The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has opened up on the agitation for Igbo Presidency in 2023. PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said every part of Nigeria has the quality of personnel who can genuinely rule Nigeria in 2023. Speaking with DAILY POST, on the clamour for Igbo Presidency, Ologunagba noted that dialogue will squash such agitations. He said agitations would be laid to rest when Nigerians engage in dialogue. According to the PDP spokesman: “On the issue of Igbo president, the point is this, our party believes that every part of this country has the qualification, qualified persons that are genuinely patriotic to this nation. “We know that the moment we begin to talk to ourselves and reconcile, all those tendencies will start to subsume into the common goal, so that would be the approach to reconcile and bring everyone together. “You can listen to everybody’s concern, and the moment you address those concerns, all those issues will fizzle out. PDP is noted for that and has done that before, and that is why Nigerians are hoping and counting days for the party’s return to governance so that their lives can return to normal as it used to when we were in government.

Popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has claimed that the 2023 presidential ticket for the All Progressives Congress, APC will go to the South-South. Alongside the picture of Rotimi Amaechi and Godwin Emefiele, Adeyanju said the APC is considering giving its presidential ticket to an Igbo candidate. Adeyanju claimed sources in the APC told him that the camp of Asiwaju Tinubu and Yemi Osinbajo will be denied the presidential ticket for 2023. The tweet read: “APC presidential ticket is likely to go to the South-South and the advantage and both have is that they are considered to be Igbo men. “South West will not get it according to many sources in APC. The Tinubu and Osinbajo camp will weep and cry and you heard it here first.” Adeyanju added that former President Goodluck Jonathan has a greater chance of securing the presidential ticket than Tinubu. “They are going to show Tinubu’ Tinubu pepper in APC. Goodluck Jonathan has more chances of getting an APC ticket than him,” he tweeted. Recall that Governor Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State had mentioned that the APC presidential candidate will be from the Southern region. The Governor said it was left for the southern caucus of APC to decide which part of the area the presidential candidate will come from. The APC national convention is slated for March 26th.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly survived three assassination attempts since the Russian invasion began last week. The Times reported that two different assassination groups were sent to kill the Ukrainian President - the Wagner group and Chechen rebels. According to The Washington Post, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) alerted the Ukrainians about a unit of Kadyrovites - elite Chechen special forces - sent to kill Zelensky. It quoted Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, as saying that these units were "destroyed". "And I can say that we have received information from the FSB, who today do not want to take part in this bloody war," Danilov told The Post. Zelensky has said intel suggested that he was marked by the Russians as "enemy number 1." Zelensky warned in a video message, "(The) enemy has marked me down as the number one target. My family is the number two target." "I will stay in the capital. My family is also in Ukraine." Asked if he was worried about Zelensky's safety, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CBS: "To the best of my knowledge, President Zelensky remains in Ukraine at his post, and of course we're concerned for the safety of all of our friends in Ukraine - government officials and others."

Northern Youths To Recruit 2.7million Volunteers To Fight Kidnapping, Terrorism In The North. Northern youths, under the auspices of Arewa Youths Consultative Council, AYCC, have begun orientation and recruitments of over 2,750,000 youths across the 19 northern states to help end the rising spate of kidnapping, banditry and Boko Haram insurgency which ravages the region over the years. AYCC national president, Zaid Ayuba, who disclosed this during the 2021 National Youth Conference, held at Mambayya House, Kano, on Saturday, said about 137,500 youths would be drawn from each 19 northern states, including Abuja. According to him, AYCC has concluded plans to engage 1,145 youths every month and 13,750 youths every year, who would be trained to acquire security training, including basics on community policing, with a view to helping security agencies in the ongoing fight against banditry, kidnapping and insurgency. He noted that the current security challenges in the north have negatively affected socio-economic development of the region. The programme, according to him, is expected to be carried out under “Sustainable Security Project for 19 Northern States (Project SUSPRONS 2021-2031), adding that it would run for a period of 10 years. Mr Ayuba listed the objectives of Project SUSPRONS 2021-2031 to include engagement and sensitization of youths as critical stakeholders to bringing to an end the spate of kidnapping, banditry and Boko Haram insurgency in the North. He added that the project is also designed “to build the capacity of women to actively play their role as mothers and to empower them in countering violent extremism and radicalization. The AYCC president further stated that the project also has a vision “to establish a permanent and reliable avenue for engagement and sensitization of young people across the 19 northern states on the implementation of youth’s strategy in community policing and other security conscious efforts in order to effectively tackle the rising problems of insecurity in our region and Nigeria.” The chairman of the occasion, who is the vice chancellor of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano, Prof. Mukhtar Kurawa, in his remarks, urged northern youths to wake up to challenges of saving the region from the problems occasioned by insecurity. In his keynote address, the managing director of Dala Inland Dry Port, Ahmad Rabi’u, reminded the youths of how former Nigerian leaders made waves and positive impacts in the region and the country in their early days as youths. He urged the youth to get inspired and motivated through the legacies of those leaders.

