kossyablaze:Na so.. |
kossyablaze:No tell me say u no fit deduce say introvert na man? You fall my hand o... |
They won't comment on this thread because their brains isn't yet matured to reason intelligently as required by Jiti Ogunye's piece. Forgive them for their brains is only meant for them to hide behind their computers and utter unintelligent talk. |
A thread of almost 2 years just hitting the front page. The mods are really doing their jobs by digging up considering threads like these. |
Abeg baba should give the place a facelift but he shouldn't touch our bar there. I was still there last week to have my bottle of star and barbecue fish. |
chukwudi44:Are you saying that you can change rules without informing the people the rules are meant for berore the constitution of the new assembly? |
Activa:I totally agree with you. That is where the government of the day has to be strong and put in mechanisms to harmonise all the approaches that have to be taken to ensure the demand for foreign currency reduces. |
Immatex:Is it only the BDC's that determine the exchange rate or are in the Forex business? Wasn't the naira sliding before the recapitalization of the BDC's? Are the investors only from the North? Are the importers only from the North? Are the Northerners the only ones that conduct businesses with forex? I no reason to debate with you or to educate you because i see you have made up your mind on viewing the economics of exchange rate from a tribal angle. Even though your opinion should not be discarded with the wave of a hand, economics has nothing to do with tribe so quit the sentiments. If the CBN governor is removed, it is because he has failed to do the job that was expected of him which is to stabilize the naira and in my opinion i think he's trying his best |
Misanthrope:It may be inevitable but at this time it is not an option. You and I know that whatever goes up in Nigeria hardly comes down. Devaluing the Naira should only be carried out WHEN WE HAVE EXCEEDED ALL OPTIONS. The FGovernment now has to put measures in place, accelerate it and follow it down to the letter. |
Immatex:Either you are plain ignorant of what basic economics is in a country like Nigeria where things are upside down (which is caused by greedy people) or you're just not knowledgeable in anything. What is happening wasn't caused by northern BDC's just for the sole purpose of discrediting the CBN governor but by thieves and greedy people who want to make quick bucks by forcing the naira down by all means and knowing they can get away with it because its Nigeria. Even if a foreigner heads the CBN, these crooks will do the same thing over again. They won't have a problem with any CBN governor notwithstanding wherever he's from so far he allows them have a field day against Nigeria's economy and the naira. |
Misanthrope:Devaluing will only work in an ideal society but you and I know Nigeria is not an ideal society. Further devaluing of the naira will practically kill Nigerians while investors will so rape the naira that it may sky rocket to N350 to 1 dollar. I don't have to tell you what that implication will mean for Nigerians and its economy. |
reportnaija:You guys are missing something here. Even though what he did should not have warranted this kind of beating but he caused this to happen by initially slapping a DSS official. |
Those okada riders have turned themselves to become a menace to us other road users. They have taken over every street corner and junction and block car owners from having free passage I'm sure a census of them will reveal they are more than the ants in lagos state. The census will further reveal that most of these drivers are Hausas, Nigeriens and Chadians. They speak little or no english so I avoid asking them for directions. The restriction of their operations should be carried out asap before they block every available space in Lagos. |
See what social media can cause. You shit, you talk.. You eat, you talk.. It will get to a point you start yapping rubbish. Mr. Bruce should stop all these rubbish and start acting like a CEO that he really is. |
carzola:Allah, dem don swear for you. |
indiraserv:Arrested for wetin na? Where is it in the constitution that a man/woman shall be arrested for talking about you. You want to be like Buhari of the 80's abi.. |
Nigeria's smartest politician (the equivalent of Messi & Ronaldo). I hail o!!! |
I tire for una! Which world is she shocking with this picture? Definitely not mine. |
Story Story.... Story! Once upon a time... Time Time! Nobody hated Jonathan for hating sake. He brought the hate upon himself due to his actions and inactions. |
Not funny! |
68 cool billion naira! The guy is a greedy guy. I wonder how he expects to withdraw all that money without getting caught. He should have just made do with a tangible amount and avoid all this wahala (Notice: I dont support theft in any form. Im just astonished). |
And would all the likes in the world bring back those girls? Life is not lived alone on social media like this current generation is doing. |
People are fast to post fake news all in a bid to be the first to break the news without confirming if the matter is true or false nor getting to the root of the issue and this social media thingy has now become a tool to spread evil news and rumours faster than the speed of light. Even if this particularly case is true, subsequent issues should be properly investigated before it is reported as news before it misrepresents/misinterprets and eventually end up painting the parties involved black unjustly. |
Pls how can I change mine on the jamb site with my phone, pls I need it urgently. |
He initially won many battles but lost the war in Rivers State though he didn't end up with a serious bloodied nose. But trust me, he's going to Abuja to reinforce and then come back to fight his enemies since he never gives up. This is just the end of Round One, he's going to be fighting this war for the next 4 - 8 years and the backing he will have from Abuja will enable him sustain the tempo. |
I have come to like the guy by providing me a comedy relief anytime I look at his poster. Over the past few weeks of seeing this guys posters in different parts of Lagos, I believe the guy is a serious guy compared to other clowns who have just one poster in the whole of lagos therefore I doff my hat for him. He shouldn't be mocked but should be encouraged because he's just exercising his right. All the best to the guy in his future endeavor after the election. |
I learnt you can't see Jonathan without going through this guy. And you also had to part with some goodies (cash) so as to book an appointment with the President. A life has come to an end and sadly life continues for the rest of us. |
@ liljboy, 9icetoo and marpol. If you guys are just noticing that that Mobil filling station is notorious for sharp practices, then I will say welcome to Lagos. I was scammed by them way back in 2011. "It was nepa has taken light trick that was used on me." Infact I consider all Mobil stations to be rogues. I can never buy fuel from Mobil again in my life unless there is fuel scarcity and my gauge is on empty. |
I have been waiting for Aribisala's article since last week but the shock didn't let him show up. Now that he has finally found his voice after being disappointed, I'm not surprised by his writings. He's just a loser. I hope his hatred for the north won't drive him insane. |
I have been visiting premium times everyday since the pesidential election for his latest article on Buhari's win but he seems to have bitten the dust and gone underground. Shame on Aribisala. I'm interested to hear what he has to say now. |
