Mind you, your sister might be the weight holding him back. Once you cause a breakup, the guy may start prospering, and then you become the enemy in your sister’s eyes.
Leave well enough alone.
lacapine: Please house help me. My sister has been in a relationship with a guy for the past 10 years and the relationship is sexual. The boy is 37 while she is 34. The boy keeps claiming he doesn't have money to marry her, my sister will say why am I pushing marriage, will I give them money to sustain the home? I have called the guy and asked him questions and he said if I have 100k, I should give him, so they can marry. Abeg how do I handle this issue?
My sister works but she is always broke. The guy is an artist who does art work but sales is poor. Not that I ever knew when sales was good.
Broveens42: It's almost becoming a norm in Owerri where Landlords upgrade their buildings or face rejection. But what surprises most, is the way imolites are building their personal houses everyday, especially at the outskirts of the city center. I did an interview the last time on project sites, I was quite surprised most were civil servants whose children were still in school. Some were retirees who had started their projects when they were in active service. Imolites who stay abroad also build houses in Owerri, even when they do have magnificent structures in their villages; maybe hotel bills are becoming more expensive and could play a major role, or some do such for luxury and relaxation from frequent visitation of villagers/kinsmen.
People are becoming more of landlords than tenants in Owerri

NairaOcean: In a joyous celebration of love and commitment, popular gospel artiste Moses Bliss exchanged vows today in a private civil wedding ceremony. The event, which took place on February 27, was attended by close family and friends of the couple.
Photos from the intimate affair reveal the beaming couple, Moses Bliss and his now-wife, standing side by side, radiating happiness. The bride looked stunning in an elegant white gown, while the groom was dashing in a classic black suit.

adioolayi: Everything is not opposition...deep down, you know what the past government did was to issue a white paper on Orosanye's report....non implemented it.
Atleast, wait and see if Tinubu will implement or not...what we have seen now is not issuing of white paper..but a clear directive to implement
Lumarstone: To what an end? Of what impact does that his brave decisions have on Nigerians as at today 26/2/2024? Please never you try to defend leadership failure at it's peak. Is this how oversea first class account scholar handle economy of a nation like ours?
This man has made former PMB led immediate past Government to be a saint.

