HERE'S MY EXPERIENCE :
I used to work in a place at first i was quiet and caring till a bully came and taught me a lesson. I copied all his acts and pasted it on him and that was it. I would always mock him whenever he makes a little mistake, i would tease him when passing him, i would say bad things about him in his absent to other colleagues, i made friends with everyone so they likes me and would side me anyday. I tried setting him up in front of the camera so that if hit me i will swiftly report to the hr and that's instant sacking. When he got tired and weak he stopped bullying me because obviously i was the predator here no longer him.
There was a girl i liked at work also but then i used to be a gentleman, very caring and would speak calmly to her, gave her green light here and there popped the question only to get a BIG NO. She pretended like I never existed Then i changed, i got proud and over confident and was smiling with everyone in the office including my female boss, one minute teasing people, the next minute flirting next minute i don't care attitude, next thing again smiling and playing. I would make inappropriate dirty sexual jokes on her about the bum bum and stuffs, some colleagues would feel disgusted. I was the one pretending she doesn't exist now. You know those kinds of jokes that humiliates someone is what i indulge in most of the time in the presence of everyone and she would feel clearly hurt but i still take out the time sometimes offer my shoulder and pretend to care. Now she's the one interested in me, always smiling at me even when i am not talking to her, asking me for cues or work related stuffs, now my name is always in her mouth. Im clearly having fun humiliating and to the detriment of others but somehow i don't care anymore, everyone's loving it. That's the way of the average Nigerian person. We have good churches, but what made me reduce going to one of my church branches close to my house is that if the pastor anoints me, it leads to problems, which I will have to pray or engage on one or more spiritual exercise to destroy such. I remember when another pastor came to same branch and anointed me, same thing.
My church generally is a good church, but they should look critically on pastors laying hands or anointing people. Some of these pastors may be unclean or diabolic, and they may be hiding under a good church. It is better members anoint themselves and only trusted pastors with good testimonies should lay hands or anoint people.

So I currently live in a "boys quarter" apartment where I share toilet with about 13 other neighbors living in the face me face you plus the rest of the BQ tenants.
The good side of the house The house is just about 2 minutes from the main road (trek able) so I don't spend anything on TFare when I'm going to the bus stop. The area also has about 23hrs of power supply which is very rare to find in some other places in Lagos.
All of which are important because I work hybrid and electricity and transportation are major expenses for anyone in Lagos .
The bad side of the house I share bathroom and toilet with about 13 other neighbors living in the face me face you plus the rest of the BQ tenants and the toilet is at the far extreme of the house. I pay someone each time it's my turn to clean the toilet and sweep.
I also share prepaid meter with everybody (about 15 plus shops) which causes issues whenever we need to buy units and all. The house has a rule of always switching off the light during the day and putting it on at night by 8pm which means if I have to use light during the day, I either buy additional unit (which the whole house will use because I can't use it alone - no personal switch) or turn on my generator. No water in the compound so I have to pay someone to help me with fetching water or I carry bucket The neighbors are one of the most bitter people I've ever seen, but the landlord doesn't stay with us I pay about 7,500 monthly on electricity based on this arrangement.
The situation
I plan on renting a room self contain (budget 300k max) around the area but I couldn't find any, other places are either too far, not enough power supply, shared prepaid meter, or even sub par apartment for high price.
So as an alternative, I'm thinking about liaising with the landlord to renovate my apartment, get a personal prepaid meter and also channel water from around the neighborhood. The budget which shouldn't exceed 200k.
