To want something that isn't yours is that not covertousness, to want something you did not pay for or take something you did not pay for or wasn't gifted to you, isn't that theft.
Love is indeed patient, kind, humble, but lust desires to gain what isn't ours. Lust of the eyes, of the flesh and a pride of life that you deserve what isn't even yours. Love gives, lust takes and desires to take selfishly. |

Most of the popular "rich" churches who collect tithes by lying that God appointed them as levites, are all den of thieves. Lovers of money like the Pharisees they mock Jesus and his word, like the david ibiyeomes, they want to serve both God and money but end up despising God and no serving Him at all, because they lack the spirit and the truth of God. |

May God give some wisdom.
Proverbs 8:22 YHVH qana-ni. The LORD acquired, got wisdom.
But some would tell you well God didn't create wisdom, so maybe they should tell us how God acquired wisdom maybe he bought it from someone if he didn't create wisdom.
The scriptures actually says God got wisdom from the beginning. So where did He get it from, if not from Himself. Who defined what wisdom is and should be if not God. |

Gabrielshow24: 😂It seems you have decided to come out of your shell and talk👀, that's good. Let's talk, Christ gave lots of hints to his divine nature.
Now let me ask you, how do you know that when God was speaking in the Bible that it wasn't Jesus? If you can succinctly decipher without alluding to a generic term, then we have a discussion then if you can't then you are no different to a blind man that calls whatsoever he touches Hairy!
I will like to know your system of identifying whether it was the Father or the Son or perhaps the spirit 👀 that spoke in such and such place🤨.
Let's see how reasonable you are! If you can't then you buttress the entire point of scripture that it was Jesus that revealed 'trinity' to us! seems I may have been ignoring you for you to refer to it has coming out of a shell to talk to you. And I am beginning to see reason why my past self did so. You could not even answer the question asked you, yet you are demanding a conversation and even asking me questions. Wow. You really are full of yourself ain't you, lol you even want to see how reasonable I am. All this response to enquire I made of you. Don't bother answering Your other reason already showed how foolish you reason, you saw the reasons and left. Smh pathetic |

Gabrielshow24: This is a foolish rebuttal, you haven't proved anything 🤨? When there are plethora of verse of God saying "Let us" 🤨, are you knowledgeable at all?
Even Isaiah 40:13-14 destroys your rebuttal. If you don't understand what I wrote up there. My intention was to buttress 'The wisdom of God' is an inherent quality. It's been with him from the very beginning! It doesn't matter whether poetically 'wisdom' is referred to as she, it's only convention to refer to God as 'He' and other things as she! —which fits the biblical narratives!
Once again, you proved you are the one with folly🤕. The council of Nicaea analyzed the trinity from various reasons before coming to a logical conclusion about his person!
The concept of God is simple, now I will like to ask you, can you define "God" for me? 🤨 Let's see the measure of the intelligence you claim to have😁! Are you not foolish, seeing that you believe God didn't create wisdom So answer this then that you quoted Isa.40.14 Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding? (NIV) Did God consult another non created being like himself? Who taught him what to do? |
Christianity Etc › Re: God Created Jesus To Be His Exact Image by gohf(op): 9:16pm On May 10, 2025 |
Asking how God got wise when you are the one separating the existence of wisdom from God, or suggesting that since God did not create wisdom, God needed to meet another self existing being called wisdom before he himself became wise and without that being God is foolish.
This is how devil and led men to call their creator foolishness because they fail to accept God is God in their hearts |
Christianity Etc › Re: God Created Jesus To Be His Exact Image by gohf(op): 9:12pm On May 10, 2025 |
Gabrielshow24: A bad and faulty analogy 🤨. Jesus is not a created being, he existed with the Father from the beginning. He was God's companion!
If indeed according to you, Jesus was created then you imply God foolish since Jesus is termed the wisdom of God!🤔
Now if God is foolish how then did he get wise to the extent to create something? And even if he did create something, how did he know it was good? 🤨 Now you have another dilemma.
Let's use this same narrative with the expression 'word of God'. How did your God learn to speak? If he possessed it from his beginning 👀 then it's an inherent quality hence since God has no beginning, this quality had been with him!
The council of Nicaea was not filled with dullards neither with those that use cheap analogy to sell false scripts! so according to you God didn't create wisdom? Even though Wisdom declares to be the first of God's works Prov.8.22 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,, before his deeds of old; (NIV) Prov.8.22 "The LORD formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else. (NLT)Prov.8.22 "GOD sovereignly made me--the first, the basic--before he did anything else. (MSB) |