Victory for Igboho as court awards N20b damages against FG • Afenifere, YCE, Yoruba Ronu, Hail Judgment An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan, yesterday, granted a relief sought by the Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho and ordered the Federal Government to pay him N20 billion for breaching his fundamental rights. The court also dismissed an application filed by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, challenging its jurisdiction to hear allegations against Federal Government agencies. Igboho had sued the AGF, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the director of the DSS in Oyo State, demanding N500 billion in damages over the raid on his Ibadan home on July 1, this year. He also sought an order of the court directing the respondents to return all the items seized from his house. He listed the items to include N2 million cash, travel documents, gold jewelry, wristwatches, two mobile phones and other items yet unknown but which were allegedly carted away by the DSS. Two persons were said to have been killed while 12 others were arrested following the raid. Counsel to the AGF, Abubakar Abdullahi, had filed an application challenging the jurisdiction of a state High Court to hear matters pertaining to the activities of the federal agencies. However, delivering judgment in the suit, Justice Justice Ladiran Akintola, declared that the raid carried out by the Department of State Service (DSS) on Igboho’s residence in Ibadan was illegal. Citing several judgments by the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal with regard to the jurisdiction of the state High Court to hear such cases, Justice Akintola ruled that the court had jurisdiction to hear the case. He declared that the invasion of the house of the applicant violated his fundamental human rights as stipulated in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended. “Unfortunately, this court is not a Father Christmas and cannot award the sum of N500 billion as requested by the applicant, but the court retrained the respondent from arresting or harassing the applicant. “He has right to his free movement as contained in Section 35.1 (a)(b) of the 1999 Constitution as amended,” he ruled. Justice Akintola also said that if the identities of the individual operatives of the DSS were determined, they would have been liable to pay the damages and not the Federal Government. Meanwhile, Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) and Yoruba Ronu Leadership Forum (YRLP) both commended the judgment, saying it would serve as a deterrent to power monger security officers whose trait was to abuse authority and violate the fundamental human rights of citizens. In separate reactions to the judgment, General Secretary, YCE, Dr. Kunle Olajide, said it was absolutely unfortunate that blood tasty security officials raided Igboho’s house in the dead of the night especially when no charges had been made against him. “Before then, Igboho’s protests were peaceful. There was no justification for DSS officials to have raided his house, destroyed properties and even murdered innocent lives,” Olajide said. He stated that aside from the fine, the Federal Government should take a step further to investigate the officers that raided the house. President of Yoruba Ronu, Akin Malaolu, said the judgment was a confirmation that the action of the DSS was not only rascally but also illegal and unlawful. He said it would serve as a deterrent to other security agents not to trample on the fundamental human rights of Nigerians. “I salute the courage of the judge and as well congratulate Igboho,” he said. On his part, the National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Jare Ajayi, said the verdict has “once again established the court of law as the place to run to when one’s rights are infringed upon.” According to him, “there are various layers of the verdict that we must pay proper attention.” Ajayi added: “Firstly, the office of the Attorney General of the Federation needs to be reminded that we are running a federation. As such, a citizen has a right to seek redress in a State High Court when his or her rights are violated. If it is only the Federal High Court that can entertain cases involving federal agencies, at least two jeopardies would be dangling on the heads of the citizens. The first is that the spirit of our Constitution, which underlines federalism, would be under constant attacks. “The second is that impunity would be institutionalised as federal agencies would be committing atrocities with the mindset of being protected by federal courts since they are also federal agencies.” Ajayi lauded Justice Akintola for reaffirming citizens’ right to liberty as guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution. He called on the Federal Government and the DSS not only to respect the judgment but to also comply with it by paying the ₦20 billion awarded as well as stopping the harassment of Sunday Adeyemo Igboho and his associates. He also urged governments at all levels to see the judgment as a wake up call on them to always respect the rights of Nigerians.

Controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has advocated a ministry for herders in Nigeria. Gumi, known for his interaction with bandits in the North, said the Federal Government should create a Ministry of Nomadic Affairs. He said the ministry would address the challenges surrounding herders. The post reads partly: “I said my mission has not failed but it was sabotaged or discouraged by the same influential people that benefit from the chaos or like us to destroy ourselves and leave the herdsmen in perpetual ignorance. “Some said we have tried amnesty, but it didn’t work. You didn’t try amnesty but tried amnesia. Amnesty without rehabilitation, reconciliation, and reparation is no amnesty. “Ask the former Niger Delta militants who killed security men in the past what an amnesty is. What stops us from having a Federal Ministry of Nomadic Affairs where their grievances and complaints will be addressed?”

SSS officers open fire at recruitment centre, chase away doctors seeking job to Saudi Arabia The interviews had been scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and many of the doctors had been arriving at the venue as of 5:30 a.m., a doctor said. Armed operatives of the State Security Service on Thursday opened fire outside Sheraton Hotel in Abuja to disperse Nigerian doctors who were arriving for an interview for medical positions in Saudi Arabia, witnesses told Peoples Gazette. At least one person was injured and had been moved to a hospital in Mabushi neighbourhood of the Nigerian capital, The Gazette learnt. The secret police officers mounted a barricade outside the hotel to block people seeking to enter through Abacha Estate, according to one of the doctors who identified himself as Doctor Olubanjo in a telephone chat with The Gazette. “The officers tried to block us from entering Sheraton but some of us insisted that we were on our way for an interview organised by the Saudi government,” Mr Olubanjo said. “But we were forcibly chased away when the officers started shooting into the air to disperse us with threats that they will kill us and no one would punish them.” The programme was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and many of them had been arriving at the venue as of 5:30 a.m., he said. Mr Olubanjo said the organisers later told them the interview had been suspended but wondered why that became the case when a similar exercise held last week at a hotel in Lagos. A spokesman for the SSS did not return a request seeking comments. A telephone line for Sheraton in Abuja did not connect on Friday morning. Nigerian medical professionals have been on a desperate bid to leave the country following years of incessant strikes over low remuneration and generally poor welfare. They have been moving to Europe, Canada, Saudi Arabia and other countries where they hoped to get better training and practice. It was not immediately clear why the SSS was sent to truncate yesterday’s interviews, which came barely a week after Nigerian labour minister Chris Ngige insisted that the country was not in short supply of medical doctors. The minister said the widespread claims of brain drain in the country’s medical sector was false and should be disregarded.

A gubernatorial aspirant in the upcoming 2023 general elections is in hot water for celebrating The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan. Muaz Magaji, a former commissioner in Kano state, was called out by Journalist, Aliyu Dahiru Aliyu on Twitter over his statement. Aliyu tweeted; “Here is a screenshot of a Facebook post from a politician aspiring to be an APC gubernatorial candidate in 2023, celebrating Taliban take over in Afghanistan. Save this before he starts blaming youthful exuberance for supporting extremists as if he is less than 50 years old today.” “When I said some politicians are supporting extremists because they are only thinking of how to win the next election, these kinds of politicians were on my mind. They join radicals in manipulating the minds of people by showing them as if extremism is solution to their woes.