Localemperor: Any time I see all this teenagers of nowadays being unnecessary difficult and naughty, imagine a girl of fifty telling how ineffective postinor 2 has become or a boy of 16 who is always high on hard drugs.
During my teenage age ( secondary school) I was hawking corn for my Mom, I had a lot of responsibilities despite not being the first child. I can't remember teenagers that are this wasteful during my time.
Always glad to see men take an evidence-based approach to decisions about marriage.
Say no to societal pressure.
Take it a step further and speak with divorced men, happily married men, and single men, never married, aged 50-70.
Interview both the rich and the poor and then take your final decision based on your conclusions.
Mikuni: When I look at the married men around me, I no longer see the need of having a wife.
I discovered something shocking, a few months ago:
Most men die before their wives, and most likely before their children finish university education. Look at your dad's friends, how many of them are still alive to enjoy the fruits of their parental labour?
Before marriage, you go through a lot of stress in choosing the right woman (God help you, if she's not greedy and demanding) you spend a fortune on marriage, only to be 'eating' one type of food till you die. If you're not careful, you go beg for sex tire. You think I'm lying? Ask my neighbor who begs to put the tip of his toothpick inside his wife for just a minute.
Now, you're married, you must provide for the rent, bills, school fees, in-law expenses etc You must not forget to keep extra savings for health issues for cases like complications in child delivery, antenatal care, naming ceremony, baby materials, clothings etc
If you're unlucky to find yourself in financial difficulty after marriage, pray your wife is the understanding type, else you'd deal with a nagging woman, the type King Solomon told us to avoid staying in the same house with, and rather hide on your rooftop.
If your woman is easily driven to anger, and not rational in thinking, you're in serious trouble. You may end up being stabbed or poisoned. A lot of men have died this way.
So dear men, why waste your time and money? Be smart!
I leave you with this Bible passage: "Wealth and riches are inherited from parents, but a good wife comes only from the Lord."
Gistmedia10: In a recent video, actor Kunle Afolayan and his daughter are seen dancing in a manner that has stirred up a heated debate. Many viewers believe the dance was inappropriate, with some suggesting it resembled a romantic dance rather than a father-daughter moment.
Is it appropriate for a father and daughter to dance this way?
Righteousness2: People should be mindful of what they do. The devil is out to snatch souls to hell through every available means.
Standing with ISRAEL not Political. It is BIBLICAL. Standing with ISRAEL is standing with GOD ALMIGHTY. It does not matter who says what or who makes noise here and there.
ISRAEL is GOD signet on the Face of the Earth. Fighthing against ISRAEL is Fighting against GOD. You will end up killing yourself.
IntelChief: Met this gril recently, so beautiful it was almost like a miracle she accepted we date.
After some time she started coming over to my place and she is a very good cook and house keeper too.
She turns out be quite good too in the other room. But I observed one single and unpleasant fault in her. Her down there stinks like hell. At the beginning I thought it was because of her monthly visitor that makes it stink. But it turns out that it smalls like that all the time, a rotten fish kind of smell.
To make matters worse, she now want me to go down there with my mouth. I really cannot do that to be frank. I've been stylishly avoiding it (sooner or later she will observe that)
I seriously dont know if I should draw her attention to it. I tried using A.I to check if it is a diseases or something and if it can be cured but am not getting a straightforward answer.
Does anyone has an advice on this issue? I love the girl by the way.
This post was posted in 2021 in one of my poultry farming groups. I just stumbled upon it and decided to share it again so those willing to learn can learn from it again.
First, check Mr. Anthony's excellent result at 6 weeks 3 days (CHI Chicks) and tell me if this happened by chance!
Someone said this to me last week after narrating his poultry farming journey. At a point he wanted me to believe or agree with him on this very point yet I disagreed.
Poultry farming set tests for everyone. If you pass them, you'll think you are lucky. If you fail them you'll think you are unlucky.
I have shared my poultry farming journey (experience) in one of my posts. How I started the business with over 800k in 2018. Imagine a guy who want to have a side business that generate money for him and invested all he had only to lose everything within few months.
Then, I had said I was unlucky. Hahaha... And at some point I was beginning to think some village people were after me. Just like someone told me yesterday when we met at one vet outlet lamenting heartily that someone poisoned his birds when he was not around. Hahaha. I have heard this countless times from farmers believing that someone poisoned their birds. Is that always true?
Listen carefully, poultry farming is not for the faint-hearted. Trust me, you have to overcome a lot of obstacles. I fought and overcame mine.
When success comes, many farmers seem to forget the rules. This is very common.
Imagine a farmer who would devote all his or her time daily in the farm ensuring that the bird are doing well. Once they have success with a particular batch then claim to become experts and start giving less time and attention.
One of my organic farmers would say she always play music for her birds. Hahahaha funny right?
I just told her to keep it up.
Poultry FARMERS should understand that flexibility is the soul of poultry business. Never be rigid. Never claim you already know too much.
What works for a particular batch of birds may not work for he next even though they are from the same hatchery.
Exactly 5 weeks ago, I helped a woman ordered some birds alongside mine. As usual, I don't let her take more that 1 carton for a start since she don't even have any prior idea on brooding. I sent some brooding guides to her and she got the organic medications and the schedule.
At 4 weeks, she called for reports.
51 birds still complete. Some are already weighing 2.1kg @4 weeks and she's planning to order another batch.
You see that? While I was so proud of her results, I felt she was becoming excited and letting her sweet emotions take control.
Well, I simply advised her to hold on and raise the first set to maturity first before another.
Well, I could feel she didnt understand why but I do and I made her see reasons. The exciting part is, @5 weeks yesterday morning some persons already prícing some of the birds 2500 each and she refused to séll.
Why?
Because she weighed some and they are almost 3kg.
I made her understand that early success shouldn't make her forget the rules I gave her nor let those sweet emotions take control.
Sell them off if they are ready to pick all of them and restock was my response.
At most, the cost príce of these birds isn't up to 1500 yet so, why keep them if someone want to pick them?
Well, fast forward to evening yesterday, she lost 3 of the biggest birds to heat stress. Wow!
7500 gone right?
This is the reality of poultry business. Many farmers never got this 2cents advice that could have kept them in the business.
She don't even have any idea of the cause of death because they are very healthy and active. That was my perfect guess! Heat. Now they are ok but 3 gone.
Lessons: 1. There is nothing like LUCK, it's hardwork plus 2. Don't be gréédy. Séll when you can make good profit 3. It is better to spend more and get fast result than spend less, keep your birds longer and rísk Mortalities 4. Don't fall for the trícks quick success play. Stay focused and be flexible. Learn and unlearn and practice.
Enjoy Farming!
