LordKO: Firstly, she's a headstrong woman of the controversial stock - she's neither a strong-minded woman nor a headstrong woman of the maverick stock - so, as bad as she seems, she's still better than a calm and feeble-minded woman of the egoistic ethical leanings. Only the former mentioned (strong-minded and maverick) can best her in good deeds, all things being equal.
I arrived at the above using her EMI and P:
- Her emotional quotient is negative, it's above normal (she has strong emotion). . . Yet, it's going to be very useful in making the best out of her.
- Her moral quotient is average. This isn't a problem, she'll volitionally and automatically attain a healthy moral quotient with the steps below.
- Her intelligence quotient (not her practical intelligence quotient which is irrelevant in this case) is average. As much as she's a domineering person, she isn't conceited, which is a plus in her case.
- Her personality type is boisterousness - a normal human has either a boisterous personality or a calm one. Notionally one's physical persona matters, but realistically it doesn't. . . There are boisterous people who're libertarians and conscientious. Unfortunately, people do judge her by her boisterous physical persona without putting into consideration her non-IQ which isn't on the negative side.
Citing the above facts, any man who must go to her for a long-term serious relationship or marriage must be one who has sincere interest in her; and must possess/acquire libertarian, resourceful (not necessarily wealthy), calm (but not feeble-minded) and selfless attributes.
Her types never like to lose either honorably or dishonorably, yet, they can volitionally give up any bad attribute they possess to retain a man or woman that offers them goodness with neither servility nor evil. They can really reciprocate goodness, all things being equal.
In summary, as much as a man can't count on her faithfulness (I don't mean in its formalness) when the chips are down - faithfulness is the hallmark of a strong-minded wo/man - one can count on her loyalty if things remain unchanged. Whereas calm and feeble-minded people of the egoistic leanings have neither loyalty nor faithfulness to offer anyone - their dispositional servitude shouldn't be mistaken for either of the two. What about Churchill ? Why do you think they weren't good for each other Btw you are very correct about the calm , feeble minded ladies. Unfortunately very few Nigerian men know this. They tend to have the best "wife material skills" and attract so many men because they don't seem to have wahala ,When they are actually joggling five different boyfriends. |

When they started the network was sweet and u had to pay just ₦7500 then, they increased to 10k and ₦12500. Now with bad service they're charging people more, abeg I leg over Not even the 17500 own works? I guess the bad service is due to network overload. 17500 is a small sum for 24/7 unlimited . many Nigerians won't mind paging for it. They simply can't provide for all their customers Which is better though? Swift or spectranet What are their offers? |

jowhyte: No matter how badly Toke first reacted, this is not good for a client who paid you for a job.
Calling a client from hell is a no no. I can never deal with such a designer after how horrible she is handling a maybe difficult client. She would have handled It better than this.
EDITED We've seen lots impatient, difficult and and sometime problematic customers like Toke.
For example, a customer saw my product/service advertised where I promised heaven and earth on how such product will help him solve a problem via my sales copy/letter. I even went ahead and promised after purchase support should he run into trouble using it.
After purchase, maybe after 7days he went straight to SM and say my product dont work as promised as result he may even end up calling me scammer without even first contacting.
Maybe I was tagged on the post or somebody brought it to my notice. It's normal for me to be pissed especially when the customer has has already bridged the rule not to have first reached out explaining me the difficulties encountered while he wait for me to provide solution.
I can express my displeasure instantly to the customer on SM but politely why he refuse to first contact me and waiting for my solution before going public, but I will later make attempt to pacify the customer by trying to solve the problem encountered first as I have promised for the post sale support.
If he/she is truly satisfied with the resolution, the same person will go to the same SM and say I have perfectly fixed the issue and I am not a scammer as he/she once thought. With this I have made my client happy, also protected my brand/name and also stand the chance of winning more potential customers over.
Reason I love the white so much when it comes to customer service. You complain after filing a dispute, they check and if the product/service fall short of the standard/duration they promise during their sales letters they issue a FULL REFUND and even ask you to KEEP the product even with APOLOGIES on top of it and count as one of those bad annual deals.
No first remorseful attempt to fix the customer complaints or pacify her, barely couple of weeks millions just going down the drain even if she was first satisfied with delivery notwithstanding.
How can a customer who have allegedly/supposedly spent 1.9M on your service be a hellish client? NO matter how bad the behaviors and intentions of such customer is, you try to handle it professionally as you will not only get repeat patronage thereafter, you can also get referrals/recommendation which is the cheapest potent means of advertising.
Toke too nor try, she would have first DM or contacted the lady first before taking her ordeal public. All the Edoho's wife did was damage control. Recall that she didn't respond at first. It was bad damage control and her PR manager should be fired( if she has one) |

