anigbajumo: There is a statement of fact I want you guys to understand. “ No judge born of woman can impeach Tinubu till next four years” Except you are trying to live in self denial. It’s nothing but basic fact, I don’t force anyone to believebut this man has the other three arms of Government in his pocket, This is someone that’s even more democratic smarter than OBJ, GEJ and Buhari combine. What we are seeing is Ipob in operation, and they are ashamed to quickly go back to their biafra ish hence the increased attacks on the person of BAT. Na their way |

They should focus on winning in court, uniting the country and working for the populace. He and FFK will only ruin this dispensation if they get in... Tinubu really needs to surround himself with intelligent and wise folks. are the people on the other side cautious with their own words? Bayo is not a govt official so why the fixation on him |
Politics › Re: SAN Chides Lawyers Spreading Report Of Alleged Meeting Between CJN ,Tinubu by Goke7: 10:45pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
lhordspy: Very angry right now.
We are officially in a lawless country. Anybody and everybody is now allowed to use social media to spread fake news.
Things are falling apart all in the name of politics. Blame buhari for making the opposition feel overconfident of winning elections by working against his own party. Now they can't bear the pain of losing even when it's so evident that they lost. They can't blame buhari cos they believed his cash policy and fuel scarcity issues ought to have swayed the elections in their favour. Buhari has to speak now and read the riot act as commander in chief for these fellows to sheathe their sword, hence they will continue to pull down any institution they feel can remedy their pain to the detriment of the nation. Anybody who thinks Buhari was never complicit in the manner and way the headless mob had taken the nation for a ride need to rethink. See how long the CJN was dragged and the rumor of Buhari not handing over took before we had a statement from aso rock. It's puzzling the way PMB keeps behaving even when elections are over. |

Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 6:58pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
Dannyset: Then the electoral act and the BVAS are useless. Also, the presidential election petition is as good as null and void. That’s why am not happy with the judgement. All Nigerians need to be sincere if we really want to end rigging. I think our elections is just based on hate and preference for candidates We don’t really have interest in transparent elections. We only agree it’s transparent when our preferred candidate wins. Bvas is dead with this judgement unless the Supreme Court thinks otherwise which I doubt |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 4:18pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
Dannyset: Honestly, if overvoting has to be compared with registered voters and not accredited voters, then we should just throw away the BVAS because that's the main purpose. That's what the judgment actually says. |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 4:15pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
phemy36: STEP BY STEP HOW ADELEKE WON
1. Resolved that the Tribunal was not right to have rejected the judgment of the Court of Appeal that cleared Adeleke of forgery.
In short issue of forgery has been settled by the Court of Appeal. The Tribunal was wrong to have held forgery against Adeleke.
2. Issues 5 & 7: Preference of server report for BVAS machines and the report of inspection. Also the issue of transmission of results by way of manual collation.
Resolved that BVAS machine is the primary source
3. Voters register is intrinsically part of accreditation. Section 137 of the Electoral Act, only lightens the burden of the petitioner not to totally remove the burden.
To prove overvoting, voters register must be tendered.
4. Oyetola's witness not an expert which he held himself out to be. PW 1 claimed to be an expert, he did not give evidence of his qualifications, he did not deny his membership of the APC.
His evidence was barren.
5. Further resolving the issue of over-voting, the Tribunal only relied on the Table provided by Oyetola and APC to give judgment in their favour.
The Tribunal was wrong because there was no evidence to support such claim of over-voting.
6. Voters register is intrinsically part of accreditation. Section 137 of the Electoral Act, only lightens the burden of the petitioner not to totally remove the burden.
To prove overvoting, voters register must be tendered.
7. FINAL VERDICT
The Appeal Court has set aside the Tribunal judgment of 27th January and affirmed the judgment of Gov. Ademola Adeleke.

Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 2:22pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
StainlessCup: A lot of you saying Obi's case would be affected by virtue of BVAS not enough to prove over voting. Obi isn't relying on over voting rather votes substitution and qualification basis.
Again, according to the new electoral law, governorship, senatorial or HoR ends at the Appeal court, any other appeal is to God. Only presidential appeal gets to the supreme court LP did not have agents at every polling unit so that will be difficult as well |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 2:20pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
senatordave1: True.affirmation of the manual voters register has also made it harder but the apex court might overrule it as the register is also in the bvas the most important bvas data is how many people were accredited on the day of voting at a particular polling unit. If we can not be sincere with that, forget bvas |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 2:17pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
ORIENTATION101: if SC uphold this result , politicians will rig shameless except inec want to do their job by strictly monitoring like what they did in abia and Enugu. If not for bvas pdp would have won abia. Bvas really hurt the politicians, anything to make it a goner will be their joy. If all Nigerians are truly sincere we must insist on bvas. But with the way adeleke supporters were threatening violence, what do you expect? |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 2:12pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
fergie001: There is no case in that Appeal.
One of the most difficult things in this world is proving over-voting in our Presidential elections. The only dynamics in that case is the FCT (25%), others will just be legal gymnastics. even that 25% is toast cos it can never declare the petitioners as winners |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Reinstates Adeleke As Osun Governor by Goke7: 2:10pm On Mar 24, 2023 |

ORIENTATION101: The court ruling on proving of electoral vote means
Only Bvas report is not enough to prove over voting.
Voters register of all polling unit is more significant
Omo anybody that want to use bvas in proving over-voting in presidential election should change strategy already This has always been my fear, Bvas may be gone for good. The Politicians never wanted bvas |

Why didn't you people call the DSS to arrest them.
Again if the elections were free and fair as your subsequent posts indicate, why is Bola Ahmed Tinubu calling for reconciliation?
The presidential elections were rigged, only those who want to be deceived will agree that Peter Obi's votes were not stolen.
You see how biased you people can be? Those that have committed offences that deserve to be thrown behind the bars are roaming the streets freely, while those who call a spade a spade are supposed to be arrested according to you. Look at Rufa Osen!, the guy started the Anti-Nigeria campaign using Ar!seTV. There wasnt any repercussion for his treasonable actions, instead the guy was trending. Other Journalists from different stations and radio channel are now following the path too now, they also want to trend. They now insult, malign, propagate hate against Nigeria at any given opportunity on air.
Sahararepoter, peoplesgazete and others are jumping on that trend too. They have insulted, maligned Tinubu, the president elect to next-to-nothing. Since people are getting used to it. They arent done yet, they are now moving unto the CJN, a whole CJN, the effrontery. There is nothing you can really do with this kind of fellows it’s all part of democracy. Trump did worse after losing elections still Biden is still President. Expect more propaganda like buhari not willing to handover news as we count down to the swearing in on may 29. Either Tinubu not having 25% in fct or inec not following dere own guidelines one of dem will surely get Tinubu dats just my joy, and dats why Dere is panic in APC camp. Either can lead Obi no where as he has no proof he won the election, even if there’s a rerun obi can’t win that’s why he’s asking for Tinubu to be disqualified. Obi need to find something else to keep entertaining his followers, time is running out as from may 29 he can’t stand the intellectual approach of a Tinubu govt. Buhari lame duck approach made Obi look intelligent like a star. That’s about to end and Obi knows it. He had better begin to think ahead of what’s next |
