Rev.13.15 - He was permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.
Rev.13.16 - He required everyone--great and small, rich and poor, slave and free--to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead.
Rev.13.17 - And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.

For this reason, Apostle Paul wrote to warn Timothy saying, "Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirit, and doctrines of devils".

Notice, that Paul did not say that they will fall away unto idolatory, but unto "false doctrines" and "seducing spirits" (unto spirits working miracles and signs and lying wonder; with which they seduce men to believe in their false doctrines). For men shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (sweet lies).
( 2 Tim 4:3-4)
Most importantly, Christ himself warned his disciples saying, "if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce (by "seducing spirits" if it were possible, even the elect.
(Matt 24:23-24) (Mark 13:22)
This "false Christ" or "The man of sin" opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
(2 Thes 2:4)
Take note; while Paul was preaching to the Athenians he said, "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands. Neither is worshiped with men hands". And Christ also said, "the hour comes and this is the time when the true worshiper shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth.
(Acts 17:24) (John 4:23)
Notice, that Paul do not believe that God still dwells in Solomon's temple at Jerusalem. Rather, Paul believes that God dwells in you and your body is the temple of God.
(1 Cor 3:16)
Therefore, it is very obvious that this "false christ" is not coming as a man to seat at Solomon's temple, but as a spirit (the seducing spirits) to seat in the mind of men. And most definitely, this is the three unclean spirits seen by John; come out of the mouth of the dragon (satan), and out of the mouth of the beast (false Christ), and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Which are the spirits of devils, working miracles. Because the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan (the devil), with all power, signs, and lying wonders.
(Rev. 16:13-14) (2 Thes. 2:9)
According to the prophecy of daniel, this "false christ" magnified himself even to the "Prince of the host" ( which is Christ) and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away and the place of his tabernacle was cast down.
(Daniel 8:11)
Understand that this "daily sacrifice" cannot be the meat and the drink offered by the Jews, because the Jews offer sacrifices only on the appointed days. But the sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving offered to God through Jesus Christ is a "daily sacrifice". Hence, this "false christ" will take away the worship made to God through Jesus Christ for himself. And as Paul said earlier the "place of Christ tabernacle" is our mind and our body is his temple. Therefore, this "false christ" will cast down the truth in the mind of the people to the ground. (Daniel 8:12)
However, John saw that men worshiped the beast (the false Christ) and they also worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast. Now who is the dragon? He is called the Devil and without controversy, the spirits of devils proceeds from the Devil. Therefore, he is the "seducing spirit"

Understand, the scripture says he will "magnified himself even to the "Prince of the host" "showing himself that he is God". Which is very evident in the trinity doctrine; which is made up of God the Father (whom they presume to worship), the son (the false christ) and the false holy ghost (the seducing spirit), making themselves equal with the only true God, the Father. Thereby showing himself that he is God also.
Hence, John saw "the false christ" open his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name. Now what is blasphemy? It means to make oneself equal with God or express disrespect for God. Thus, It is obvious that this "false Christ" and "the seducing spirit" will make themselves equal with the only true God, the Father.
(Rev 13:6)
Moreover, some will ask why would devil include God in his doctrine; recall that James said that "if you believe that there is one God; you do well: but the devils also believe and tremble. Hence, it's obvious that God the Father is indispensable even in the doctrines of the devils. Because even the devils tremble or worship God the Father.
(James 2:19)
Therefore, you can perceive by yourself the mystery behind the false trinity doctrine which is against the true doctrine of the Apostles (which is One God and One Lord Jesus Christ).

This doctrine of blasphemy (the trinity) is the mark of the beast spoken by John.
The scriptures says; men will receive it at their forehead, which means to receive the knowledge of this doctrine in their mind.
And in their right hand, which means to receive and believe this doctrine in their Heart.
"Right hand" is the prophetic word for "Heart"

Almost ten years difference and the word is still new today as it was that day, the Holy Spirit is speaking, do you hear what the spirit is saying?

Answer: Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). The best way to guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers is to know the truth. To spot a counterfeit, study the real thing. Any believer who “correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) and who makes a careful study of the Bible can identify false doctrine. For example, a believer who has read the activities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 3:16-17 will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity. Therefore, step one is to study the Bible and judge all teaching by what the Scripture says.

