Dreams are real places and events, starring alternate versions of you. You can cross over from here (the real world), into a dream world, and when you wake up, you wake-up in the dreamworld, but to you, it becomes here, (the real world). NairaOcean: I am not an overly religious person. People always say Africans are too religious or that they pray too much. However, over the years of my life, I have witnessed things that make me question spiritual reality or things that affirm why Africans are so religious or why they pray so much. Let me share some of what I have witnessed, not just hearsay.
THE EVIL PART:
(1). In 2011, I knew a friend who was in his final year in school when, just before his exams, he had a dream where he saw his burial poster pasted everywhere. A few days before the exams, he fell seriously ill, and all medical treatments for his sickness proved abortive. A few weeks later, he was pronounced dead. This dude was so intelligent.
(2). I know of someone who was slapped by a strange being in a dream and woke up physically paralyzed until his death.
(3). A dog bit a woman in her dream, and a few days later, a physical wound/sore broke out at the exact spot the strange dog had bitten her. Of course, all medical treatments proved abortive.
(4). A boy had a dream where he saw his brain being harvested. A few days later, he ran mad.
THE GOOD PART:
(1). A man who was bedridden for years, after prayers were offered on his behalf, had a dream where he saw a group of doctors performing surgeries on him. He woke up physically sound, to the amazement of everybody.
(2). A man was given a bundle of dollar notes in his dream, and the giver told him, "Take this money; it will change your life." A few months later, he stumbled into millions he couldn't explain. This was after serious prayers for a breakthrough.
(3). I know a guy very well who went to a spiritualist for financial cleansing. A few weeks later, he stumbled into millions (though I'm not in support of voodoo). His life changed; however, his wealth is tied to certain rules and sacrifices.
(4). There's a certain man abroad who intentionally refuses to visit home (Nigeria) since his family wanted him badly. They did some spiritual work on him/his photo, which caused the man to fly back to Nigeria immediately the next day, without even informing his children and wife. Up until today, he can't explain how that happened.
(5). A lady dreamt of receiving a bunch of keys from her deceased dad, and her life was never the same (positively). This was after serious prayers when things weren't working out for her.
(6). I have witnessed someone being shot and hacked with an axe, yet it didn't penetrate... how come?
So, my question now is, if spirituality, voodoo, witchcraft, or even prayers don't work or aren't real, how can these occurrences happen? Because I witnessed all of this and many more throughout my lifetime. |

This is here, is uncommon sense. The pack mentality of Nigerians online is alarming. Little to no critical thinking skills, just joyfully piling behind any popular movement. Asonaijaaso: When the Boeing worker went online to blow whistle that 737 Max was a death trap. He was found dead the next day.
Nigeria is even taking her to court, no one is killing anyone.
Dont let the western media scatter Nigeria, these guys are more corrupt than we are,
Nigeria should learn a lesson from this, set up a NAFDAC and Consumer protection Bureau to handle claims.
We need businesses and sometimes people are mischievous, it could have been Erisco's competition setting him up. Erisco spent billions to set up a tomato processing plant probably also took on big loans. There are people whose rent, school fees, livelihood depend on Erisco. So for one person to defame/slander their business overnight is not good either. For those who do business, we all know there is a period you are very fragile while building your brand.
The case should be settled, Chioma should be made to prove her allegations, if she cant she should be charged for slander and loss od revenue to Erisco.
Both parties deserve fair treatment. |

Look, just make a plan for old age. A child is no guarantee that you would be cared for. A good insurance health plan would negate the need for "someone to take care of you". Focus on the things you have control over: like living a healthy-life with a view in mind of staying active into old-age, continuously making new friends from all ages so that you fulfil the need to companionship (or join a club, church or charity) Make plans for your own burial expenses ahead of time. Worst case, you can travel to countries that allow euthanasia if you ever tired. Your life, your choice. Bullfallo: Not wanting to have a child isn’t a choice per say. I hate to put myself into pressure or do things just because others are doing it, my lifestyle has always be different from public opinion. In fact opposite of the popular views or majority behavior. I don’t send or give a Bleep what anyone think about me.
Example is that people live there live on public opinion. They create a life of public presentations just to please public and get validated but i am not of public views. I do my things the way it pleases before considering public.
If I have billions of dollars like dangote the choice might have been different. I don’t live a life of faith. I must have concrate evidence of things or resources before i made any vita decisions. I hate to borrow or beg. I live a life of comfort. I am rich and comfortable but not for many mouths. Because I don’t want to adjust resources from my lifestyle |

How old are you now? Klass99: When I first felt the desire to be child free and not have children I was in my 20s. Several people told me the feeling would change or I would change my mind as time goes by.
As the years went by my desire didn't wane neither did my mind change. The desire only grew stronger and my mind more convinced that motherhood is not for me.
I have no regrets so far and I don't see myself regretting the choice. Home ownership and companionship with a good man, matter to me more than biological children do. |

You will end up becoming the enemy. Unless the relationship is reaaaally close and the man is wise and mature. Some men will tell their wife that “so and so said…” and just like that, you have two enemies. Minding your business is wisdom. Wawelexy: https://www.nairaland.com/8040185/friends-first-son-doesnt-look
The comments some people are making in the thread above really amazed me, and makes me wonder if some nairalander really make use of their brain.
Even if it's ordinary skin colour that looks weird or questionable among your kids, my broda quickly opt for a DNA test.
And please don't mind your business when you noticed something like that too with a sibling or very close friends, advice them too. Women are devilish... We can't keep losing our men to heart attack which could be avoided.
You see something, say something... Provided you are really close to them.

Goldenfinger5: The first attempt at discussing with my wife about the possibility of marrying her elder sister's daughter as my second wife into the family just passed the first reading. Romance › Re: Do Nigeria Girls Spend On Guys? by GodHimself(m): 2:39pm On Mar 24, 2024 |
Yes. They also keep a mental record of what they e spent. dalitigator: Recently, Nigerian ladies have been discussing the monetization of relationships in Nigeria. Hence, most Nigerian men now prefer to marry ladies from outside the country.
The general notion is that men are designed to spend on Nigerian ladies while the ladies only bring sex to the table without more.
This brings me to my question. Are there Nigerian ladies who date guys who are way poorer than them and will gladly spend money on them and change their lives of these guys? |