"Once you've seen me you've seen the Father" "I and the Father are one" "I am in the Father and the Father is in me" the devil went to the woman and asked is there any tree God said you should not eat from. There are questions that are demonic because they avoid God's revealed truth. So because I and my wife are one, it means my wife is me. Thankgod89: As I’ve mentioned to "truthseeker10" before, I normally don’t engage in debates about whether Christ is God or not. I believe everyone should refer to Him as they have come to know Him—or as the Spirit has revealed Him to them.
I’ve discussed this topic with you in the past, and I chose to agree with you at the time—not because I was fully convinced, but because I know these kinds of topics often lead to endless arguments. Honestly, I’ve also noticed that your choice of words can sometimes come across as impolite, and I’m not interested in having that kind of exchange.
If anything I’ve said has come across as offensive or embarrassing, I sincerely apologize.
Thank you. I can take this as you do not want to answer or you don't have any answer to the questions I asked you. The Holy Spirit is one, he doesn't reveal contradictory things as God is not an author of confusion. If you pretended to agree with me that has nothing to do with me but with you. If you don't want an argument or a debate, then you would answer the questions honestly and according to what is written. It may be okay to you for people to believe and know a lie but a lie won't set people free and for me it isn't okay for people to teach and preach what contradicts the truth. I understand the deception played by the devil to let many believe a lie he cooked up, but I don't understand why people feel the need to make a Jesus equal to God or a god. |
Islam › Help Make Sense Of A Number Of Things I Have Heard From Muslims by gohf(op): 1:24pm On May 10, 2025 |
Please answer this questions with love and understanding towards those who have little to no knowledge of your Quran and possibly hadiths
1. I have heard some Muslims say they believe Jesus is the Messiah and that Muhammad spoke about Jesus Christ, but that he taught about Jesus Christ nor preached his message the gospel. True Muslims in the house care to share what you have been taught was the message of Jesus the Messiah.
2. Do you honor Muhammad more than Jesus
3. Adam was forgiven of his sins but was still cast out of Eden. What then was the result of his forgiveness
4. Why do some believe Aisha was 9 but some believe she was older, a teenager possibly 19. (Personally I think she may have been way older from the little I read but people use the she's 9 to attack Muhammad)
5. I have heard some Muslims say, the assignment of Jesus failed so therefore God had to send Muhammad. If you believe this, explain how it failed or clarify why some say this.
6. There are more but let's start with these five, maybe one more, because I get different answers to this from Muslims. Why did God create man according to the Quran.
7. Oh what does the Quran teach is the reason God sent Jesus? |

Christianity Etc › Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by gohf: 1:10pm On May 10, 2025 |
Thankgod89: When Jesus says, “The Father is greater than I,” He is speaking as the incarnate Son, who willingly humbled Himself and took on human flesh (Philippians 2:6–7). In His humanity, He voluntarily submitted to the Father’s will and accepted a lower position for the sake of our salvation.
So, the Father is “greater” in function or role during the incarnation, not in essence. Jesus still retained full divinity but operated in a position of submission.
In short, Jesus wasn’t denying His divinity—He was preparing the disciples for His departure. He emphasized the greatness of the Father to comfort them, showing that His going away was part of a larger divine plan. If the Father was greater in position, then His return to the Father was not a loss but a completion of His mission. are you saying that now Jesus is equal or greater than the Father? Are you saying that Jesus is no more in the flesh? Are you saying that the Father's role now is lesser? |

