...please Ozila, i wasn't trying to criticise or discourage you. Heaven knows, i'm a big fan of your works. ............ What ì said was my opinion on the type of stories ì like, and ì think everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. Like ì said in that same comment, more grease to your elbow, it isn't not easy to write a story. |
ritababe:please read that comment again. Ì wasn't speaking on behalf of everyone neither am ì criticising the op. Ì only stated the type of stories ì enjoy. @ xaviercasmir, the above comment is also in response to your comment. |
I don't know why, but i don't enjoy this type of stories. The fiction is something else. I like stories that are based on true life events cos i'll get the perfect picture of every scenario in the story. That's why i enjoy stories by snakie. Nevertheless, op more grease to your elbow cos i know it is not easy to write a story. |
Op, tell your friend that On the day of the departure, he should get a cup of tea and mix it with codein or Roche then give it to that mother-in-law I'm telling you by the time mama wakes upa you would have gone and come back from the honeymoon. |
daben1:bahddd guy! so you are indirectly telling me that the babe is a cucumberist? |
Mujaheeeden:buahahahaha. . . their luv for fresh and tight punny is legendary! Imagine fa. So he wants to have that baby and start giving her cassava! |
firstking01:no mind the op. Mechanical is suppose to be the first on the list. Trust me, i'm speaking from experience. Even at my place of work, anytime i'm done fixing a broken down machine, all these I.T girls be smiling, looking and whispering among themselves. I alway feel like knight in his shiny armour! |
Can anything good (economy-wise) ever come out of this country? |
falconey:no mind them. Ladies wanna eat their cake and still have it |
All of them ladies are claiming 'prude' but in real life, they are 'whorè' my question is, who are those ladies we see everyday wearing skimpy clothes? ...they're not on nairaland, abi ![]() |
otemanuduno:don't mind the fvcktard. Lol, see how people dey fear to quote that mofo because he said they will die before the year runs out. Kai! Nigerians are unbelievable! Dem don use hypo and wire brush to wash una brain. |
IAmOged:is that so?... mhmmm...... I'm beginning to suspect you. It seems you are one of them ukwu-less ladies. Turn around lemme see your ukwu. |
IAmOged:so you expect me to read this long post just to know why you ladies - confused beings don't love guys that truly love you? So after reading it, will i receive bank alert or get a nice congo to shine? ......if your answer is NO, better comot for road make i dey see all this ladies wey dey pass here with their big, big nyash |
Anti-stingy update. So for your mind now you don update be dat. Abi ![]() |
decatalyst:yes o, no place like home. |
Mackin:don't relent in achieving your dream of becoming an engineer. Many of my friends gave up along the way. The experience was like that of recruits joining the army. Only 1/4 of them will stand to the end of the training. During my set in GTC, about 85 of us got admitted but only about 28 of us stood to the end. Some left due to the hostile environment cos mehn, it was like we were in the army. I just don't want to mention some of the things we went through cos many won't believe me and secondly, i don't want to frightened some weak minded niggas. Lol. |
vicadex07:thank you very much. |
Zirah:thank you very much sir/ma |
Will continue with the thread tomorrow by the special grace of God. Thanks to you all for your comments. |
This one is called a FINGER. I made it from brass using the casting method after which i used the pedestal grinding machine to reduce the thickness from 7mm to 3mm. Why i used the casting method is because i couldn't get a brass plate of 3mm thickness. One might wonder why the brass material was wasted like that (from 7mm to 3mm. Thereby wasting 4mm of the brass material). Reason is cos it is almost impossible to manually cast a part of less than 5mm thickness and expect it to be strong enough except you used machines like the hydraulic or pneumatic stamping machine.
|
CyberStalking:yeah, the lathe is my favourite too. Back then in technical school, we call it 'the mother' of all machines. |
I cast this spur gear from cast iron in a foundry before mounting it on the lathe to machine it down to the precise dimentions, after which i mounted it on the milling machine to perfectly cut the teeth.
|
Mackin:thank you very much sir. |
Presently, i'm working but the environment is not a favourable one. One needs to be appreciated not threatened to be sacked despite all your efforts which have been saving the company from excessive spending. Most of the machine parts i've produced are not readily available in nigeria. They have to be ordered for from india or china. i need a change of environment to where i will be encouraged to use my skills in developing the company. It's not all about the money all the time. Just need a place i can work with a peaceful mind not where you are always in fear |
Jephz:thank you sir. ...But abeg i'm not a 'sir' yet o. I'm Just a small ghetto boy though with lots of experience about machines and in need of a job. |
psucc:true, funding is a major set-back. Machine tools are quite expensive for a single person to set up. thanks alot sir.... |
I will try and get some shots of these parts and others i will be uploading where they are fixed and if possible, explain how they operate. |
Buahahaha... funny but quite true! Those peeps that fell as victims of mmm won't find this thread funny. |
