micgray100:You still have not provided more info on the minimum number of shares for different types of businesses particularly a company which wants to engage in marine (ferry) services. Patiently waiting for it. Great job you're doing. |
That is a fraudulent action by those banks. The CBN has pegged the dollar at around 199 and have sold it to the banks at that price. Anything higher than that is daylight robbery. Do find a way to lodge your complaint at CBN. |
henrydadon: Mopolchi: Harnny:This should be termed fascination but definitely not innovation! Wikipedia defines innovation as ' a new idea, more effective device or process. It can be viewed as the application of better solutions that meet requirements, unarticulated needs or existing market needs'. This bicycle will be useless to majority of us in the world of today where a car is the most popular mode of transportation. This will only be applauded in an era of no cars or where metal bicycles are expensive. So as it is, it can't be termed innovative because it solves no existing general problem except his own transportation challenges. Note: Pardon me. Just wanted to point something and note prove I too know nor pull the guy's efforts down. Thanks. |
slimfit1:Unrealistic solution you've proposed. Even Jonathan tried it and Nigerians didn't feel the impact. How many buses do you think will adequately cater for the whole of Nigeria? Which roads will the buses ply on sef? Who will maintain the buses? The only solution is to provide massive infrastructure for other means of transportation e.g ferries, railways e.t.c |
BlackPeni5:I wanted to show you the good in what that guy said but after reading the text in red, i decided to rest my words.

If CBN says they sell $60,000 weekly to BDC's @ N197 and they in turn sell it @ N260 - N270, that means they can make up to N4.2m weekly. That is some cool cash on a weekly basis for doing almost nothing. Therefore banning them at this point is the way to go. Since $167 million per week will be saved weekly now, i believe it will be channeled to the following sets of genuine needs - · Matured Letters of Credit from Commercial Banks · Importation of Petroleum Products · Importation of critical Raw Materials, Plants, and Equipment, and · Payments for School Fees, BTA, PTA, and related expenses Despite my displeasure in CBN policy instability since the time of Sanusi, this is the best decision so far in the face of current economic realities. |
Anytime I have mild headache, I use paracetamol but whenever I feel feverish, I call on alabukun. It works like magic. It won't work except the feverish condition has graduated to malaria but if its ordinary fever, alabukun knocks it away sharply. |
Visited there recently on boxing day. Apart from the water from the rock, I wasn't too impressed with the environment. Serious work still needs to be done there. The wall paintings are faded and the steps used to ascend the rock is uncompleted. Now to the fun part. Climbing the rock was so difficult. Missing a step would have resorted to a serious fall. It is claimed that the waterfall has 7 steps but didn't see anything like that. After climbing and walking for more than an hour looking for the source of the water, I was disappointed to end up in a small and almost empty village (It had just like 6 houses and didn't have electricity but was surprised to find solar street lights there). I also saw the biggest plantation of moin-moin leaves.

cornoil:Shows you have some understanding about God (we can never fully understand him). Thumbs up. |
Double post.. |
OsusuMustFlow:Seriously I like this your name o... |
Lilimax:Quit blaming the parents. Are you aware that the mother was a born again christian? The lady in question too was also an eager church goer, good christian untiil she became radicalised. Take for example, my older brother (who is nearing 40) still smokes and drinks even after a serious cough years ago. He also barely attends church despite us being good christians but he cannot commit atrocities despite those shortcomings. My mother has shouted herself hoarse repeatedly all to no avail. So are also going to say that my mum did not bring us up in the way of the Lord? Take another example Mutalab's Father. Mutalab was a good kid growing up and also a good muslim. His father even went to report him to the authorities when he learnt that he may have been radicalised. Can you also say that Mutalab wasn't also brought up in the way of the Lord? Another example: The Redeemers University student that beheaded his pastor father in the night because his father told him to attend a church programme. I can give u several more examples but will stop here. Are you aware the bible says that "the faith of the father will not save the child" Do you know how challenging it is to raise kids now in this internet age whereby they have access and are exposed to all sorts? I guess you don't have kids yet that is why you can sit somewhere and say some kids were not brought up in the way of the Lord by their parents. |
ajepako:That law won't work in Lagos of today and even of yesterday (Fashola's era) Only containers(20 & 40 ft tonne) were affected by the law and not trucks, tankers and co. Now let me tell you why the law can't work now. 1.) Clearing your goods at the Apapa and Tin can ports is so cumbersome that an exercise which shouldn't last 2-4 hrs actually lasts more than that (As you are battling to clear your goods, don't forget that other people are also waiting on the line to clear theirs. That delay of yours will spiral to others). After all the delays and you eventually get to clear your goods. To exit the ports is another serious task because If you don't settle at the gate, they won't let you out. After they allow you exit the gate, then you will encounter serious traffic jam because of the bad state of the roads. From my narration above, can you envisage all the hours of delay? And you ask them to move from only 9pm - 6am. That is just impossible!! Before that law can be carried out out down to the letter, infrastructure has to be in place but unfortunately we don't have that infrastructure at the moment. And if you forcefully want to carry out that law, this is what will happen. - All the flat bed trucks (container) will line up on Ikorodu road therby causing a total lock down of the state thereby causing serious traffic jam like they did some months back (if you live in Lagos, you should remember that incident). And trust me, LASG will never want to see that kind of traffic again in their life. |
Yomboy4ever:This comment got me laughing hysterically |
akthedream:I totally agree with you about almost all nigerian artistes not lyrically sound. And I must confess I haven't really listened to his songs. But like I said, its his reputation that seems to affecting his image in this case. |
akthedream:This issue is not about singing Godly songs but about almost all Lil'Kesh songs filled with vulgarity. I can't play his songs in the presence of my immediate family, my own family and my in-laws. All these artists you mentioned above have other songs that talk of other topics but not in Lil'kesh's case. Hardly do you hear any of his song that doesn't contain anything sexual. Even Olamide didn't get to the heights he has gotten to with sexual songs. Lil"kesh's reputation is what is working against him. Ask those who rode on vulgarity to get massive airplay e.g Skally of Dadubule fame. Which awards did he get before he died. |
classicB:You are correct about Nigerians being hypocrites but not all of us are. I don't listen to Lil'kesh, neither do I have any of his songs on my phone except Jimmy Jatt's "Da yan mo" which I don't listen to anyway. Truth be told, he sings 'cool but rubbish songs' which unfortunately will go against him and in this case has gone against him. |
And how about the father that smokes weed as well? The baby should be taken from them both. |
Despite his many hits but how will Lil'Kesh win with his vulgar lyrics?? I can't play his songs in the presence of my immediate family, my own family and my in-laws. Now if its to be my family listed above that are the only ones to vote, do you know how many votes Lil'kesh would have lost? |