IPOB: British Commission, UK Law Firm Moves To Take Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Case. The British High Commission and a law firm in London, Bindmans, have sought the consent of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to take up his case. According to Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, the recent development would open up a new chapter in the trial of Kanu, adding that the Nigerian government would be served with the summons to bring him to the United Kingdom, where another case would be heard over the manner of his rendition to Nigeria. Ejimakor said, “I went to visit him on Wednesday and went with two forms. One was the consular consent form that the British High Commission required that he signs to consent to consular assistance. “There was also a form from his counsel in the UK. The firm is known as Bindmans, one of the largest law firms in the UK. “The forms will open a whole new chapter of legality, including the filing of a Writ of Mandamus, against the Nigerian government in a UK court to compel it to produce Kanu, because his detention is illegal under the British law. “It was an extraordinary rendition, which is an international crime by which a state kidnaps a suspect or a fugitive without the due process of law. “They will be filing all these processes in the UK and there is a prospect of a UK court assuming universal jurisdiction or extraterritorial jurisdiction and reaching into Kenya so that they can arrest every Kenyan official, either authorised or not and every Nigerian official involved in this case.” The lawyer noted that the DSS collected the forms, saying they will first run them through the vetting of the DSS legal unit, adding that despite being told that he would collect them on Thursday, he had yet to be contacted by the government agency. Ejimakor said during his three-hour meeting, the IPOB leader gave a vivid account of how the Nigerian government hired agents, who abducted and flew him into the country. He said the IPOB leader was blindfolded and flown on a private jet without any extradition hearing or immigration process. He stated, “Kanu said he was flown to Abuja in a private jet on Sunday, June 27, 2021, from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, and that he was the lone passenger. “He was blindfolded and driven to the tarmac very close to the plane without passing through the airport immigration. The plane departed Nairobi around 12pm and arrived in Abuja in the evening. “Kanu was tortured and subjected to untold cruel and inhuman treatment in Kenya. He said his abductors disclosed to him that they abducted him at the behest of the Nigerian government. “The people that abducted him said they were told by their sponsors that Kanu was a Nigerian terrorist linked to Islamic terrorists in Kenya, presumably Al-Shabab. But after several days when they discovered his true identity, they tended to treat him less badly. “Despite that, they told him they felt committed to hand him over to those that hired them. “According to Kanu, no warrant of arrest was shown to him or even mentioned to him. And for the eight days, he was held incommunicado, nothing of presenting him before a court or transferring him to an official detention facility was ever mentioned. He was held in a nondescript private facility and chained to a bare floor. “Kanu was interviewed for the first time in my presence by three DSS officers. The interview was revealing as it contained certain new allegations that were never heard of before. But all the questions relate directly or indirectly to his status as the leader of IPOB.

Insecurity: Army, police officers aiding bandits with weapons, drugs – Gumi insists Controversial Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, on Thursday, insisted that some police and Army officers are aiding banditry in Nigeria. Gumi alleged that some security operatives are selling weapons to bandits and also into drugs distribution. Speaking exclusively with DAILY POST, the Islamic scholar urged the Army and the police hierarchy to identify and flush out the bad eggs. He also claimed that some security agents aided the bandits by collecting bribe from them. According to Gumi: “I know we have bad elements in the security and I think it’s high time that those found to be taking bribe, aiding banditry by selling weapons should be flushed out of the security system. “Actually in Zamfara, there are some bad elements in the security but not all of them. A few percentage in our security are using the privilege advantage they have to aide bandits in gun running, drug distributions. “So, I’m calling on the military and the police to reign in on their men and flush out the bad ones.” Recall that Gumi had accused the military of colluding with bandits in their operations. But, the Nigerian Army had dismissed such claim by Gumi. Lately, the activities of banditry has been on the rise across the country. Bandits have been attacking, abducting and killing students in the Northern part of the country. Last week Thursday, DAILY POST had reported that some bandits abducted students and teachers of the Federal Government College in Birnin-Yauri, Kebbi State. Nigeria will regret if Pantami is sacked – Sheikh Gumi warns The bandits killed a police officer before whisking the four staff and an unspecified number of students to an unknown location. One of the students abducted from the school was shot dead during a gun duel between soldiers and the abductors. But, the Nigerian Army had disclosed that five of the abducted students and two teachers of the college have been rescued.

The South East Chairman of Miyetti-Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Gidado Siddiki, has rejected the ban on open grazing in the region by the Southern governors. According to Siddiki, the ban will remain ineffective until an alternative to open grazing is provided for the herders. The herdsmen leader revealed that the government has not provided ranching for them as an alternative in conducting their business. Siddiki said: “Our position is that we are not opposed to the ban on open grazing, but at least we need an alternative. “You know when somebody is doing business and you stop him from doing that business, he would be given an alternative on what to do. “When you say that you have banned open grazing, you need to tell us how we should graze our cows because what we know is grazing. If there is an alternative, there is no problem, and that is the only thing we are begging for. “The governors should tell us because when you want to enact a law on somebody, you have to call him so that you can tell him what he can do and you and that person will put heads together before you can do that law. “Now that they are doing a public hearing on constitution review, they are collecting opinions, they should come up with it if they want to ban open grazing so that all of us will put our heads together. If open grazing is bringing problems, let us find ways we can coexist.” Reminded that ranching has been proposed as an option to open grazing, Siddiki queried, “Is there any provision for that ranching? “If there is provision for ranching, we can do ranching but I don’t think there is provision for ranching. Even in Benue State that said it has banned open grazing and will do ranching, I don’t think there has been any ranching in Benue State in all these years. “So, I don’t know if there is the provision and that is our own problem. We were not given a chance to go for the Constitution review public hearing, we went there but nobody gave us an audience to talk to. We did not submit a petition

