We really don't know if truly Joseph believed her except based on what Matthew and co wrote!

Muhammad and his companions confirmed that an Angel visited! The texts of the Quran and Sunnah also confirmed it. Show us how Matthew and others confirmed same! Another example is Matthew 4:11 and Mark 1:13 where Angels ministered to Jesus! No one was present as eyewitness yet you believed it. But when it comes to Islam you look for hypocrisy!

We obey first then wait for a reward in the world to come and not an immediate reward or satisfaction. They can't preach this to you because that is not what they believe and love by.

Faith that makes us preserve and serve God faithfully. We don't live by bread but by every word that comes out from the mouth of God.
Heb.10.39 - But we are not like those who turn their backs on God and seal their fate. We have faith that assures our salvation.

It is this kind of faith that secures for us our salvation. A never relent steadfast faith.

The key word here is willfully sinning, deliberately, continuous without confessing, repenting and seeking forgiveness like John wrote, even after we know the truth and we deny the truth by denying our need to obey and seek forgiveness. There is no other way and no other sacrifice for sins

They are different from those who struggle with their sin instead of fully practicing it without remorse despite God's mercy and grace, Paul mentioned this in Gal.6.1 Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.

So there are those who seek God's grace like Paul so as to overcome sin, but there are those who see it as an excuse to sin, as a ticket and claim well our future sins have already been paid for and forgiven.

You know Prov.14.14 says Backsliders get what they deserve; good people receive their reward.
Jesus said such people are not fit for the kingdom.


So there are people who though they have come to know the Lord Jesus but are hypocrites and workers of Iniquity. They continue in their own ways without forsaking all to follow Jesus, they seek their own benefits and pleasures and serve themselves. They ignore the truth as it doesn't benefit them, even they it has been revealed to them. E.g Jesus didn't command his children to tithe, their response it doesn't matter, ignore that. They willingly go against God and are stubborn and unrepentant. You can lose the Holy Spirit can receive him again, because the sacrifice that brought him the first time isn't going to occur again. You died once God gave you the gift of life, don't die again there's no sacrifice fr eternal death

So Hebrews 10:20-25 tells us that because of the blood Jesus we are granted access to the Father and we come together in fellowship and worship, for we trust God to forgive us because of the blood of Jesus, so let us not relent in doing good because we make a mistake or two or because we doubt that God forgives and would still punish us for our mistakes, let us have that assurance and believe that those who obey God and love are forgiven by Him, so encourage each other when they struggle with doubt or faults.

It's a matter of conviction and sound evidence from the text. Muhammad wrote that angels visited him. His companions too confirmed they saw an unknown man come to meet Muhammad, an unknown man who looked like a traveler, came to teach them Islam asking Muhammad questions.

So who confirmed Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter and others with Angels?

Angel Gabriel did visit Mary from the Qur'an and Bible. Where is that of those people in bold above?

I think i would end with the verse from Luke 1:1-4 where he said : Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. This shows:
1. Many people wrote about the things that happened - like history written by an historian!
2. They had sources who were the eyewitnesses and servants of the word - who are they?
3. Luke even had to investigate again from the beginning - Why investigate if your sources are legit?
4. And Luke was writing to one Theophilus. He wasn't writing a scripture to be included in the Bible!
5. There was no Holy spirit/Angelic visitation involved in writing the scriptures!

So it wasn't a dream that was written but a record of what actually happened and even from eye witnesses.

Mary claimed she was visited by an angel did her future husband believe her?

Yet he was visited by God to confirm the visitation, who confirmed to you that Muhammad was visited by an angel?

Look let me tell you something the evidence that someone has been visited by God is humility not pride.

In Hebrews 10, after the first fourteen verses where we learn how much better the sacrifice of Jesus is for our purification and that it is once and for all, unlike the daily and yearly sacrifices of the old covenant and regulations which has been fulfilled and done away with, because God never wanted that but a merciful and love shown through Jesus, not the constant reminder of sin. You know God doesn't want us to continuously remember our past mistakes as a long as we have repented from them, He wants us to move on and do what is right and also God doesn't want us to continue sinning either.

Now the sacrifice of Jesus was done for us to be made holy, for the purpose of sanctifying us, that is for the work of sanctification to occur in our lives and the Holy Spirit is testimony of this.


Heb.10.15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. First he says,

First is that God puts his commands in our hearts
Heb.10.16 - "This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts so they will understand them, and I will write them on their minds so they will obey them."

