is it normal with ECOWAS? If not, then it's strange. I'm not trying to win a contest on this particular issue, just curiosity at play.

Also the media paparazzi being made out of his blunders were indeed paparazzi, it contributed to his publicity and people were still able to get his positive track records.
No publicity is bad publicity.

"Planning to invest", "promise to invest", "pledges to invest", "want to invest", but in reality none has brought a dollar down to nigeria to invest. Werey dey hope in propaganda.

You think European countries dont see through y'all gimmicks. That EU report is on the desk of every european country president, and the presidents will sound diplomatically and politically correct anytime they talk about nigeria but in reality none of them will deal with a Narco state that is full of shoddy dealings.

Propaganda does not equate good governance. Wake up from your slumber and stop living in self denial
Learn to see past your bias sometimes.

You said no one wanted him in the Paris Summit because he is a drug dealer. I showed you evidence of leaders and investors going to see him in his residence in Paris, now you changed it.
Note that he was initially billed to be one of the speakers in Paris but he declined and sent a representative instead.
Even if Asiwaju had spoken in France, you would still say it's just a normal accord given to all Nigerian Presidents.

I gave you evidence of a top Japanese investor going to ASO Rock to meet Asiwaju for the flagging of a gas project. You already concluded it would be just audio and nothing would be done.

Asiwaju is just 2 months in as Nigerian president but has been made ECOWAS chairman already, you said it's normal even though it's rare in ECOWAS history.

He has been invited to first BRICS meeting in August by Ramaphosa.

He has been invited by Indian president as a special guest to G20 summit in September.

Yet you say it's normal with Nigerian presidents and at thesame time everyone is hiding from him because he is a drug dealer.

Look back and read through our exchanges to see how biased you have been.

Nope, you are the clown here. Nobody is looking forward to meeting balablu. He was obscure in paris.
No reasonable investor will move his/her hard earned resources down to a country where the head of the government emerged via a shoddy polls, have questionable character, and have a shoddy credentials. If you are not aware, nigeria just recorded negative FDI for the first time in 33yrs. So who are those who want to meet and invest? Absolutely Nobody!

Again, ECOWAS chairman is out there for any nigerian president except you choose to pass. ECOWAS cease to exist without Nigeria's resources. Money talks bullshit walks
You are truly ignorant. These are the investors Tinubu met with in France:

-Indorama is planning to expand investments in Nigeria. ✅
- EBRD said they will now invest in Nigeria.✅
- AFREXIM bank promised more investments. ✅
- Swiss President wants to work with Nigeria ✅
- Benin Republic pledges loyalty ✅

Tinubu met with the leaders of all these organisations in France.

Already top Japanese Investor has gone to ASO Rock to discuss a 5 Billion dollars investment deal as well.

Its doesn't stop individuals from doing business with nigerian government but it certainly will taint our passport and limit the country.

He is already ECOWAS chairman. Nigeria funds almost 60% revenue of ECOWAS. So he is not ECOWAS chairman because he deserves it. He is ECOWAS chairman because ECOWAS basically depends on nigerian resources to function. If you are to become nigerian president today, except you pass up the position, it's all yours for the taking.
You are funny. The world is ready to see Tinubu and also bring investments into Nigeria despite seeing us as a Narco state because of thesame Tinubu.

A Narco state? Are you kidding me?

Just last week, a top Japanese investor for floating LNG Gas project (to be completed 2026) of 5 Billion dollars came to see Tinubu to begin flagging off the project.

Countries Buckle Under the Highest Sovereign Loan Default Rates in Decades

The severe economic headwinds triggered by the Russian-Ukraine War created fiscal distress for most countries, particularly emerging markets with significant debt levels and dwindling revenue. Monetary tightening over the period saw borrowing costs soar, preventing economies from fresh issuances (Bonds) to avert payment defaults. As a result, global default risk and credit rating downgrades increased globally.