Jesus said “a tree is recognized by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching:

1) What does this teacher say about Jesus? In Matthew 16:15-16, Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware of anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ sacrificial death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.”

2) Does this teacher preach the gospel? The gospel is defined as the good news concerning Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). As nice as they sound, the statements “God loves you,” “God wants us to feed the hungry,” and “God wants you to be wealthy” are not the complete message of the gospel. As Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” No one, not even a great preacher, has the right to change the message that God gave us. “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Galatians 1:9).

3) Does this teacher exhibit character qualities that glorify the Lord? Speaking of false teachers, Jude 11 says, “They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.” In other words, a false teacher can be known by his pride (Cain’s rejection of God’s plan), greed (Balaam’s prophesying for money), and rebellion (Korah’s promotion of himself over Moses). Jesus said to beware of such people and that we would know them by their fruits (Matthew 7:15-20).

For further study, review those books of the Bible that were written specifically to combat false teaching within the church: Galatians, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, and Jude. It is often difficult to spot a false teacher/false prophet. Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his ministers masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15). Only by being thoroughly familiar with the truth will we be able to recognize a counterfeit.

When false teachers try to teach others about false teachers and false prophets or raise prayer points against them, it will confuse you into thinking o this guy can't be false he is praying against those who are false. 😏

They will justify their own falsehood and attack lesser known unaccepted false teachers, didn't the phrasisees and Sadducees argue and accuse each other

So saying, "will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity." Will mislead you into accepting the doctrine of trinity without you even verifying if it's God's word and doctrine

The trinity doctrine teaches that God the Father, the Son and the Holyspirit are equal and one and the same God.
   Although a very popular and widely accepted doctrine among christains the trinity doctrine is unbiblical and not in accordance with the word of God. The word Trinity does not appear in the Bible neither was such doctrine taught by the Apostles or known to the early Christains.
The trinity doctrine was instituted by men at the Council of Nicaea in AD325 and at Council of Constantinople in AD381.
The trinity doctrine has it's origin in pagan Sun god worship that was started by Nimrod and his wife..



Implications of the Trinity doctrine.

This doctrine has severe implications and consequences as it teaches that Jesus is not the literal Son of God,that Jesus is the same age as the father and has always existed along side him but this will make them twins and not a real  Father and Son it also teaches that the holyspirit is a being  Co-equal and  co-eternal making them triplets.

Thus the trinity doctrine denies that both the father and son are two different persons thus it denies their personality or persons.

Apostle Paul taught Christains that the Antichrist is anyone or teaching that denies Jesus is the son of God and thus denies the father and son  1John2:22-23,1john 4:3
It distorts who God says he is.
The doctrine of trinity also lends credance  or promotes the Catholic teaching that Mary is the mother of God  since it claims Jesus is   God and Co-equal to God. It is not surprising that this trinity doctrine was instituted by the usual suspects the Catholic Church and they claim it is the foundation on which all other of there teachings is based on.

Note:The angel that delivered the message  to Virgin  Mary  told her that the  child will be called( the Son of God) and not God. Nothing stops God from describing Jesus as God or his twin or avatar, rather he  used the adjective SON of God to distinguish him from the Father.

Conclusion.
The trinity doctrine cannot be proved in the Bible neither does it have any divine origin or inspiration.
It is one of those man made doctrines that have crept into Christaintity. it is unacceptable to God and contracdicts God's word about himself.
A lot of lies have been sold to us as Bible doctrines which are not Biblical, I urge the readers to do more research on this topic and to diligently search the word of God  2 Timothy 2:15, just like Paul said that we should prove all things through the scripture, rightfully dividing the word of God and not depending on men or some few Bible verses that have been lifted out of context inorder to suit a preconcieved  belief or idea.1Thessalonians 5:21

Worship of The False Jesus of The Trinity


We must make a point clear about the Lord Jesus before we proceed, that He is not the second person of the Trinity nor is the Father the first person, nowhere was He called a second person of trinity in scripture, and that the Trinity doctrine does not originate from God. The religious people of the world believes the Lord Jesus to be equal with the Father. Their unfruitful argument is crushed when we look into 1 Corinthians 15:27-28; For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. If the Son shall be subject unto the Father, then have we been duped by Trinitarians.

