NoLoveNoPain:There's no need for that. Just take a walk, and thank your stars. There's always someone else somewhere. |
How can these guys be killing their very own people! *beats me* |
Chris Brown - With You |
Thank you! |
Beremx:And you can be sure that she'll have the very best of education. Besides, she's from an affluent family already, so the sky is her starting point. |
"Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand. |
Baby don blink, baby eye don tear. |

all4naija:See your life outside. Bad belle don cloud your head. The OP explicitly states that the workers are of the Ondo State government and that the state government has gotten its own portion of the bailout funds. Did you even read the story at all? |

Which one is Yoruba Council of Youths again?! Four or five blokes will just pool themselves together, give themselves a marketable name and start making noise in the media. All for 'toro' and 'kobo'. Haba! |
uselessgoat:I'm with you on this. My first reaction to the news was a long deep-throated laughter. ![]() |
The Trojan Horse joins Lizard. How fitting! As long as she's not sitting on the FEC, well wishes to her. |
opeaceo:Mars ko, Jupiter ni. |
maci:Isn't that lazy? |
Lovely! Just lovely!! Reminds one of the documentary series done on the Benin, Ethiopian, Nubian and Great Zimbabwean empires by Gus Casely-Hayford. Our history(ies), as Africans, starts not (and neither is it exhausted) with colonialism, slave trade and the likes that came with the white man's forceful incursion into Africa. It's time we propagate what's ours. Read Tunde Fagbenle's column in The Punch the other day where he rightly said that what we need to build, going forward, are temples, not shrines. We need not only to come out and utter what we have; we also need to make what we are propagating attractive... |

OMG! Ekiti, airport!? Seven save us. |
This is one 'dead' country! |
Ministers make more noise than do anything actually. Their primary aim is to ensure that their respective ministries adhere to the policy guidelines of the government in place, and then even wednesday, they go to the FEC meeting to table their reports while the president coordinates and recommendations are made. Even the civil servants do more of actual policy formulation than the ministers, most times. BTW, I thought this Barcanista of guy said he's quitting NL not too long ago. How come he's back so quickly? Guess some ain't relevant outside of the forum as they think they are. Soldier go, soldier come... |
Ghana must go. ![]() |
uselessgoat:Insurgencies are actually supposed to be handled by the police, not the military, methinks. As for foreign invasion, that's not that common in our world today and South America happens to be less susceptible to that compared to other continents. The country's military was abolished after a civil war in 1948. If we are not to kid ourselves, many of the countries who operate a military today have no need for it. |
uselessgoat:Defend their country against what? |
uselessgoat:Yep, Costa Rica has no standing army. It abolished its military in 1948. |
What makes the US military the most efficient military in the world are its aircraft carriers. The carriers help ensure that she can deploy her troops anywhere and anytime within the shortest possible time. The Russians, on the other hand, have more nuclear war-heads than the Americans, and their kalashnikov rifles, more than any other military equipment in the world, help sustain insurgencies around the world. In all, the world needs less military. Imagine if we're all like Costa Rica... |
safarigirl:You have a point, but the the fact that his contribution to the song is in Yoruba doesn't render the comic nature of his lines impotent. |
uselessgoat:Another day, another useless comment by a goat. When will you guys finally grow up? |
Hear Reminisce in King Kong remix: Ibile, I be warrior, pe mi ni El-Kanemi, mo n gbona l'owo bi Maiduguri, nobody near me... |
Lwkmd. Na wetin consign Jesus with the throne of Ooni? Awon oniyeye gbogbo. |
