Most of these so called men of God today are followers of the ways of Paul the apostle who doesn’t have clear ordained witness of his religious escapades. Peter never knew him. One who was the master of the sharia law in his time!. To execute oppositions. Peter denied him. Anointing and ordination is a chain. It is only a born anointed that can anoint anyone on earth. God can’t come down from heaven and anoint a man. How can! Those who claim to be ordained are nothing but voluntary service to God. Elijah did not anoint Elisha, God did. God is the one who anoints not men. Elisha sent his servant to anoint Jehu, it was God who anointed not Elijah's servant. Samuel wanted to pour oil up on the head of Jesse's elder son but God choose and anointed David

Anointing is meant to be a chain by known prophets. Let look at the biblical days. Elijah anointed Elisha, Samuel anointed Saul after which David. Jesus anointed Peter coming to the present day Pope.

Yahweh the strong wrathful storm God is an older idea to Yahweh the fatherly compassionate wise God.

So, most often when these features contradict, the writer of these respective parts were imagining a Yahweh that was different from the other. The hot-headed storm deity that theologically competed with Ba'al or the fatherly compassionate El elevated to the Chief amongst every other God.

In this very evolution of the Jewish religion from Pegan Yahwehism to Aocalyptic Yahwehsim to Talmudic Judaism, you could see how the bible went from admitting the existence of other Gods, to admitting that Yahweh would defeat and judge them to ultimately denying their existence entirely.

The story actually started when Moses was born. Taking a single text out of the narrative will distort the flow.
The story of Moses and the Israelites is about moving from slavery(ignorance of self/self enlightenment) to the promised land (self awareness/higher consciousness). Everything from the beginning to the end is happening within. God is the universal divine consciousness. The stories are not literal. They are allegories. The letter killeth, the spirit giveth life. The spiritual message in the story is what gives life.

Anointing/ miracles draws crowd for salvation, just as many people followed Jesus on earth.

But anointing alone cannot take any pastor to heaven.

Growing up I had always heard about how some churches are only after your money for years until I attended and was stunned to know that them no even send you at all.