Snake is snake. Cake is cake. There is a difference between both. Will take my time to finish this cake. |
gmyguy:They are so useless!! Same thing happened to me at traffic light at National Stadium, Lagos. |
Howmon:The Nigerian Police Force has got the set of useless uniformed men in Nigeria. They are so unprofessional and so useless. Then the other matter. I have now confirmed that some Nigerian youths are sick in the head caused by idleness and unemployment. A drunk policeman killed people in an hotel which wasn't perpetrated by the owner of the hotel and they now want to burn the hotel down. That's madness!! Oh God, quickly give some Nigerian youths sense. |
All these naija pirates. That's not the cover page of "Why we struck" that I read but it contains the same contents. On another hand, how am even sure its the same content. |
I think suffering has battered the psyche of Nigerians that any news of money spent, eyebrows are raised without even bothering to investigate and confirm if the spending is in order. Its a shock that some Nigerians don't know how much a new car costs because we are so used to Tokunbo cars. They don't know that notwithstanding the budget for defence, our military is still under- kitted. They don't know that there is something called security vote which the Governor of all 36 states can spend on any area of security matters they feel is important. I'm not boasting but I got my new Corolla '15 for almost N6m and its not even the hiighest trim. Now how much do you now think a new SUV designed for military warfare should now cost? |
Abati's attitude when he was in office isn't any way different. They both are the same thing!!! |
macklef:Your statement is not completely true. They give successful men a chance in their lives so as to secure their future while after marriage, they end up following the cute/swag guys because their successful husband in a bid to secure the money, neglects her needs. Hence the use of a toy-boy. Don't be a novice, there is no definite way to a woman's heart. Any man always stands a chance with any woman. The key is meeting their wants/needs at that particular time and you should know that the wants/needs changes as time goes on. |
Shehu Sani is intelligent and at the same time, he talks a lot rubbish. |
okiezman:For your info, the op or moderator has changed the thread's title after realizing his comprehension skill truly needs an upgrade. I can't recollect but this was almost what the op captioned the title as " Pat Utomi blasts PMB. Says he's a joke. |
Whoever the op is is also a joke. Utomi said the budget process is a joke not Buhari is a joke. He also appeared on the said programme before Buhari presented the budget to the Assembly. Utomi's reason for saying the budget process was a joke is based on the non-implementation of parts of the budget caused by weak leadership. Op needs to go back to school to upgrade his/her reading and comprehension skills. For all of you reading this thread, the op has changed the title of the thread. its either he modified it or the moderator changed the title. As at when I commented very early this morning when the thread hadn't been moved to FP from Politics section, the title of the thread was something of this nature "Pat Utomi blasts PMB. Says he's a joke" |
Tombolo indeed!!! Tombolo is the sound your first drop of poop makes when it hits the water in the WC. Lol |
toolovely:Dasuki that had his house surrounded by DSS for days, had his father's house broken into and the same Dasuki that has been in EFCC custody for sometime now. How was he able to compile all that was mentioned above in all that situation. This reporters just come up with different lines all in a bid to sell papers without thinking that readers actually read through the stories and can smell falsehood. |
.... this is what u call rough terrain bicycle
