Foreign tech factories don't count on knowledges of China & India. Their have been pouring money like water to develop west like technologies for past 40 years even when they were poorer than Africa.

As for west, West stole much more knowledge from China and India in past 500 years what developed them.

And these are Afriacans who asked for charity. China and India were enemies of west and sanctioned for many decades. They developed their own factories and supply chains. Later west signed trade deals to manufacture cheap goods by use of Chinese and Indian supply chains.

"Highest number of poor people" has not really been cared about in India as people always knew we had very large population. Even if today you go and tell them that Nigeria and Congo have more poor people than India and China, Indians won't believe you. But they won't cry as they know their population.

Poverty also was barely an issue in India. Money was not a part of culture and government defined development in term of education and healthcare only from 1950s to 70s. Business consciousness and affluence only rose after 80s. But poverty had started to decline to great degree from then.

It is not that Indians don't say bad about their country's illness. They don't bcelebrateeing better than world's worst countries (Africa/Afghan/Pak/Bangladesh) nor have any interest in that but they get immediately ashamed when they are told that these countries are equal to or better than India.
Here you are trolling Nigerians, Kenyans, Rwandans and South Africans because your politics is connected with countries like yours.

But Indians on internet interact with and are insulted by Americans, Chinese, Japanese Turks, Canadians and Europeans which are much richer than our country. So go to Indian channels and see whom they compare with.

Why US, China and Japan produce more cars than India is a great issue in India that Indians don't celebrate producing many times more than entire Africa. They are more upset about how US, Russia and China managed to land on moon before India than telling other countries in world that India is ahead of them in space.

A government party politician will say, "India has just 3% extreme poverty left and will start using new higher standards of poverty". The journalist will rebuke him saying, "China has just 0.5%, what is big deal?"

In past decade, India's GDP per capita was behind Africa, became equal and higher in 2017 and by 2030, will be double. Still Indians will not troll Africans. But they will still cry because China and western world still remain ahead of India. But they will insult Pakistan for sure which is also falling behind.

Because Indian politics is connected to China, West and Pakistan etc. but not Africa. I hope you understand.

Most of India's modern institutions responsible for SciTech in India today were built after independence. British built universities are only known "humanities" subjects and hosting communist movements in India.

"British brought tech to India" is a completely bullshit if you compare inventions and as well as tech accessibility in India before and independence. Trains weren't some sort of alien technology that was a big deal even in early 20th century.

British got benefited from India and not vice versa. Indian forces acted as self funded killing machines taking over entire middle east. Soon as India got independence, Britain stopped being a major power and eventually fell into irrelevancy.

India was almost zero if not zero in 1947. And we even suffered more because US & UK were directly hostile to us till 80s. We had world's largest hungry population, no money, had two hostile neighbors (China and Pakistan) and over that US, UK & Soviet Union were after India's Kashmir. It was a nightmare. Things are better a million times now and hopefully keep improving.

And no, British didn't built any "massive" infrastructure in India. They just built a couple of routes for their transports most of which are closed now.

India built world's second largest road network and fourth largest train network after independence.

China and India have low fertility rates and slow growths of population as compared to other developing countries. Females naturally have a lower probability of getting born than males because of patterns concentration of X & Y chromosomes. This is purely biological.

China had a head start from having a powerful empire at end of world power, got technology transfers from US & USSR and enjoyed very friendly diplomatic relations at trade hence at that time when India was isolated and treated like North Korea is being today. So, China got benefits directly from them when Indians didn't have money for international trade and used to exchange rice directly to import shoes.

Over it, China has world's largest reserves of various kind of natural resources which is worth $22 trillions. Without resources, China's per capita GDP (PPP) will fall same as that of India despite all historical advantages.

Trains and basic automotives were not a very hard to manufacture thing. Most of small and poor independent countries had obtained this tech in early 20th century.

Indians made initial war rockets which were reverse engineered by British by name of (Congreve rockets) which eventually became basis of European missiles. We developed our Jiva and Ardhjiva system of calculus which was translated as trigonometry by British Edmund Gunter and became an integral part of advanced mathematics today.
And I'm not talking about conspiracy theories. If you will go through what British accept they got from India, list is so long. And the "technology" British love to brag about they brought India, their list won't exceed bloody trains which they brought for their VIP transport.

In fact, if you search about British inventions from 1600 to 2000, you will come to know that British themselves didn't have technologies. All their pride was to modify either German or French machines or steal some idea from Asian countries.
They do propaganda of liberating us from Muslims and unifying our country. But fact is that, Hindu Maratha empire controlled 80% of India and was moving ahead to control east pacific when British came.

Brits had to fight 6 wars with India before colonising us. They lost 5 wars with us and then made peace to stay in our country and sabotaged us from inside. Thereafter, they did pass laws to distribute separate societal structure that supports caste system and propagated about ending sati etc.. Our caste system had become dysfunctional, British revived it and spread rumours too to spread distrust among people.

Once again, our kings had banned Sati also long ago in 1500 & 1600s when Britain didn't even exist. If they wouldn't have come, India would have spanned from Afghanistan to Southeast Asia.

UK never did anything good to India nor UK was any great country in itself. They are just a bunch clever cheaters. It came as a friend but backstabbed us, stashed our money and ran away. There is no other contribution Britain has ever made to India. Anything good is just their propaganda to whitewash.

Just poor just isnt sufficient to compare these countries to Nigeria. Nor these countries can be compared to each other. Ghana and Bangladesh etc. are more or less same as Nigeria (improved version in human development indicators due to some good efforts). Nigeria, Ghana or Bangladesh don't have any sophisticated industrial or technological eco system to go beyond a certain level. Nor they are working on it.


Out of Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Brazil, Malaysia and Indonesia are dependent upon foreign entities and companies for push for their countries' technological upliftment. Only China, India and Brazil have indigenous capitalist class and will survive any long term crisis if countries stop helping each other.

Problems of these countries too were different if you want me to write a long list.