According to Moody's Agency, the annual sovereign bond default rate rose to nearly 5% in 2022, more than five times the average default rate between 1983-2021. A total of seven countries defaulted in 2022, namely Mali, Russia, Sri Lanka, Belarus, El Salvador, Ukraine, and Ghana, and two other countries (Argentina and Mozambique) have defaulted in 2023, according to Moody’s.

Analysts have noted that emerging countries dominated the number of defaults, exposing the fragile state of the countries as they grapple with currency devaluation, rising inflation, and declining foreign reserves. However, the default rate may fall in 2023 as a gradual moderation in inflation and interest rate hikes chisel away at high borrowing cost.

Let me just tel youl something, according to the interpretation of forfeiture given by the supreme court by Olukayode Ariwoola, the current Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), while serving as a Supreme Court justice, declared that forfeiture means “the loss of a right, privilege or property because of a crime”.
What labour party lawyers needed to prove is that there was a forfeiture, and bamidele helped them prove it beyond all reasonable doubt yesterday
Chief Justice of Nigeria speaks in terms of Nigerian law based on the Nigerian case he was judging.
The Tinubu case was an American case where the laws on forfeiture are either criminal or civil (which is not the case in Nigeria).

I'm not against the person in the eyes of the storm. As a matter of facts, I lost faith in the political leadership of this Country a very long time ago. But we must learn to call a spade by what it is.
Now, in response to your querry on my second assertion, how do you prove your innocence when for instance, you're accused of wrongdoing? Is it by doing an acts which, in itself appears more suggestive of your implied admittance of the alleged wrongdoinghuh
Asumming you were driving in your car and you drove into a petrol station to upment your tank, and while you were at the station to buy fuel for the car, someone came out and demanded that you hand him the keys of the car that the car belongs to him, will you hand the person your car keys as a way of proving your innocence that the car is yours and that you didn't steal ithuh
Or will you, assuming you had bought that your car with 5 million Naira, now say okay, you will forfeit 2 million Naira for instance, to that person laying claim to your as a way of proving your innocence over the allegation of car thefthuh
You are missing the point. Bola Tinubu did receive money from a drug dealer. He admitted receiving 8 thousand dollars at first, out of which he bought a car and then 80,000 dollars. The issue here is was he a drug dealer or was used by the drug ring for money laundering without his knowledge? The person here was a close family friend living in America while Tinubu worked in Mobil Nigeria. So while he saved money for the person by opening a business account for investment, Tinubu was given some laudable cash as well.

If he was used for money laundering, and the sums are huge, by American anti money laundering law from drug dealings, he must forfeit whether he was aware of it or not.

With huge sums, they must forfeit not more than 500,000 dollars.

If he was part of the drug ring and this was proven, then he becomes the defendant (and not just his account).

In that case, he doesn't just forfeit but goes to jail.

Mr. Man, first and foremost, your analogy is empty as same is bereft of any modicum of logical empirisism.
Nevertheless, you have admitted that person you are trying so hard to defend was a squatter, which is contrary to earlier proposition that, he was so rich and as such, could not afford to have quartted with anyone while in the US when this issue came up at the early stage. I remember Festus Keyamo once said, he was merely sharing apartment with suspected drug maffias.
Nevertheless, answer this question, going by your postulations, assuming your friend or any known person to you, hands his or her bag to you to hold, maybe at the Airport to hold for him, that he want to ease his or herself, and while you are still in possession of the said bag, a security personal at the place for whatever reasons demanded to search that bag in your possession and in the event of such search, found out that there were stolen items in the bag you were asked to hold by your friend. Will you be accused of being in possession of stolen items or you will be adjudged innocenthuh Bearing in mind the legal presumption of stolen items being in the possession of someone after the stealing incident.
Tinubu struggled in his early days in America.

This is a long read on Tinubu's early days.
Long but worth it.

https://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2021/03/29/tinubu-at-69-his-life-story-from-rugged-early-period-escape-to-exile-others/

As to your second assertion, if in the court the person can prove he was merely given the bag to hold, why should the person be convicted or pronounced guilty?