If we would look into what Jesus said about the Father, this would solidify our claim. John 14:28; Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. That seems quite obvious. So the crowd says what about Matthews 28:19 and 1 John 5:7-8? After much research we realised that these verses were not in scripture until after AD 300, they were added to strengthen the Trinity doctrine, these are mere interpolations. If the best verses to support such false doctrine were added to scripture does not that make it even more suspicious?

Another stronghold of the trinitarians is found in John 1:1, let us get the true interpretation so we would no longer be tossed about by every wind of false doctrine. John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was (a) God. The confusion for most people often springs up from the "and the Word was God," we would be saved if we had interpreted as "and the Word was (a) God," for the latter is as accurate as the former. Jesus is a God Who Has a God, this is strengthened by Psalms 45:7; Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And also Revelation 3:12; Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. If Jesus was equal with the Father, would the Father be His God?

The trinitarians argue that their god is not three but one, three personalities but one god. If there be three personalities, that simply is three gods. This has led most to serious confusion, some don't believe the Bible anymore because of this fatal error. Is God an author of confusion? Is He willing to befuddle His children and leave them beclouded? No! God never wills to leave us confused, this is why Christ Jesus sent forth the Holy Ghost to lead us into all truth. But trinitarians believe God himself to be a mystery and an author of confusion, and that's not God, but Satan. Another confusion here is about the Holy Ghost. They believe the Holy Ghost to be the third person of the trinity which is another falsehood. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit that fills the Father and the Son, the very life of the Father and the Son, He is often referred to as the Spirit of God. What sort of Spirit is he? A holy Spirit! What sort of Spirit is Jesus and the Father? Holy Spirit! Has the Holy Ghost a separate personality apart from the Father and the Son? For this is the Spirit of the Father, can His characteristics be different from One Who owns Him or from His Source? Herein lies the confusion, the Spirit of God is the complete representative or manifestation of the Father and also the Son. Nowhere did the apostles prayed or sang to the Holy Ghost. Prayers are offered in the Holy Spirit to the Father in Jesus name.

As the spirit in man is subject to man, for the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet, so is the Holy Ghost to the Father and the Son. Saying the Holy Ghost is equal to the Father is the same with saying the Father is equal to the Father. That appears unreasonable of course. For the Father is a holy Spirit! God is Spirit. For the Spirit manifests the persons and presence and power and glory of the Father and the Son. This is why the Spirit is often referred to as an IT, and other times an HE. 1 John 2:27; But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as IT hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM. HE sometimes manifests the persons of the Father and the Son, other times IT appears as their power, glory and presence. So then who here is still deceived to worship false gods of the trinity? To worship the gods of trinity is to deny Jesus is come in the flesh and that God was not manifest in the flesh. This is the denial of the ages, that righteousness, holiness, godliness is not come in the flesh! The Father is the Source of all things! Our Lord Jesus came to restore us to the Father, not to Himself, even though He is worthy of worship, He humbled Himself before the Great God, the Ancient of Days, that His will might be done. In the power of the Holy Ghost are we to worship God, the Father in Jesus name!

Isa.44.25 I (YHVH) am the one who exposes the false prophets as liars by causing events to happen that are contrary to their predictions. I cause wise people to give bad advice, thus proving them to be fools.

"Son of man, speak against the false prophets of Israel who are inventing their own prophecies. Tell them to listen to the word of the LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Destruction is certain for the false prophets who are following their own imaginations and have seen nothing at all! What about the others? Hmmm, well, it is well if you answer God's call today then you are chosen by God to be one of His people, but the promise of salvation is for His people.

Jesus builds his church

Even the dumb get saved, even the dumb pray

If you sincerely believe that mere confession would save you, then who ever taught you that is helping the devil destroy you. Believe doesn't lead only to confession either of your sins or that Jesus is Lord but true believe leads to obedience to God, and to the one true God revealed by his son Jesus Christ.

No matter how many times you shout or call the name Jesus you will not get saved, salvation is through the name of Jesus by being baptized in his name, believing in Jesus and obeying his words, believing that the son of God who died and rose is our Lord and Christ and obeying the commandments to love God and love others as yourself.