Now think about a comic artist, or a manga/manhua for those into asian sketched stories. Now if the artist who is the creator of those characters in sketched up world, decides to draw a character and name that character after himself or call it, his image having a power to erase or rule in his sketched up world.
The first question is, is this image, this character given such power and authority to erase, created? Yes it is, yes he/she, the character is created.
Second question, is that character the creator, the comic artist? The answer is No
The question then is, even though without a doubt (personally) Jesus is the image of God why do some call him God, even when the creator and author did not call him or tell others to call him God? |

Bordey: I was surprised when I read the history of Pope. The first was Peter, Jesus disciple that is filled with holy Ghost, casted out demons, heal the sick and raised the dead. The second Pope was Linus and he was mentioned by Paul. He was filled with holy Ghost too and was the first after Peter to be in charge of the Roman church.
Why am I writing this? Today the pope so far are just mere men with respected position. They can't pray for sick to be healed or cast out demons or even raise the dead.. One even said blessing should be given to same sex marriage that Paul condemned. Are they in line with the spirit of God. Definitely NO. Captain4Jehovah: I would rather shut my mouth than trying to justify myself in order to claim what is not! I am telling you what all Christians must do. The law about tithe is not debatable nor negotiable! Christians cannot cut corners regarding to whom it must be given these days ! I SAY IT AGAIN, THERE IS NO ASSOCIATION BETWEEN TITHE AND TRIBUTE OR TITHE AND TAX. YOU DON'T EQUAL THEM FOR THEY ARE DIFFERENT. This is the real reason I tried to differentiate them. NOTE: The tribute money paid by Jesus is not tithe. Remember the Romans were in charge. Selected Jews were only given the right by them to collect it. My main focus is primarily on tithe not tax and tribute. I ONLY let you understand that while tax/tribute are forcedly collected, tithes are not. The temple tax was not supposed to be paid by Jesus for it was collected on his land by the Roman government and used for themselves not Israel government (they didn't have any government to remit the money to)_the kings of the earth don't collect tribute from their sons and daughters, it is from the strangers. As children of God, we shouldn't be paying tribute spiritually. This I stated earlier! This is one spiritual lesson from that verse of the Bible(Matthew 17:24-27).
Pay your tithe to your God-ordained Pastor or Bishop. Simple! You mentioned prophets not priests nor Levites. Those prophets you mentioned were not authorized to collect tithes! They dare not! Pastors and Bishops are your Levites today. I believe you are not an Israeli! If you had been quiet you would have spared yourself from sin. Have you not lied against God, I asked you when did God ordain your pastors and bishops as tithe collectors for his children? Instead you still insist that they must give while claiming it will not be forcefully collected from them, even under the law of Moses tithes were not forcefully collected infact only the given knows if he has brought out all the three tithes required by the law. I write brought because some are eaten at a specific place. When you teach a lie in the name of God, will you not be judged for it. Do you think lying that Jesus ordained bishops as levites would be a passable offense even if you claim that's what you were indoctrinated into. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Mark 4:31, Matthew 9:37 And Malachi 3:10_their Usage, Application And Criticism by gohf: 9:37am On May 02, 2025 |
Captain4Jehovah: Do you have Levites in your gathering today? If so, give your tithe to them or you could travel to Israel and pay it to anyone of them JUST TO FULFILL THE LAW and be freed from God's accusation about tithe.
You are claiming that you observe the law in fragment, in part does that justify what you practice as what is right and true?
It shows you didn't get the message of my response earlier! The Biblical Israelites were majorly farmers( consider Genesis 46:34) and THEY OBSERVED ALL THE TITHES IN FULL in the sense that they brought ALL TITHES OF ANIMALS, FRUITS, AND OTHER FARM PRODUCES to God's house(Deuteronomy 14:22-29; Malachi 3:10). They were even instructed to convert the farm produces to money if their residences are far away from God's temple. The case is different today: people only tithe from their primary monthly income. Matt.22.29 Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. Rom.8.33-34 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? Will God? No! He is the one who has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for he is the one who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us. Matt.5.17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.Jas.2.8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well; Rom.13.8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. |
