A pastor and his church members gathered to destroy their Bibles.

The pastor and his members felt misled by the Bible and decided to destroy it as a form of protest ignorantly.

The pastor claimed the Bible had deceived them for over 400 years now. He questioned the Bible's authenticity, saying some parts are missing and incorrect, siting some examples.

He made several misleading claims: that some Bible portions are missing, that the Bible's portrayal of God is untrue, and that the Bible contains bad things despite being called "holy."

Additionally, the pastor criticized the Bible's origins, specifically King James' involvement.
He viewed King James as a slave trader and disagreed with his role in translating the Bible.

However, the pastor's arguments and that of his church members, were based on misinformation and a lack of understanding.

This incident serves as a warning: we must be cautious about the churches we attend, the messages we hear and the pastors we follow. Misguided leaders can alter our perceptions of life and God, leading us astray.

I don't support the destruction or burning of it, or whatever may have happened but before you say he is misleading them why not verify if his statements have some truth to them.

According to God's word (Bible) there is resurrection and this will affect two sets of people:

*RIGHTEOUS: Those who knew God's standard and lived by it so from God's viewpoint they have been declared righteous.


*UNRIGHTEOUS: Those who lived by their God's given conscience even though they never knew God's law but they tried as much as they could to avoid doing what they won't accept to their fellow man! Romans 2:14-15; Matthew 7:12

So God's word says there will be a resurrection of both righteous and the unrighteous! Act 24:15


But there is another separate set of people who will never be remembered during resurrection these people never cared about God or conscience so when God is bringing the righteous and unrighteous back to life in Paradise the WICKED will not be given such opportunity! Psalms 9:17

Apart from these there is no life after death because the memories of dead people has been wiped out immediately after they died and they have no share again in life! Ecclesiastes 9:5-10

Is it the theft, the fight, the fake and false prophecies and attempts to take your money, is it... yes there are demonic people who go there to fight those who go to seek God and the expectations would have been how can they go there. I can remember when someone here raised concerns in a thread which exposed the devices of the devil about a marine spirit that was in control of the river that people paid homage to because it was where Ayo Babalola use to pray, but whose claim was quickly rebuffed by some here as ignorant and baseless, even though i saw nothing wrong in what the guy said and thought he may have a point.

My personal experiance in the said prayer garden also appeared to give more credence to the guy's claims, because it proved that being a place of prayer isn't enough to keep the demonic forces out.

What people should realize is that Ayo Babalola is no longer there to repel those demonic forces with his spiritual capacity and fervent prayers.

And some of those demons are really stubborn so would require people as spiritually hot as Ayo Babalola to continually keep them away otherwise it will be another case of "while men slept the devil came in".

Such a deity would, by definition, be naturally merciful and forgiving, without condition, or expectation of reward. The very essence of mercy lies in its unconditional nature, but the way you've explained it makes it no less different from a transactional agreement, reducing mercy to a quid-pro-quo arrangement, where the grantor of mercy must expect something in return, and this is hardly indicative of the hallmark of a truly omnibenevolent deity. The kingdom of man on earth now is called politics, of which the elected ruler stays about 4years per term. Strange isn't it? I don't know how it takes for one government to hand over to the next nor duration of campaign and all that. Though a 6months difference in length it is strangely similar duration.

He will favor those who forsake the Holy covenant, he will defile the sanctuary and put an end to daily worship by replacing it with abomination that causes destruction.

Those who go against God's covenant he will corrupt with flattery and win them over to his side but those who KNOW THEIR GOD, and OBEY HIM, shall grow and produce, they shall be strong and obey, they shall stand firm resisting him and have understanding to instruct others, teaching and telling them what is happening, irrespective of the consequences, of the persecutions and sufferings they will face.

While all these persecutions are going on, a little help will arrive, and many who are not sincere will join them deceitfully for their own selfish reasons, hypocrites full of lies and flattery.

And some of those who have understanding will stumble, they will be defeated as they are tested to be cleansed and chosen, some will waver and become weak, but the sufferings, the persecutions, the test and refining which comes to purify and make spotless must continue till the end of time, until the right appointed time when the end shall come, when all shall be gathered.


Hmm, he shall do according to his own will, exalting himself, saying he is greater than every god there is and even blamspheme against the Most High God. He will succeed and be prosperous till God's wrath is full and God's word fulfilled. He shall have no regard for God nor the desire for women, he shall magnify himself above all and instead he shall proclaim and honor a new god, god of forces, god of fortresses, a strong god representing a stronghold where people gather, he will worship strength and power and honor it with gold, silver, money, gifts and costly things.
With his god he will attack others, to increase it's glory and honor those who submit to him appointing them positions of authority, making them to rule others and dividing land among them as their reward...

Devil has always wanted to be worshipped as God, even the true Christ was tempted.