1John.3.21 - Dear friends, if our conscience is clear, we can come to God with bold confidence.

We should know that to believe in the name of Jesus doesn't mean to call upon the name of Jesus. To call upon a name is to pray to that name or person. A name signifies authority, authority has been given to Jesus but does that mean God doesn't have authority anymore, no it doesn't. To believe in a name, is to believe in that person's authority.

I have usually excused some of these things (teachings) as human error but in as we are weak as long as we are willing, just as the spirit of God lead the church in Acts in it's growth, he will lead us into correction as well unless if that which is in us is not of God. But the root of such human error should not be said to be from God, it was not the spirit of God that made some rise up and claim circumcision was necessary for salvation so also it is not the spirit of God that adds things Jesus never commanded us to do especially when they contradict the love that Jesus preached and taught. In truth THEY WERE NEVER SENT BY GOD OR HIS SON IN THE FIRST PLACE

Instead of believing and turning to the one true sovereign YHVH, the Almighty Most High God, the creator of heavens and earth. They want you to believe that God became three persons, Father, son and Holy Spirit, so what happened to God when he became three persons doesn't that mean they are saying God doesn't exist but what exists are three gods.

No matter their back and forth, do not forget the point, the Holy Spirit is not YHVH God

The one called son of God is not god the son, God made Jesus Lord and not god the son, whoever is god the son is an associate of darkness, claiming to be God, the false christ coming to the world. 1John.4.2 This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God.

But you all claim Jesus is God and was God and not a human, you lie that he became both God and human, but here is states that Jesus became human.

1John.4.5 - These people belong to this world, so they speak from the world's viewpoint, and the world listens to them. (6) - But we belong to God; that is why those who know God listen to us. They told there are three gods you believed, yet when the true God speaks to you through us, you refuse to listen because you do not know Him.

You have rightly quoted, 2Tim.3.8 And these teachers fight the truth just as Jannes and Jambres fought against Moses. Their minds are depraved, and their faith is counterfeit.

For their own gains but to the end their destruction, they withstood him who God has chosen, trying to lead the people to destruction with their lies. But you see Paul was even clearer about such people

Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will go on deceiving others, and they themselves will be deceived. 2 Timothy 3:12-13

Now because you are excelling in your evil ways and believe doesn't mean you are right, but the more you deceive others to go against God's word the more you deceive yourself as well

2Tim.4.3 - For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. (4)- They will reject the truth and follow strange myths.

Have you all not rejected the truth that Jesus is the son of God, God's faithful, righteous and true servant but believe and follow strange stories and myths, calculations and formulations of men, fables of gods, and a god the son.

Are you not supposed to learn from scripture

and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. Yet you follow the said evil willingly because of the signs and wonders you lust after. If you will not turn to the one true God through his son Jesus Christ who will save you?!

All these ones are false anointed ones and false prophets

Have you ever heard some pulpit speakers, quote Psalms 105:15, touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.

And then say they are untouchable

Well 1 Chronicles 16:22 and Psalm 105:15 speaks about God's protection on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, because even when there were threats and harms, God delivered them. And deliverance being the key word, in that the people of Israel where actually oppressed and harmed but God delivered them. God's anointed and His Prophet, Jesus was harmed and killed but God delivered him. Abraham Isaac Jacob were not untouchable they were delivered and protected by God and indeed God rebuked those who hurt them.

So where did this feeling of being untouchable come from. Oh don't speak against him or them, they are anointed. Do NOTE we are not to touch or harm God's anointed, David didn't harm Saul so I am not here to harm anybody but to share God's word.

Anyway Matthew 24, Jesus says something very interesting here

At first when you read this, you think many people will come out and claim they are THE Christ but then people will think they are crazy, because there can only be one Christ so why should the disciples of Jesus be careful when they already know that. Well, what if we read it this way

Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am anointed.' They will lead many astray.

Wait did we forget that Christ and Messiah means anointed?!

