I made my point and provided evidences, if you can deny something as simple as this it is no surprise on your opposite stand in view of the truth of the gospel. Even the bible verse you quoted is contrary to your argument😂. Emphasis on "fullness" peradventure your finite wisdom missed it! 😅 to you God is an essence but the bible reveals God as a person, a being whom we have revelation with as with a Father, who's name to be honored and praised YHVH |

My own sibling, who was a witness gave me to read. Rather than asking him to explain, I turned to prayer about the subject. Then the answer came. God talked to me about it. The most salient point that got me disturbed was , the three agree in one going by the Awake of that month. The answer I got: 1. If there was agreement, to what end? 2. If they don't agree what will happen? I was afraid and didn't ask any further questions or bothered myself about it. I just believe. After that, maybe on personal issues or doctrinal, I turn to God in prayer. I get answers. Sometimes audibly.

Boomark: Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV [21] “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. [22] Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ [23] And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Christ said it that ONLY Those Who Do The Will Of His Father will enter the kingdom of God. So if anyone is practicing Trinity that God never spoke of. That Christ never spoke of. That is not found anywhere in the bible, they are practicing lawlessness.
The have been deceived by the lawless one with signs and wonders done in their church. They think, since they did it in the name of Jesus then it is acceptable by God. They don't know that doing the will of God is great than any sign or wonder. All those who think they are defending Christ even after rejecting his words are clearly deceive by the antichrist.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 ESV [9] The coming [of the lawless one, the antichrist] is through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of [pretended] miracles and signs and delusive marvels–[all of them] lying wonders–[10] And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing (going to perdition) because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved.[11] Therefore God sends upon them a misleading influence, a working of error and a strong delusion to make them believe what is false,[12] In order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe in [who refused to adhere to, trust in, and rely on] the Truth, but [instead] took pleasure in unrighteousness.
They have refused to take the truth from God which he spoke through Christ. The antichrist gave them trinity and they embraced it. They insult God who has given commands through Christ by their own foolish thoughts, that maybe God forgot to define trinity and that maybe the spirit of God forgot to inspire it as it should be.
They have all been deceived by the antichrist all those who go outside the scripture to borrow a name and define for themselves what they are practicing. 💯 you know when I read a response as if as I was the one that wrote it. I personally did my research and had experienced God's speaking and revelations before coming to a conclusion that Trinity is true. Chibuezem: The concept of the Trinity in the Old Testament is subtle yet evident through various passages and hints. While the term "Trinity" isn't explicitly mentioned, several scriptures suggest a plurality within the Godhead.
KeyPassages:
- *Genesis 1:26*: God says, "Let us make mankind in our image," indicating a plural Godhead. - *Genesis 19:24*: The Lord rains brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven, suggesting two distinct persons within the Godhead. - *Isaiah 48:16*: The Lord GOD and His Spirit have sent the speaker, hinting at the Trinity. - *Psalm 45:6-7*: The throne of God is mentioned, and Hebrews 1:8-9 identifies this as referring to the Son. - *Numbers 6:24-26*: The threefold repetition of God's name may allude to the Trinity.
*Other Hints:*
- *Plural terminology for God*: The Hebrew word "Elohim" is used, which is a plural form, yet often takes singular verbs, indicating a complex unity. - *The Angel of the Lord*: This figure is described as God and receives worship, yet is distinct from God, foreshadowing the Trinity. - *The Spirit of God*: Passages like Micah 3:8 and Isaiah 63:10-11 show the Spirit as a distinct person within the Godhead. - The trisagion of Isaiah 6:3: The repetition of "holy" three times may reflect the triune nature of God ¹ ² ³.
Interpretation:
The Old Testament lays the groundwork for the doctrine of the Trinity, which is later revealed more fully in the New Testament. Understanding these passages requires careful consideration of the Hebrew language, cultural context, and theological themes .
A very important question I would love you to answer is if You were to see evidence of trinity in the scripture and God were to also reveal it to you would you accept it? suggestion are open to personally interpretation like Peter wrote, 2Pet.1.20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. If it's not by the Holy Spirit which revealed to Peter that Jesus is the son, not that he is God or another God, but the son of the living God. In the Genesis 18& 19, you read and YHVH left yet Abraham was before YHVH, because the three angels represented his presence. Jacob saw the face of God, well he saw meet and wrestled with an angel. There are other numerous examples. It's like talking THROUGH your phone to someone, you are not speaking to the phone even though we can speak to our phones, make records and all that. You are using hints that generations of Hebrew prophets before and after the coming of Jesus Christ interpreted as ONLY ONE GOD AND NONE OTHER, even David didn't call the Messiah YHVH but Adoni, the same term Sarah uses for her husband. There's more to share but if this much you don't understand nor accept then none will be added to you even that which you have may be taken away. God is God, he is who he is, let's not join those who which to destroy his personality by creating false personalities for him. 🙏🏾 |