• NADECO Group urges N’ Assembly to begin impeachment process against the president The umbrella body of pro-democracy groups in Nigeria, the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), has formally written a ‘Save our Souls’ letter to the United Nations (UN), asking the international body to prevent the collapse of the country. The letter made available to the media, yesterday, and signed by NADECO’s General Secretary/Spokesman, Mr. Ayo Opadokun, was a reference to the one earlier written to President Muhammadu Buhari and entitled: ‘Re-Open Letter to President Muhammadu Buhari about the Unacceptable Deterioration of National Security and Political Stability Under Your Watch’. It reads: “We, the National Democratic Coalition, on behalf of Nigeria write to formally request you to use your good offices to take immediate and concrete steps to halt the fast deterioration of national security and political stability in Nigeria.” It states: “Nigeria’s current situation is so deplorable because of the imposed centralist and unitary 1999 Constitution, which was manufactured by a military clique and imposed upon us. Ethnic nationalities who were the building blocks upon which the British colonialist constructed Nigeria had clamoured, appealed and cautioned the sectional military wing ruling Nigeria (foisting former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan) as surrogates, for Nigeria to return to a federal constitution upon which Nigeria secured its independence in 1960 but their interventions had always been met with disdain and provocative responses. Nigerians have never accepted the suspension, and abrogation of the negotiated Independence Constitution.” The coalition told the international body that all ethnic nationalities, as contained in the attached open letter to President Buhari, could no longer accept to be treated as slaves and inferior citizens in this British contrived political space. This came as Christian clerics and members of the Centre for Justice, Religion and Ethnicity (CJRE) called on the National Assembly to commence an impeachment process against President Muhammadu Buhari to save Nigeria from the crisis. Addressing journalists in Kaduna, yesterday, the Director-General of CJRE, Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa warned: “If the National Assembly refuses to impeach President Buhari, he will lead Nigeria to another war. For the lawmakers to save the nation, they should commence impeachment process against him and save the country now.” |

Daily Post Nigeria NEWS Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has reacted to a recent reconciliation plea made to Boko Haram and Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) by the Nigerian Army. The army had called on the terrorists to put down their weapons and embrace peace, saying an end to the war is in sight. The call for reconciliation was made by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Abdulwahad Eyitayo at a party organised for journalists by the Army in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Sunday. Eyitayo said that no one, including the military, was happy with the bloodshed, calling on the remnants of the terrorist organisation to take advantage of the amnesty and repent without further delay. Eyitayo said, “We are not here for bloodletting, no one is happy that people are dying. Some of them (the insurgents) listen to the media, so it is good for us to appeal to them through the media to avoid violence, come forward to ask for forgiveness and reconciliation.” Nnamdi Kanu lamented that the terrorists would be rehabilitated, recruited into the army and posted to the South. Kanu tweeted, “Nigerian Army BEGS Boko Haram, ISWAP terrorists for reconciliation. “And after reconciliation, they will be rehabilitated, recruited into the Army & sent to the South to ‘shoot to kill’. Now you see why I keep calling it a TERRORIST army.” A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, had earlier reacted to the development, expressing shock at the army’s decision to demand reconciliation with members of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists. “Nigerian Army BEGS Boko Haram, ISWAP terrorists for reconciliation. “Since when has the Nigerian Army resorted to begging murderers, killers and terrorists? How have the mighty fallen!” he tweeted. More than 30,000 Nigerians have been killed while over three million are displaced in the North East by Boko Haram terrorists. The terrorist organisation also has many Nigerians held in their custody. On April 14, 2014, a total of 276 schoolgirls were kidnapped from their school in Chibok. With 164 reunited to their families, 112 are still in captivity and many of them reportedly married off by the terrorists. Also, on February 19, 2018, 110 schoolgirls of 11-19 years old were kidnapped from Government Girls’ Science Secondary School in Dapchi, Bulabutin, Yunusari Local Government Area of Yobe State. Five of the girls died on the same day and all others were released in March 2018 except Leah Sharibu, a Christian girl who refused to renounce her faith.

