If the Bible clearly and explicitly warns against homosexuality, sodomy and lesbianism, then CHRISTIANS should abstain from such lifestyles.

However, if an homosexual or lesbian is NOT A CHRISTIAN, I don't think the Christian laws are binding on such a person. Rather, the laws of his religious beliefs (where applicable) or the laws of the country and land where the person resides, are binding.

In Nigeria, homosexuality is a crime but if there are no laws against homosexuality in America (for instance), then homosexuals are free to live their lifestyle provided they are NOT CHRISTIANS.

So the Israelites were penning all what happened in their midst until the birth of their Last Prophet (Jesus of Nazareth)! Hebrew 1:2

After Jesus' ascension back to heaven, he spoke with few of his followers directly from heaven until the completion of all the information God had for mankind, in the concluding part of the book called "Bible" Jesus made it clear that Nobody will hear anything from God again because there is neither addition nor subtraction from the information he has revealed! Of course demons (fallen angels) will continue to speak to people {2Corinthians 11:13-15 compare to Revelations 16:14} but as for the true God He is no more speaking to or through any man again because that would be tantamount to addition!

They were all surprised to see me.

I'm also a Nigerian and i wish for a time like that too, but a young first century Jewish carpenter named Jesus of Nazareth did something that really touched my heart!
According to the events as recorded in a book called Bible, this young man possessed some strange powers to perform wonders, so his people schemed to make him their King by force {John 6:15} they wanted to do this because they're fully convinced that with the powers this young man possessed, he can conquer all their enemies including the Roman empire dominating them back then.
Surprisingly the young man declined the offer!

But why?
Is he not a patriot of that nation?
Didn't he love his people, most especially his mother and siblings?
Was he scared whether the secret of his powers could be unraveled?

Well his people got fed up of him and handed him over to their own enemies for him to be killed so they can forget about him, his powers that's of no use to their nation, and completely wiped off all memories of him.