Husbandman: I'm newly married and I'm getting angry at my wife for always crying like a child when she hits her hand on anything. Or she slips on the floor and the next thing is to burst into tears. Even if she is frying fish or meat, and the oil splashes on her, she will scream like something more serious happened. Recently she sat on a plastic chair and she fell, she cried out and was shedding tears that her back and hand are paining her. I told her to stop crying like a baby or a small child and act like an adult she is. Now she says I'm not loving or caring. But I don't want to pamper her when she is crying. I love her but I need her stop these unnecessary cries. It annoys me. Don't know what to do to change the narrative Do what we do to spoilt children when they use crying to get attention... Simply ignore. Every time she starts crying just find something else to do . If she needs your help, help her with things she can't do but no petting. if you keep petting her, what happens when you aren't around and she has to care for the kids alone is that how she will keep crying? |

MuttleyLaff: I didnt know you already have. I use all and/or any available bible translations
"And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart" - 1 Samuel 9:19 KJV
"Samuel answered Saul: "I'm the seer. Go up ahead of me to the high place, and eat with me today. In the morning I'll send you away and tell you everything that is on your mind." - 1 Samuel 9:19 ISV
"And Samuel answereth Saul and saith, 'I am the seer; go up before me into the high place, and ye have eaten with me to-day, and I have sent thee away in the morning, and all that is in thy heart I declare to thee. - 1 Samuel 9:19 Young's Literal Translation
God chose Saul because He could see from Saul's thoughts and aspirations that he wanted to be a king. Though, it wasnt God's perfect will, God permitted Saul's dream and wish, all the same, a handsome young man. There was not a man among the people of Israel more handsome than he. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people, to come true.
Look at Saul's pretence response in 1 Samuel 9:21, pretending like he isnt at all interested, to what Samuel, in 1 Samuel 9:20 said about him: "But who is it that the people of Israel want so much? It is you--you and your father's family."
You can want anything in your heart generationz but remember the buck ends with God. Remember Jesus' prayer in Matthew 26:39: "“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”" Thanks. I enjoyed this exposé |