Twitter refused FG’s request to delete Nnamdi Kanu’s account -Lai Mohammed The Federal Government has said that Twitter rejected its demand to delete the account of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, made this known on “Politics Nationwide,’’ a Radio Nigeria call-in programme. He said it was unfair to conclude that Twitter was suspended in the country because President Muhammadu Buhari’s message was deleted. He accused Twitter of consistently offering its platform to promote agenda that were inimical to the corporate existence of Nigeria, adding that the government was unambiguous that the action was taken because the platform was being used to promote the views of those who wanted to destabilise the clime. “Twitter has become a platform of choice for a particular separatist promoter. “The promoter consistently used the platform to direct his loyalists to kill Nigerian soldiers and policemen, run-down INEC offices and destroy all symbols of Nigeria’s sovereignty. “Every attempt to persuade Twitter to deny its platform to this separatist leader was not taken serious,’’ he said. Recall that Twitter had last week deleted a tweet by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Nnamdi Kanu had vowed that any soldier sent to the Southeast by the Nigerian Government will die.

Biafra: You defrauded me N20m – Nnamdi Kanu fires back at Asari Dokubo Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has accused Asari Dokubo, former militant leader of defrauding him N20m. Kanu made the allegation in response to Dokubo’s recent verbal attacks on him. In a chat, Kanu charged Dokubo to stay off Biafra agitation and concentrate on being a pipeline security guard. Asari had recently vowed to bring down Kanu, whom he described as “evil.” In his latest video, the ex-militant warlord had accused Kanu of standing against the restoration of Biafra. The ex-militant leader had also accused Kanu of being a thief using the agitation for Biafra as a business. Dokubo had said: “I am out for you. And I will get you. I just asked that our people be allowed to vote and you sent your dogs. I’ve broken their teeth. “Nnamdi Kanu, I’m not in your category but for this, I will surely bring you down. I will destroy this evil empire that is working as a hindrance to the restoration of Biafra.” Dokubo has been against the IPOB leader following a fallout between them. The rift between the former Niger Delta warlord and Kanu is believed to be due to ideological differences regarding the agitation for Biafra. Following their fall out, Dokubo had created the Biafra Customary Government (BCG). Reacting, Kanu wrote: “Tell him I don’t even react to a mask wearing Buhari imposter talk less of a hungry filthy pig that conned me of 20M Naira. “When world leaders or respected commentators talk about Biafra, I respond. I can’t dignify a petty pipeline security guard with a response. He should focus on his business ventures and leave freedom fighting to freedom fighters. “For a man of his bloated stature to belatedly realise that his father is Fulani, tells you all you need to know about him.

Nnamdi Kanu Mock Navy For Moving Institute To Kano instead of fighting from the sea. "For 60 whole years, no stable electricity, no running water, cows roaming the streets, now NAVY in the desert". Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has mocked the Nigerian Navy for deciding to move to Kano instead of fighting from the sea. DAILY POST understands that the role of the navy is characterised by threat or use of force at and/or from the sea. The navy applies maritime power in offensive operations against enemy forces, territory and trade, among others. Kanu wondered how the navy, trained to combat enemies from the sea, would now end up in the desert, adding that one of the worst calamities ever to befall any man, is to be born a Nigerian. The Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, had in the wake of spread of bandits and other criminal groups across Northwest Nigeria, agreed to move the Desert Warfare Institute to Kano. This was disclosed by Rear Admiral COR Ezekobe, Chief of Policy and Plans, Nigerian Navy, when he led a delegation to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at his office in Kano on Wednesday to brief him about the development. “TRUTH remains that one of the worst calamities ever to befall any man or beast, is to be born a #Nigerian,” he tweeted. “For 60 whole years, no stable electricity, no running water, cows roaming the streets, now NAVY in the desert. Speaking further, the IPOB leader said that Nigeria will soon topple Afghanistan and Iraq to become the highest ranked in world’s terrorism index. Kanu, while reacting to the latest Global Terrorism Index, added, “NIGERIA now ranks 3rd amongst nations most impacted by terror, behind only Afghanistan and Iraq. “With the military buildup in the East and its dalliance with terrorists, it won’t be long before Fulani-Nigeria take the No. 1 position