Jesus tells his disciples who were wowed by beautiful structures to be careful of those who will come IN HIS NAME claiming to be ANOINTED

So they are not speaking against Jesus and claiming that Jesus is fake and they are the real Christ, NO, they come in his name, in the name of Jesus, saying they are anointed

You know Matthew 24 wasn't the first time Jesus was asked about the temple, and the temple is a place of worship and when Jesus says it will be destroyed. The first thought may be, then where do we worship, isn't this supposed to be the glorious temple with greater glory. LA fire someone posted that God protected a church building, it goes to show how much value we give to "structures" but Jesus rejected the temple, and the mountain and told the Samaritan woman the time is coming when the TRUE worshippers will worship IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH not on mountains or in temples.

That's just crazy, Jesus could have said go to the temple, be in spirit hear the truth and worship God. Like how many times does Jesus have to reject the temple before we get it, Stephen literally got arrested for this, Acts 6:13.

Matt.24.11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall increase, the love of many shall wax cold.

Now if you don't know what Iniquity is, and that it is connected to idolatry, check my messages on nairaland and telegram on iniquity, it is because until you understand what it is, you will realize and see why the love of many have gone cold and how this is brought about by false prophets, of whom God spoke about in Deuteronomy 13.

Many will turn away from the true faith, because they are offended, Jesus isn't doing what I want, they will betray and hate each other. Meanwhile the gospel will spread globally.

Let me paraphrase from verse 23
"Then if anyone says to you, "Look, here is an anointed one here or an anointing here!' or "There!' do not believe it.
For false anointed ones and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect, God's chosen ones--if that were possible. See, I have warned you.

Don't believe it, don't go and look for them.

Has anyone ever invited you for an anointing and miracle service where is not one true word of God there or only the corrupted versions and you were not deceived? Well would I say lucky you, even though it's not about luck but about the fact that it is because you are one of God's chosen ones.

Should I start from experience how this men say they received power from another man and not from God or those who claimed to have received it from God don't even know God's word. When someone asks how can there be so much miracles and still so much errors, well it's because they are the false anointed ones.

When you don't know the true identity of the son of God, you will believe a false one

Okay I will call upon the name of Yahweh or Jehovah so that I can guarantee my salvation, you better calm down till I teach Joel 2, even from that verse 32 alone, you see that there's something occuring that makes that condition and promise available.

Have you not read, Prov.1.28-29 "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD,


Stop looking for an easy road to heaven, you will end up in hell that way, BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY AND NO EASY ROAD TO HEAVEN. STOP DAYDREAMING

Someone tells you call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved, and you call upon the name of Jesus and go around believing you are saved, whereas you are not.

You believe you are saved so you don't have to obey the commandments, you don't have to give, to love, to pray, to wait. You believe it soo much, you even did miracles and wonders in his name. At this point I remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7, calling me Lord lord will not save you if you do not do the will of God.

If you like call Jesus Yahweh, call him Jehovah, do all the miracles in his name, you will not be saved does it mean serving God is pointless, first off you were not serving God, God never forgets our labor of love.


When we say call upon the name of YHVH, we mean pray to Him and He saves us by sending us salvation, Jesus.


Jesus can only save and keep those whom our Father God has chosen to be saved. Jesus has received the authority to protect and cover them but not predestine those to be saved, and also to judge the rest with God's judgement. John 17:9-12

That's why we are children of God, not children of Jesus, we receive God's gift of eternal life through the death of Jesus whom God gave life to, and we receive it as an inheritance, becoming co-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord, like a bride who receives an inheritance at the death of our husband. (I wish I could quote every single verse that agrees with what I am writing)

When we speak about the name of Jesus we speak about the authority given to Jesus

When Jesus resurrected he received complete authority over death, for our resurrection into eternal life. To understand the difference, is Lazarus who was resurrected could still die, but whoever is resurrected on that day, will not die.

You need to understand the authority Jesus had on earth before he resurrected, and God who gave it to him, because it is that authority given to Jesus while on earth that Jesus gave to we believers who live on this earth. even though Jesus had that authority he prayed consistently to God.

Let's not talk about that you always want we ministers of God to pray for you, because what is at stake is the salvation of your souls while you continue in an error that leads to destruction and not salvation. So on authority from Christ, the name of Jesus.