Explore2xmore: We more likely wouldn't come to an agreement however consider that the relationship within the Christian Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit sharing the same essence, or homoousios, the scriptures hint at a hierarchy that deserves a closer look.
Take John 5:19, for instance, where it says, The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing.
This verse really highlights how the Son relies on the Father, showing that Jesus is all about fulfilling the Father's will instead of acting on his own.
Then there's 1 Corinthians 11:3, which states, The head of Christ is God, pointing to an eternal order within the Godhead and suggesting that the Son continually submits to the Father's authority.
Moreover, 1 Corinthians 15:28 talks about the Son eventually being subjected to the Father, reinforcing this hierarchical relationship that goes beyond just temporary circumstances. And in John 14:28, when Jesus says, The Father is greater than I, it emphasizes the different roles even among those who are equal in essence. So, while the Trinity embodies unity in being, there’s definitely a clear order of authority at play. The highest being the One True God that everything including Jesus and the Holy spirit submit to. 💯 wonderfully put but what then do we say to those who change unity to mean equality? An equality that negates the Father calling him his son and the son eternally being submissive to God, a submission he leads God's children into |

armchairscholar: Your passion for seeking truth in Scripture is clear, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to reflect on this together. The question of who God is and how Jesus relates to Him touches the heart of our faith, and it’s a topic that deserves careful thought and prayer. I hear the conviction in your words, and I want to respond with gentleness, as we’re called to in 1 Peter 3:15, to honor both the truth and the love that binds us as believers.
You’ve shared many verses that emphasize the Father as the one true God and Jesus as His servant, prophet, and priest. These roles of Jesus are beautiful truths in Scripture. He is indeed the Messiah, the one sent by the Father to reconcile us to Him, as you pointed out in passages like John 20:17 and Acts 2:36. His submission to the Father, as seen in John 14:28 and 1 Corinthians 15:28, shows His humility and obedience, which are a model for us all. This reminds us of the deep love and unity between the Father and the Son, as Jesus prays for us to share in that oneness in John 17:22.
At the same time, I’d encourage us to consider the mystery of God’s nature a bit further. Scripture also speaks of Jesus in ways that suggest a unique divine role, such as John 1:1, where He is called the Word who was with God and was God. This doesn’t mean we ignore the Father’s supremacy, as you rightly emphasize, but it invites us to wrestle with how Jesus shares in God’s glory while remaining subject to the Father. The early church, through much prayer and struggle, sought to understand this balance, as we see in historical gatherings like the Council of Nicaea, where believers wrestled with these truths to guard against error.
I don’t say this to argue but to encourage us to keep seeking God’s heart together. The Bible calls us to humility and love in our pursuit of truth, as Philippians 2:2 reminds us to be “like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” Let’s hold fast to the Father as the one true God, honor Jesus as His chosen Son and servant, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, as John 16:13 promises.
If you’re struggling with these ideas, I’d suggest praying through them with an open heart, perhaps using some of the powerful prayers found in Scripture to seek clarity and peace. Let’s keep this conversation rooted in love and a shared desire to know God more deeply. When you say scripture speaks in a suggestive way, you mean there was no clarification or clarity but based on some persons interpretation. Should the gospels speak in mystery when it is a revelation, I don't believe so. When there is contradiction it's either the speaker is lying or a person understands it wrongly. Contradictions like there is only one God, Jesus saying and teaching that only the Father is God, become contradictory when an author of confusion comes into play like he did with Psalm 91. So do we need to "consider the mystery of God’s nature a bit further." Instead of the considering the REVELATION of God's nature especially when the so called mystery contradicts God's revelation of Himself? When you speak of historical gatherings like the Council of Nicaea, have you done a deep dive into what historically happened to a young accepted the shallow surface record of it. Do you know what they did to those who believed that only God is God, there's a spirit behind that action and it was not of God. In the spirit of love, we are still expected NOT to love the world or things of the world, NOT to love money, Mammon nor human lies and wickedness. We cannot in the spirit of love accept errors for the truth is to be spoken in love and if we indeed love you why should we lie to you |

