How has travelling to Maiduguri become a big deal.. . Afterall, People live in Maiduguri and are doing very fine.. . That was How channels was talking nonsense about Jos yesterday as tho d city has been destroyed by war... its all lies. Maiduguri is a cool place. I plan to visit there soon.
I've been told by those who are from there that Maiduguri itself is okay, but that it's the other towns and villages around it that are now the hotbeds.
NYSCRe: 10 Reasons Why Nysc Should Be Voluntary by Ghost01(m): 5:56pm On Aug 25, 2015
The experience was nourishing, though back then it seemed frustrating. While I agree that it should be made voluntary, we also should not forget that the NYSC scheme has played a huge role in the little integration we've had so far in our national history. But then, even basic economics shows that the programme can't be sustained for long, if they keep insisting that it should be made compulsory.

my friend stop this nigerians thing and say yorubas instead ok. nigerians dont hate igbos but yorubas do and we are fully aware of that envy. but the funniest part of the whole stuff is that igbos tend to thrive better and soar higher in an atmosphere of yoruba hate than in their support cos as usual its going to be a doublefaced support which is catastrophic.
See this Suberu here. Why will the Yorubas hate the Igbos? Have you taken your panadol today?

whats the difference betwen an assembled car and an imported car an imported car was assembled elsewhere, what local content went into this car ?can you point out 1 thing that is indigenous in this car other than the name innoson, lets stop deceiving ourselves. embarassed
Some of the components of the cars were imported while some other components were made right there in Nnewi. Besides, most of those working at the assembly plant are Nigerians. This is a leap forward. We must commend it.

Besides, what about those traders plying their trade on the road (NOTE: not roadside o, ON THE ROAD) around oja oba? When are they getting their own compensation because they too need to go! And someone should please help tell the architect of modern Ekiti that Ekiti is not limited to Ado Ewi.

lol, Simple reason: Laziness.
Take it:

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may tread me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

More from Jose Mourinho on Sky Sports "Their decision to bring on (centre-back) Martin Demichelis is an intelligent change, the sort of change I get criticised for all the time.

"Their midfield was in trouble, probably they should finish the game with nine men. In the end I have to be happy with the second half we did. That is not enough to win the game."
MCFC's midfield was in trouble? Is this man talking about the game we all saw or another version? He should keep consoling himself. Jurgen Klopp is readily available.

fx45:
You leapfrogged from Oni to Fayose(two PDP governors).... What happened to the former APC governor in between. Seems he did nothing...
Fayose started the dualisation exercise during his first tenure in office. Oni continued from where Fayose stopped with the dualisation of the Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki road. Fayemi focused his own dualisation exercise on the Ado-Ekiti metropolis, while also continuing with the dualisation of the Ado-Ifaki road. If you're conversant with Ado very well, the evidence is there for you to see.

gannod:
why not come to Ekiti instead of crying more than the bereaved. In terms of infrastructure development,Fayose is miles ahead of APC propagndists. He is a realist,he is still cleaning the mess the out gone APC created. Fayose is the architect of modern Ekiti. He virtually dualised all the roads in Ado Ekiti and the four roads leading out of Ado Ekiti compared to the less than useless Dr Fayemi.
Oni dualised the road to Ifaki, not Fayose. And you can't credit Fayose for the one leading to Ilawe either (even though the dual-carriage way didn't reach Ilawe). The one Fayose did that reaches a neighbouring town is the one that connects Ado to Ikere. Besides we are talking of the 10 months since he's been the governor in Ekiti now. Care to share the monumental projects he's initiated or commissioned since?

The APC controlled media will not report anything good about Fayose. He is loved by his people and that's the most important thing. Come to Ekiti State if you want to see the his works.

CrimeRe: Nigerian Women Turned To Sex-Slaves In Dubai by Ghost01(m): 3:33pm On Aug 15, 2015
The lady in question is an adult. She decided to become a 'peacemaker' abroad, with the consent of her mother. We can't always blame the economy, can we?

While we have to condemn the sugar mummies for these acts of theirs, we also should not lose sight of who made the choice to join in the first place.

PoliticsRe: How Governors Turn Govt Houses To Sex Havens: Punch by Ghost01(m): 8:54am On Aug 15, 2015
I think it is erroneous to refer to these ladies as "girls". Most of them are above 18, and that makes them adults. "Women" would be a better word. When you refer to them as "women", it conveys the idea that they are not being used (because I believe they aren't - they went there on their own volition).

BTW, the narration reminds one of those babes, when we dey school, wey dey always go visit their "uncles" every weekend. The hustle is real!

Icecomrade:
Awolowo was responsible for denying Igbo's monies in their account. He claimed that their outstanding balances will be investigated and subsequently returned to them. Which he never did. This was against Gowon's direct order that Igbo's should be given everything that belongs to them in the spirit R3

What did Gowon do as the head of state when the Igbo's cried back to him of the ill treatment of Awolowo?

Awolowo was thrown in jail by his own people collaborating with the North, Ojukwu facilitate his release after 3yrs. The guy with poisonous blood of betrayal flowing in his veins betrayed the trust vested in him.

This country is a thrash.
Do you actually believe the thrash you wrote? Account, in which bank?

And to say that Ojukwu facilitated the release of Awo shows just how re-wired your head is. Please, if you must post something, try and do your assignment first!

You never can tell na. Maybe the interviewer, thinking he could hit it by being the 601st before Beatrice FINALLY retires, was considering his purse. Lol.