MuttleyLaff: "26Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood? 27Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay a hand on him; for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And they agreed. 28So when the Midianite traders passed by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for twenty shekels of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt" - Genesis 37:26-28
"8And Judah said to his father Israel, “Send the boy with me, and we will go at once, so that we may live and not die—neither we, nor you, nor our children. 9I will guarantee his safety. You may hold me personally responsible! If I do not bring him back and set him before you, then let me bear the guilt before you all my life. 10If we had not delayed, we could have come and gone twice by now.”" - Genesis 43:8-10
18But Judah approached him and begged him, “Your Excellency, please allow your servant to speak to you privately.i Please don’t be angry with your servant, since you are equal to Pharaoh. 19Your Excellency asked his servants, ‘Do you have a father or brother?’ 20and we answered Your Excellency, ‘We have an aged father and a younger child who was born when he was old. His brother is now dead, so he’s the only surviving son of his mother. His father loves him.’ 21“But then you ordered your servants, ‘Bring him here to me so I can see him for myself.’ 22So we told Your Excellency, ‘The young man cannot leave his father, because if he were to do so, his father would die.’ 23But then you told your servants, ‘Unless your youngest brother comes back with you, you won’t see my face again.’ 24Later on, after we had gone back to your servant, my father, we told him what Your Excellency had said. 25“‘Go back,’ our father ordered, ‘and buy us a little food.’ 26“But we told him, ‘We can’t go back there. If our youngest brother accompanies us, we’ll go back, but we cannot see the man’s face again unless our youngest brother accompanies us.’ 27“Then your servant, our father, told us, ‘You know my wife bore me two sons. 28One of them left me, so I concluded “I’m certain that he has been torn to pieces,” and I haven’t seen him since then. 29If you take this one from me, too, and then something harmful happens to him, then it will be death for me and my sad, gray hair!’ 30“So when I go back to your servant, my father, and the young man isn’t with us, since he’s constantly living life focused on his son, 31when he notices that the young man hasn’t come back with us, he’ll die, and your servants really will have brought death to your servant, our father, along with his sad, gray hair! 32Also, your servant pledged his own life asm a guarantee of the young man’s safety. I told my father, ‘If I don’t bring him back to you, you can blame me forever.’ 33Therefore, please allow your servant to remain as a slave to Your Excellency, instead of the young man, and let the young man go back home with his brothers. 34After all, how can I go back to my father if the young man doesn’t accompany me? I’m afraid of what might happen to my father.” - Genesis 44:18-34
We all have our frailties, Jacob you, others and I, so I can live with all you typed up above, it's good and tasty, but let me add the spice and sauce to it to give it more kick.
We know that Judah wasnt even the firstborn, he was the fourth born, but he apparently was a naturally born leader, hence how he was able to take lead and convince his brothers not to kill little boy Joseph, but to sell him off into slavey. It is this first initiative in Genesis 37:26-28 above and the other two opportunities in Genesis 43:8-10 and Genesis 44:18-34 also above, where he, Judah as usual, acted before others did, to assume power, lead and take charge of tricky situations, that singled him out as worthy to have that blessing.
"8Then Judah said to Er's brother Onan, "Go and sleep with your brother's widow. Fulfill your obligation to her as her husband's brother, (i.e. apparently as the levitical law marriage requires) so that your brother may have descendants. 24About three months later, Judah was told, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar has prostituted herself, and now she is pregnant.” “Bring her out!” Judah replied. “Let her be burned to death!” 25As she was being brought out, Tamar sent a message to her father-in-law: “I am pregnant by the man to whom these items belong.” And she added, “Please examine them. Whose seal and cord and staff are these?” 26Judah recognized the items and said, “She is more righteous than I, since I did not give her to my son Shelah.” And he did not have relations with her again. " - Genesis 38:8, 24-26
Judah was not just someone with leadership traits, he also was a stickler for the law and/or rules. He, in his quest, to follow rules and standing up for others, is known to insists on things be done in a certain way. Like for example, in Genesis 38:8 above, where Judah insisted and compelled Onan to do the right thing for his dead brother and his wife, Tamar. It was same Judah, who inadvertently and technically himself, at the end, performed the levirate marriage law duty for Tamar and later on in Genesis 38:26, also saved her from being burnt to death for deemed to have had illicit sex.
"The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be." - Genesis 49:10
Now the sceptre, is an ornamental staff held by a ruling monarch, as a symbol of power, and so, Jacob was going by Judah's antecedents and track record, when he pronouced the blessing on Judah the way or manner he did in Genesis 49:10 above.
generationz, cycling back to Saul after all the above, said about Judah, do you know the exact words Samuel said to Saul, I mean what he told Saul first, before telling him not to worry about the missing donkeys, as they've already been found? Repeat here the exact words, what Samuel told Saul, please, if you do. Makes sense "I'll tell you want you want to know" Hmmm I always thought that was in relation to the donkeys. Just reread it now. |