Gabrielshow24: Are you answering him? 😂He can't even define the concept called "God"! He is here positing that Jesus is not God. These are the kind of people that quote scriptures without taking context. The same John that wrote that verse, also wrote in revelation about seeing the ancient of days and the lamb. Prophets of old wrote of their visions seeing the ancient of days yet someone takes from a verse, "no man has seen God" and uses it as a conclusion that The prophet of old didn't see God and Jesus saying "whosoever that sees him as seen God" has also said rubbish 😂😂😂!
You can imagine the mental incompetence, shouldn't wisdom not tell him that the "seeing" there warrants a different context 👀. He even forgot the ending clause, "the son hath revealed him to us" 😂😂😂.

Steep: The Roman catholic church is right in some things and wrong in others. In other to sieve the right ones from the wrong ones all you need is the Bible. For example the Roman catholic church is right in teaching the commandment but wrong in ommiting one of them which is the commandment against idols. They are are right about the trinity but wrong in veneration of Mary and other saints and also some of their teachings concerning Mary. So you are disingenuous by trying to condemn the trinity doctrine because the Roman catholic church teaches it not because the scripture itself supports the doctrine of the trinity. God, of the substance of the Father, begotten before the worlds; and Man, of the substance of His mother, born into the world. Perfect God and Perfect Man, of a reasonable Soul and human Flesh subsisting. Equal to the Father as touching His Godhead, and inferior to the Father as touching His Manhood. Who, although He be God and Man, yet He is not two, but One Christ. One, not by conversion of the Godhead into Flesh, but by taking of the Manhood into God. One altogether, not by confusion of substance, but by Unity of Person. For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one Man, so God and Man is one Christ. Who suffered for our salvation, descended into Hell, rose again the third day from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, He sitteth on the right hand of the Father, God Almighty, from whence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. At whose coming all men shall rise again with their bodies, and shall give account for their own works. And they that have done good shall go into life everlasting, and they that have done evil into everlasting fire. This is the Catholic Faith, which except a man believe faithfully and firmly, he cannot be saved. |

So there is One Father, not Three Fathers; one Son, not Three Sons; One Holy Ghost, not Three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal. So that in all things, as is aforesaid, the Unity in Trinity, and the Trinity in Unity, is to be worshipped. He therefore that will be saved, must thus think of the Trinity.
Furthermore, it is necessary to everlasting Salvation, that he also believe rightly the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For the right Faith is, that we believe and confess, that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man. |

Continuation of the Athanasian Creed:
So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not Three Gods, but One God. So likewise the Father is Lord, the Son Lord, and the Holy Ghost Lord. And yet not Three Lords but One Lord. For, like as we are compelled by the Christian verity to acknowledge every Person by Himself to be God and Lord, so are we forbidden by the Catholic Religion to say, there be Three Gods or Three Lords. The Father is made of none, neither created, nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created, but begotten. The Holy Ghost is of the Father, and of the Son neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding. |