Next is that our sins are forgiven
Heb.10.17 - Then he adds, "I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds."
Heb.10.18 - Now when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.


Now I understand that the author mentions this to show why the old regulations of the mosaic law isn't needed anymore but when we look at this text we learn something else.
That first God writes his commands in our hearts so that we obey them then he forgives us all our sins, now recently I had a conversation with someone concerning the forgiveness of sins brought to us by the cross of Jesus Christ how it isn't for future sins as well and that's a misinterpretion of God's word. Now here again we see that the forgiveness is for those who obey, for a person living in obedience.

Heb.10.19 - And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven's Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.

So because Jesus died we are granted access to God to receive forgiveness, obtain mercy and find grace like the author wrote about in Hebrews 4:16, let's look at the conversation we had, from Colossians 2:13-14

Humility is simple, not everyone who has a divine visitation would tell others about it, and you said if the visitation is about salvation. Peter wrote yet he didn't mention what Luke wrote that an angel came to them in prison and told them to go and teach the people the words of this new life. Now does that mean what Luke wrote was wrong or that Peter didn't see the need to or maybe he had many encounters or didn't think it was important enough to speak about or maybe he felt if he mentions them people would focus on his rather than Jesus. They would take him has the last prophet of God and maybe claim he is the Holy spirit the foundation of the church.

Well instead of giving up why not get angry with God, not that we have a right to br angry at Him, but shout, cry if you must, express yourself to Him, your sadness, pain anger and disappointment. God hears, and while you are doing it, shout at Him that you know that He is good, like the psalms, tell Him not to hide from you that you knoe He can see you. Tell Him this day and moment you already know, and it is recorded in heaven that I am begging you even if I am a dog you care for the birds of the air, give me scrubs from heaven, even those scrubs would feel my house. Tell me why I am suffering. Look keep at it, so God or anyone won't say you gave up.


It is written they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up on wings like an eagle.

If you wait privately on God, seek him, fast and pray, will reward you openly. If you want to stop going to church, stop but don't stop going to God, dont cut off those who actually care for you and maybe that can't help you.

Christianity is a personal race, not everyone has the same revelation of God. If He says Christ was crucified because of poverty, he isn’t far fetched. 2Cor 8:9, lets us know that Christ was made poor on the cross so that we might be rich. I humbly call on Bishop Oyedepo and Pastor Ibiyeomie to call Korede to order. Money is not salvation. Lazarus was poor and made heaven! Jesus died for the poor and the rich.

You just reminded of when I was a young minister, I remember after one program where other ministers spoke about their purity and virginity, at that time I hadn't done it anyway but I admit my weaknesses to the youths, the shock on their face during the meeting and the number that meet me after. No He isn't, infact the only time He was "disturbed" by it was because of a man's wickedness. You see God permitted a merciful law for widows who lost their husbands and didn't have children so Moses said the next of kin should marry her and raise children for his brother and those children would inherit their father's possession and take care of their mother.

The issue is, some men, especially this one slept with a certain woman and did withdrawal, or was masturbating on her thighs so she doesn't get pregnant. So because of his wickedness and selfishness, well God struck him.


And also if you are talking about fornication, free sex givers and takers, people who engage the opposite without commitment but for mere material gain or pleasure. It's wasting away one's life, no Father would like that. Using people like objects. Infact you would notice if you studied the scriptures fornicators were worse than prostitutes. E.g Rahab, look God knows the heart of everyone, he knows girls that are forced into it, kidnapped into it, and those who it's not for survival or lack of options it's just wicked lust even at the expense of others relationships they just don't care.

All happened thousands of years before anybody heard of Jesus

John Jackson isnt he the one whose books actually show how Catholics got there version of Jesus and corrupted God's word.

The issue here is Jesus isn't God and wasn't born on 25th of December. I am aware of some of the false Christs and many sons of gods from different eras and religions

Scholars have already looked into that and discovered that the ancient authors used a writing skill called "typology " to create a new story from an existing story.

By doing that, the ancient authors wanted their readers to understand that the new character is a continuation of the old. Example; they introduced the character Jesus to became a new type of Moses in the new testament. The authors of the new testament wanted the "Jews" to understand that Jesus was a continuation of Moses. This way, they'll accept him and quit rebellion against the Roman empire.

You probably must have read about it already in the book: Caesars Messiah- the Roman conspiracy to invent Jesus, otherwise you have to be a very intelligent person to even suggest that

if that is the case then Matthew did a very horrible job at that.

To properly invent a story why invent one that isn't acceptable by the Jews?
