Why the church no longer experience miracles as before.

I already cited God's saying to man in the beginning that on the day he eats the forbidden fruit he shall surely die, which means man surely died on that day (in the beginning) after he ate that fruit. Genesis 2:7

However the death man died on that day wasn't physical but spiritual (loss of his eternal life), hence why man continued to live physically beyond that day only to later die to confirm the loss of his eternal life.

So if man died (lost his eternal life) on that day, who killed man in the beginning?
