I am currently having issues with girlfriend now... she is no longer committed in the relationship like she was before...
she no longer show care and interest like before...I have asked her what is the matter only to tell me the last time we meet there were things she observed that she wasn't cool with
she told me some stuffs which does not make sense to me...I have apologized and promised to make up for our next meeting because we are in a long distance relationship...but still she is not committing asking me to give her more time to adjust.

Hi guys,
This is a follow up to my initial thread where my girlfriend.. Now ex... Asked for a one week space.

So a lot happened after the one week space. Honestly, my anxiety got the whole of me, cos she really drenched me emotionally. I found myself becoming a joke of my former self. From the man who will be in control, to the guy chasing for her time. She basically put me on a chasing wheel.

After the space,  I mentioned we were "working" through things for about a week, until when she did the worst. Basically arguing against me in a confrontation with her 'toaster', taking his side and calling me a liar and driving home with him. I did break up on the spot, but she still came back like she didn't realise what she did was the height. I still thought "well, maybe she didn't understand", so at the expense of my self-respect, I took her back but promised myself that when things cooled down, I will give her an ultimatum to cut off with that guy.

I don't give a hoot, whether she is a virgin or not as long as its in her past. She is a very nice girl one who can be trusted.

However, my concern is with her Life goals, she is about 23, a hair dresser, her mum is late, her Dad is somewhere in Cotonou, her brothers are in Abeokuta, only her stays at Ota.

Right now, there is no plan for her to go to school, not even NCE or OND, she is fending for herself, which is very noble, but, I don't want to shoulder any heavy responsibility right now, If in d next 3 years, I want to settle down, where would she be career wise?

I don't want to use that as an excuse, so that she doesn't feel bad. So this sex thing can be my escape route. Tell her I can't be in a relationship without sex since she wants to abstain, then we all go our separate ways.

At least d Unilag girl has something going on for her. In 3 years time, she will be a graduate of Bio-Genetics, shes younger and smarter.

Even if we don't get to date, at least any investment on her (which wouldn't be high) would be worth it, to herself, her family and the society at large.
