CultureDo You Support Child Marriage? I Do! by Gentlebabs(op): 2:05am On Aug 28, 2010
In Asian countries the early marriage and therefore early "sending off" to the in-laws house is read as a benefit because it is easier for the child-bride to adapt to her husband's house and therefore have better chances for a happy marriage. It also felt that when a girl is married off early she would be protected from evils such as rape, casual sex, and the like. In Asiatic countries and Africa where chastity is valued above all else, this seems like a great motivating factor for early marriage.

The parents of girls who marry early would normally give less dowry than when they marry at an older age. In areas where poverty is rampant, this is a matter of survival.

Let’s take a case study of our parents, most of them married early, they brought us up with all the qualitative virtues that a good child should possess (Except of course you refuse to listen). This is one of the reason why moral decadence is on the high, due to over-civilization.
Do you have the same opinion as i do? Let’s rub minds. Comments!!!

BusinessTrue Or False (strictly For Great Minds) by Gentlebabs(op): 1:50pm On Jul 19, 2010
No doubt, in Nigeria, insurance related products are nothing to write home about so many years ago. But now, it seems it is sure tool for the undeniable bailout of so many companies out of their financial captivities.

We have seen how so many banks began to open insurance companies. Now, you can’t really commence a building project without insurance. The national pension scheme is insurance insurance re-branded. People are beginning to wake up to the opportunities in the insurance sector. The commission of a consistent field officer can be compared to any bank manager today etc.

Maybe i am right, maybe i’m wrong, your comments will substantiate.

Let the comments begin to roll in . . .

Folks! Please i really need your advice. Sometime in 2006, i was desperate to travel and i was advised to inflate my age to meet the initial U.K. travel ban on people below 30yrs. My application was denied on the basis that my international passport had been tampered with. I got a letter from the embassy telling me my passport has been sent to Investigations unit at Ikoyi.

Now, i am really to travel, but i do not know what my chances are after my experience some 4 years back. Additionally, i will be going to a closeby Passport office to get a new passport, but i really need to know what i stand against? Please, keep your feedbacks/contributions rolling, this brother really needs your advise.
