frenchpharaoh1:Is it Bruce's mother that was buried in scotland or Bruce's father's mother? |
This is also one of the things that should be included in this new bill by the senate. The punishment for the op's offence and its like should be 24 hot strokes of the cane. But seriously, youths should stop this rubbish so that we can concentrate on more serious issues bedeviling this country. |
The D-day has arrived. This case will set a precedence for future cases of this nature. |
They are not gagging anyone. All they are saying is don't post false news about anyone on social media. Take for example a guy with the handle "comos". He claimed that people dressed like people from the south west and the north have arrived in Bayelsa since monday for the purpose of the election on saturday. Unfortunately for the guy, he didn't post a source, pics or other evidences to back up the claims. Shouldn't he be jailed for lying against people from the south west and north? Take another example of Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomole. He's always in the news quoting missing billions of naira and accusing Okonjo Iweala without providing evidence. He too should also be changed. If you are not a lazy blogger who feeds on only gossip or a bed belle, then you have nothing to fear over this bill. |
He only rants on twitter but keeps mute when these same issues he rants about are being debated. Anytime I see him on STv with his usual rhetoric, I immediately switch channels. Ben bruce should just admit he's a loud mouth for nothing. |
Tinubu this, Tinubu that... Everything to you people is Tinubu's fault. He must be really powerful to have people mention his name whenever politics his mentioned. APC know the right thing that is why they have insisted on Bello. Faleke's nomination will not stand the test of time when PDP goes to court. As at four months ago, if Faleke was told that he will be the Deputy-Governor of Kogi, he wouldn't believe it talkless of being Governor. He should remain humble and wait for his time. Bello should secure the Governorship seat for APC first then his anti-party activities can be dealt with later. |
Truth be told, several roads have been rehabilited in Lagos maybe those claiming not to see these roads haven't moved round Lagos lately. Is it Ejigbo to Ikotun, Liasu to almost Idimu (I took that road tonite and I was shocked it had been completed) and several roads like that. What I have a problem with is the patching of these roads by LSPWC and not serious construction by competent contractors. These roads that are being patched won't stand the test of time and after a few months we will come back to the issue of pot hole filled roads again (I understand serious construction can't be started because of paucity of funds). To buttress my point above, roads patched during Fashola's era but have now failed made it appear like he didn't fix many roads before handing over to Ambode. That is why we still have a high number of roads being rehabilitated. |
handie:Etim Esin played for Nigeria before all these players you mentioned above. It was bad behaviour and injury that cut short his playing career. I'm sure you are teenager or maybe a young adult hence the reason you don't know him. Well its not bad you don't know him because we learn everyday. |
ify2016:Ahn Ahn!!! So he died at 68 because he became a politician abi? I am so sure that some people who were born on the same day with him did not even live up to the age he died so your remark may be untrue. You should even be happy for him that he clocked that age bearing in mind the life expectancy in Nigeria which is 40 - something. |
Its surprising to learn that individual states of Borno, Yobe, Niger and I think Kwara is larger than the whole South East states put together when viewing the map of Nigeria. |
I wonder the rationale behind hoarding of fuel by these filling stations. If they sell now, they will still make their money unless they intend to sell at unofficial prices. |
Nothing will happen and life will just go on. |
I shouldn't reply this shit but I couldn't resist the temptation. 105 soldiers weren't lost (did not die) but took cover. If you are a soldier and your enemies attack you, will you wait and let them kill you or you will try to escape? And again, why are you concerned since it wasn't Biafran soldiers that was lost but Nigerian soldiers?? |
And when did he borrow $3billion and Nigerians didn't know about it?
Quit this rubbish and dig out facts instead of this shit. |
tripplephi:Despite the Nigerian Police known "uselessness", you will be shocked to learn that they may be useful at times. |
Do you also share the views that the Saraki travails is because of the 2019 presidential election? The same tactic Saraki used to get the Senate Presidency seat is the same tactic his enemies are using to unseat him. He should not complain. All is fair in war!! |
DaBullIT:This is not your normal conventional war e.g World War I, II, Gulf war, Biafra vs Nigeria e.t.c This is a war against an ideology that has turned into terrorism. Kill 1million of them and another 2million will rise up. |
Building a prototype is one thing but the practicality is another thing. That aside and like the op said, I hope the new Minister of Science & Technology will go ahead to set up a development plan for practical and sustainable projects. |
fulaniHERDSman:Kindly don't destroy other peoples crops nor rape and rob them or else, I go unlike you. |
I must confess, this piece is so boring. I ended up not reading it to the end. He should try harder when he wants to engage in sarcasm. |
malton:We are talking about the law here and the law doesn't give room for assumptions, sentiments, emotions, perception but facts. Hard facts!!! So if your staff uses your name/company name to defraud a customer, then you agree that we should just arrest you and sentence you to jail in place of your staff?? a little more grilling will get the PA to spill it out. There's a connect somewhere. This is what you should advocate and not the assumption that doesn't hold water you displayed above. |
elannie:You are daft if you do not know that an 18 year old is also an adult. |
obiorathesubtle:See who is saying someone is suffering from myopia... Remove the speck in your own eye before trying to remove others. |
obiorathesubtle:I have just confirmed that you a real olodo. The Bible says the God of yesterday, today and for evermore.... So are you saying all what happened before Jesus coming should be written off? If those great men in the bible did wrong by marrying more than one wife, why did God not berate them at that time? And as Jesus said - who is without sin should cast the first stone. As a christian, I have no problems with muslims provided that they don't disturb me with their wahala. I conclude by saying respect other peoples religion and culture and live and let live. |
obiorathesubtle:Don't be an olodo. And who told you "one man and one woman" is a normal life?? The religion you are currently practising, those you copied it from had more than one wife in the bible (Abraham, David, Solomon etc). This is Sanusi's religion that permits him to marry no more than 4 wives at a time. Respect his religion please. For your information, I'm a christian with only one wife. |
Lilimax:Don't coat this particular scenario with sugar. 72 - 27 = 45 Sanusi's case: 56 - 18 = 38 and even in this girl's case, she won't be moving in into his house immediately. I even know a man who claims to be half igbo & half igala (Ibaji in Kogi State) who was 60 + who married a girl and she gave birth to her first child for him at 15 years. As it is with the North with older man to younger girl marriage, so it is in the South. |

What's now the difference between sanusi and this man?? We are all just hypocrites. |
This looks like a typical story from a Mills and Boons novel that paints the picture of "Lived happily ever after" but unfortunately, there is nothing like that on earth. The painful part is some girls/women will never realize this. |
Ben Bruce has never impressed me before in my life and he further damaged his reputation in my presence when he became a politician and most especially the moment he walked out with fellow PDP senators during Amaechi's confirmation. As a first time Senator, he needs to be calm and learn the business of lawmaking than always trying hard to impress the populace and further making him unserious in our eyes. |
sniper1305:I see you are in a haste to comment that is why you don't digest what you have read. Where in any of my statements did I accuse him of stealing Kwara's money? Where ![]() |
sniper1305:Just to enlighten you, agreed he was stinkingly rich before he ventured into politics the question is where did he get his money from? The last known employment he held (before he became a Director in his father's bank from 1990-2000) was he worked in the UK as a Medical Officer from 88-89. The major issue is that did he illegally enrich himself when he was a Director in his father's bank while other shareholders money was lost as a result of the management running the bank aground (similar case to Ibru of Oceanic Bank and Akingbola of Intercontinental Bank cases comes to mind)? If no, then how did he acquire all the wealth he declared or didn't declare? |

If this isn't sufficient evidence, what then is?
