This is the Laodicea church age, an age where unconditional love is being taught and preached alot and it was to the church Jesus said Rev.3.19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.

You can't preach the love of God and the love of His son Jesus Christ and not preach repentance or God's rebuke. Unconditional love should be termed Indisciplined love, love without discipline.

Unrepentant sinners want unconditional love, they speak about it, they sing about it, they don't want to change they want God to change, they go to who ever shows or gives them a god who accepts them for who they are and what they do.

It's sad that the wisdom of men are being taught as the gospel, and it's painful that souls are being destroyed by these lies.

Evangelism isn't God loves you the way you are, no true evangelism is God loved you and gave you His son that you should believe him and listen to him, repent and follow Jesus.

If unconditional love means unreasonable love or love without any reason to it, I have heard Myles Munroe teach that true love has no reason, and he taught it in a very convincing way and that's should not be strange most false teachings are also very convincing
But the issue we don't realize is, when we say God can love without any reason, it also means God can also hate without any reason.

How do some solve this, by saying God cannot hate. Apart from reducing God to being who created and gave all has doing so because He can and not because He has a reason to, questions verses that make mention of God's will, God's purpose, God's plan, God's thoughts and reason which are higher than ours. Jesus said in Rev.3.19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.

You see that the devil teaching you all that God's love is unconditional and making you feel that He doesn't need you to change nor to be corrected is a lie.

Paul continues to write in Ephesians 5

Why do you think Paul who tells us to walk the way of love like Jesus taught us to, tell us to repent why does he go ahead and lists conditions of what you should not do while walking in God's love if there are no conditions to God's love. Unconditional love of God are empty words of deception, because it doesn't exist.

God's love having a condition doesn't undermine it. The idea that God loves you no matter what you do is not from God's word, the truth is God loves us no matter WHO we were, meaning no matter where you come from or your past. This love is basic, it doesn't matter who you are God loved you and gave you an opportunity to accept Jesus, that is His kindness, He sends light and rain to all, but obviously some love darkness and hate the light. But does God save the wicked who refuse to repent? He doesn't. God is perfect because He is fair and just, He doesn't give us love for us to continue our wickedness neither do we, you don't love your enemies to encourage their wickedness do you? No you treat them well with basic necessities, if they are hungry or they are thirsty, you give them God's word and the gospel which is repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. God loved the people and Nineveh and what did He do, He gave them an opportunity to repent and please Him, if there were no conditions to that love there shouldn't be a need for their repentance.

If God's love to the unjust is unconditional then He has no right to judge them for wasting the time given to them on earth.

God's love is free but there are conditions to remain in that love.

God loved the world, the term LOVED, shows it was a one time thing, John 3:16 and it brings to us a condition where we have to make a choice but does that mean God doesn't love anymore no, for God's love is in Christ, the continuation love of God is in Christ. Romans 8:39. Even this continues inseparable love is with the condition that you are in Christ Jesus. In all Paul wrote, did he write you cannot separate yourself, if nothing else can then what about you?
God's love is conditional because He gave you freedom. Love is a gift, you can give it but you shouldn't force people to accept it, they have to choose whether you receive it and keep it, and we can't have what we refuse to receive.

John 14: 15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. Yahushua the Messiah to his disciples: "show me you love me by obeying my Commandments." You can't claim to love me when you do not obey my Commandments. When you show that you love me by obeying my Commandments, I will give you my Power, the Spirit of truth - the Set-apart/Holy Spirit.

Unconditional love is an illusion; it does not exist. Know this and pursue righteousness - obedience to the Commandments of YHVH Almighty - with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your might.