We saw earlier Peter who exercised that authority of Jesus's name and the power of God's word. And we need to realize that receiving authority from God doesn't make us equal to God. Even Jesus who received all authority in heaven and earth that will pass away doesn't have God's authority which is above heaven and earth, and can destroy heaven and earth with His coming. Jesus doesn't even consider himself equal to God, but some with smaller power and authority are dreaming themselves to be a god.

Jesus that is at the right side of God is called God's servant, God's son, our high priest and not God but our brother. the fact that our Lord Jesus calls himself our brother should humble us

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory. Romans 8:29-30

A chosen generation,... called out of darkness 1 Peter 2:9

I want you to note that Jesus called for repentance, for men to turn to God and then God draws people to Jesus, so when Jesus calls, it is those whom God draws that go to him and respond to him. We will still see that in other verses. Okay one more place that shows we pray to the Father and not call upon Jesus.

At that time you won't need to ask me for anything. The truth is, you can go directly to the Father and ask him, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. Then you will ask in my name. I'm not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf,.. John 16:23,24,26.

Jesus is clearly saying here, don't ask me, ask God. Don't call upon me, call upon God, pray to God.

Praying in the name of Jesus doesn't mean asking Jesus to pray for you. Jesus intercedes for us as our high priest not because we ask him to. And by the authority of Jesus we approach God boldly, Hebrews 4.


Jesus is not the destination, Jesus is the way, that's why those believe in Jesus are called followers of the way, our goal is to return to God, to go to God, there was no way before till Jesus came, there was a veil and the only way is Jesus because he is the only one sent by God for this purpose. He reveals God to us and In John 16:25, Jesus said then I will reveal the Father clearly.

Praying to Jesus won't save you, we pray through Jesus to the Father. Jesus never taught us to Pray to him, but to our Father God. Our Father who is in heaven, holy is your name.

When we say "in Jesus name" it means we are calling upon God and coming to Him through Jesus, the way He established we should approach Him by. Before the resurrection the disciples called upon the Father without the name of Jesus but after his resurrection they had to, because that was the only way to approach the Father.

You can't call upon Jehovah without the name of Jesus, and to confess the name of Jesus is to believe that God sent him and glorified him. And so we honor God by acknowledging the honor bestowed upon the son.

Let's go through some of Jesus's teachings

John.14.13-14 - You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it!

Now do you read, "you can ask ME" you don't. What Jesus will do isn't because you ask him but because the Father commands him, and thank God there are more verses records what Jesus says and whom you are asking.

You may say, well Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1 that we call upon the name of Jesus, my immediate response is, does Paul say why? Did he say doing so will save you?

Infact, epikalesētai and epikaloumenois are two different terms with the same root epikaleó, the one used in Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13 is epikalesētai call upon, while 1 Corinthians 1:2 uses epikaloumenois, which I believe means "proclaiming" Jesus.

Now read it like this: 1Cor.1.2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who proclaim the name of our Lord Jesus Christ--their Lord and ours:

And here to proclaim Jesus is to honor him not to pray to him, but if you won't accept well you will continue praying to him

This event continues in Acts 4, and still Peter doesn't proclaim Jesus is Jehovah or God, but God's servant whom God has glorified by giving him authority which we believers have received and use.

Acts.4.7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, "By what power or by what name have you done this?"

It was to this question, Peter answered by the Holy Spirit, he was healed in the name and power of Jesus Christ, whom you crucified but God raised from the dead, that name testifies of God's salvation from death.

This is where I am going to; then they were beaten, and what happens next they prayed. They called upon the name of the LORD

Acts.4.24 When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. "Sovereign Lord," they said, "you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them....

30 - Send your healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
31 - After this prayer, the building where they were meeting shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. And they preached God's message with boldness.

Praying to Jesus won't save you, we pray through Jesus to the Father. Jesus never taught us to Pray to him, but to our Father God. Our Father who is in heaven, holy is your name.

When we say "in Jesus name" it means we are calling upon God and coming to Him through Jesus, the way He established we should approach Him by. Before the resurrection the disciples called upon the Father without the name of Jesus but after his resurrection they had to, because that was the only way to approach the Father.

You can't call upon Jehovah without the name of Jesus, and to confess the name of Jesus is to believe that God sent him and glorified him. And so we honor God by acknowledging the honor bestowed upon the son.
