monfizzy: If north goes on a total lockdown like you’re envisaging you won’t see the food to eat to be able to have strength to type this. Be guided. What are you saying. there should be a lockdown in the north for effective action. Food vendors are exempted in the south, why not so in the north. Nigeria system is too one sided, always favouring the northerners living at the expense of the southerners, no wonder they don't want any restructuring or break. |

Lastly, I may not be generous but I am merciful.
Hope I have answered your question?
Thank you. I really got you and it was a brilliant point. You are funny on the generosity part. Very challenging, separating being merciful and generous. Both go together. |

MadeBoy: I'm a guy that likes my privacy reasons of my quality time to think and pray for hours. Because I face a lot of spiritual challenges. And my midnight prayers have been helping me. Most especially when I had a nightmare or anytime I woke up.
I will seal up my windows and doors while my AC is blasting high. And even when I raise up my voice it doesn't come out.
The government just extended the lockdown which is tiring. She came to my house and doesn't want to leave. I have so many debts on my head now and my yearly house rent is expiring soon. This is the period I need to be alone in prayers. The little I have now I am using it to take care of her which I would have uses for myself to prolong the suffering during this lockdown. Branch and carbon are sending me SMS to pay my loans.
My apartment is so cussing, chilling and so comfortable more than her house by far. Maybe reason she doesn't want to go. She will be disturbing me and dragging remot control with me. When I am watching TV she will just change it to nollywood drama.
I do want her to be coming and going. Not just to come and stay like she is doing now. I'm not use to this type of life unlike some of my friends.
Outside of all this, I do not see future with her just normal control things..
I have not been able to leave the house or do other personal private stuff.
I need her to go maybe coming on some weekends or when invited. Who is she to you?? |

Lack of control over the physical senses has destroyed very many men and cut short the true mission for which they were permitted by the Masters of Fate to incarnate upon the Earth. My friend, do well to flee from every indecent proposal and every appearance of unlawful pleasures. I wish you all the strength. Sounds better than what you think. But some people in that same US have lost their jobs and even frustrated. Some even applied to come back to Nigeria. uuzba: I don't understand why after have Nigerians run overseas for a better life their pomposity and ego will not allow them to stay there and mind their business.
They will start looking for ALL SOCIAL MEDIA outlets to SHOW Nigerians back home that they are better than us.
What does this useless story from the OP do for people back home here who are simply looking for money for provisions? Others are begging with their bank account?
I propose that anybody who is overseas, out of Nigeria, should be banned from any Nigerian website. If you cannot offer assistance to any Nigerian back home, get lost with your American Lockdown we don't need it You are 100% correct. I notice that too. I don't know if they are using it to console themselves because they are missing Nigeria. The thing is too much.If you travel and leave Nigeria, stop speaking bad of Nigeria. We know things are not very alright in Nigeria but please enjoy the adopted country, they will not but always interested in affairs of Nigeria even more than the people in the so called bad country. They will tell you Story of happening in Nigeria even more than you in Nigeria. I think they miss Nigeria a lot but consoling themselves. Some people that ran to Canada are silently regretting but will not make it open to avoid embarrassment. Even if I leave Nigeria tomorrow, I will simply admit that I miss the country and really wish things will be lovely so that we can enjoy our dear country. One day, God will give us a leader that will fix Nigeria and flush off all those useless old fools that put us in this predicament. |

leaculpa: This is a mishmash of videos.
In the first video, there are no shops open on that street. Were they trying to open their shop during a lockdown?
In the 2nd video, the guy mentions that they have been in isolation for 15days since they entered the country. China has a policy where every foreigner entering the country will be tested and isolated for 14days in a designated hotel. The board and feeding bill is on the foreigner. Why complain about that when it's a policy that applies to everyone, Europeans, Africans, Americans inclusive?
The 3rd video the guy is recording & goading the police officer, making threats of 'we will kill the chinese'. What exactly happened to warrant that? They might have broken a law & were being reprimanded by the police. I understand that the Chinese are clamping down on a lot of activities to curb the spread of the virus. It seemed like they desperately wanted the police to misbehave on camera in order to paint a narrative.
In all of these videos none of the nigerians are practising any social distancing & some are not wearing facemasks, even though it's law. When in Rome act like Romans and adhere to their laws. Making a collection of videos for sympathy just because things are not business as usual is looking like blackmail. I'm sure a lot of Chinese people & their businesses are also affected by the new laws. If things are hard, u can always come back to your country. You are so biased and I know it is region -based. Put yourself in their shoes and read what you wrote. If your brother calls you from China or any other country and tells you his predicament ,will you still sound same. |

Wait till China displaces USA and see how degrading you all will be treated. Chinese and their disregard for black race and Human rights is second to none. I don't see China displacing USA anytime soon. Though they are a real threat to US dominance. USA is a beast of a country in development and technology, far ahead of China. China is only being boosted by the robust economy but USA has economy and science ahead of China. Whatever China has achieved today US has done that several years ago. Besides, any country sanctioned by USA feels the impact unlike China that is at the mercy of World patronage to boost their relevance and economy. |

Politics › Re: Northern Nigeria Is 35-40% Christian (proofs) by Ginomel(m): 2:53pm On Apr 03, 2020 |
Nowenuse: Northern Christians have not been playing politics based on religion. It is northern muslims that have always been playing politics based on religion and that is why it is impossible to find a place that is muslim majority in the north and they elect a Christian as their political leader. However, times without number, Muslims are elected in places that are overwhelmingly Christian.
E.g Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu (former deputy Senate president)was elected senator for 8 years in Plateau central senatorial district.
Are you aware that Plateau central is 80% Christian?
The first senator of Taraba south (in 1999) was also a muslim, is Taraba south a muslim majority zone?
The former senator of Adamawa south was was a muslim. Is Adamawa south Muslim majority?
In the just concluded elections in Gombe south. The Christian APC candidate won the muslim PDP candidate with a very tiny margin. The last 2 house of reps representing Gombe south were muslims.
Now tell me, is Gombe south a muslim majority zone?
Christians have always been voting for muslims even in Places were muslims are a small minority, but muslims will never vote for Christians unless they are a minority in such places.
So, I repeat, only a big foool will judge Northern Nigeria's population based on the religions of their political leaders. That would only have been possible if the Christians had been playing religious politics from the beginning. However facts have shown that this is not the case. I will be very surprise if somebody is still doubting that we have more Christians than Muslims in Nigeria. Even the core northern Muslims know. the reason why they feel so inferior and fighting to ensure full domination of islam. Which is even ridiculous because it can never happen. |
