The igbos always hit back fast when an uncomfortable narrative hits them in a very big way.
If doyin okupe had said something that fuels their ego, they will be all over the media worshipping him as Lord.
The igbos need to stop being emotional and understand politics as a game of intelectual wits and not convenience.
The kind of venom and bile nnamdi kanu spills out daily against other tribes in Nigeria, the igbos can't stand it in few hours if anyone from another tribe spills it against them like nnamdi does. |

Most Igbos didn't vote Atiku because of Obi. Igbos don't foolishly vote anyone, rather they go for the best candidate irrespective of tribe/region. As long as Nigeria is still one and the successive government have denied the east of developmental projects, Igbos will keep going to other regions were there are opportunities. And. Lastly, competition in the east is very high. If Eastern Nigeria is given autonomy to manage their resources without government interference, you will marvel at what they will achieve. Like the best candidates we see as SE Governors today . . You guys are funny, you talk as if your present and past governors are of different ethnic origin. |

For your information Atiku and late Yar'adua are far better and more enlightened than Buhari. Igbos are smart people and they know people for who they are and are blunt about it which makes other tribes to hate them. Checkout the video released here on nairaland about the kidnapped Kaduna students held hostage by bandits, these guys are approaching the southern states steadily. The better we leave politics aside and stop this barbaric acts the better for every southerner. Good day. The igbos only supported atiku cos of obi which is fine by any standard. We can only judge a leader based on his performance in that office, any other thing is mere assumption. And like I said if the igbos postulations are always right because they are smarter and know people for who they are, then the SE states should be best managed states with everyone migrating there and not the other way round. And I stand by that |

Also when you were warned in 2015, you called them a wailer...remember?
But now you know better. Foresight indeed Guy focus on your life and stop blaming others. You can't force your will on anyone. Learn the art of negotiation and take responsibility for your actions. At least almost all the south east states are still with pdp so by now they should be doing far better than others. You can't continue to blame others for your retrogression and you are also free to relocate to places you feel are better managed than what apc is doing currently. It's a free world. Blaming others can never bring true happiness. We yorubas don't blame other parts of the country for what happens to us. We take ownership, learn from our mistakes and move forward. By now if the igbos are truly right in all their postulations, we should be seeing mass migration to the SE region by all and sundry and not the other way round. |

I don't think Igbos are happy. Majority of Easterners want you guys to take action and stop trying to please the northerners. Northerners don't play fair especially the fulani people, they are brutal and vicious. I don't think the Igbos will take such inhumane actions melted on South westerners likely. The earlier the Yoruba nation leave politics aside and tackle this matter of bandit attacks seriously the better for them. Those guys are ready to bring in their vicious brothers to settle in areas that they conquered and thereby endangering the southern region as a whole. The north east is a crisis area and nobody prays for such to happen in any southern state because it will affect everyone irrespective of tribe. Your point is funny, please which northerners? Did the igbos not line up behind atiku in the last election? If atiku was president, will he not be boss to obi? We are not deceived, this is how you guys are, when we accuse you of double standards you look for an excuse to divert. This is how the igbos claim they wanted to free awolowo through the 1966 coup. Who is deceiving who here? And who says the SW will not address the bandit issue? Have there not been efforts over the months and years? is insecurity not in every corner of this country? Abeg swerve, tell the eastern governors to stop playing politics and also deal with the insecurity in the SE. Let everyone mind their business |

Omoluyi: My worry is how nairaland has become a battle ground for Ibo and Yoruba as if the activities of the bandits don't affect us all. Let's stop the spread of hate and confront our common enemies. It is not good for the east if Yoruba land is taken over by criminal elements. The Ibo have huge investment in the west than even in the east so, whatever affects the Yoruba will equally affect the Ibo one way or the other. Let's come together and stop fighting ourselves here. I love the way the ESN is protecting their land, I pray that God help us in Yoruba land too. Pls enough of hate here and let's spread love henceforth You better wake up to reality. jneutron4000: Leave the Igbos let them keep rejoicing, it obvious news like this gives them joy. We Yorubas are not stupid, we know them very well, It is a fact that Igbos are killing Yorubas more than the Fulanis, directly and indirectly. Both Igbos and Fulanis are our enemies and we would cut them into size. Our Vulnerable Yorubas that seek refuge in Benin Republic are still home as Benin Republic is also home to Yorubas, in fact more vulnerable Yorubas such as the elderly ones, the younger ones and women will still go seek refuge because Fulanis being cowards always go for sort targets. Men are secretly working to completely flush out terrorist in Yewa axis. Just last week an Igbo family was apprehended because they were involved in kidnapping in Ogun state (Below is their picture), they are pretending to be saint. Let them enjoy this thread, call Yoruba all sorts of names, we shall see who will cry las las. Their ESN now has created a false narration and mirage that they are super, they are sophisticated they are downgrading Yoruba security architecture, painting a narrative that their is more capable. We shall see how it we end and who is the real coward. They are always masters of false narrations everywhere, when a narrative don't suit them, they will shout Lagos-ibadan media propaganda even if the media organization is not in the SW. Left to them they should be the only one left to rewrite the history of Nigeria and tell the whole world how they own every inch of Nigeria. When they can't dominate or have their way they shout marginalization |

Someone else must always be responsible for the foolish acts we see everywhere as far as you guys are concerned |
Politics › Re: Herdsmen Chase Ogun Residents To Benin Republic by Goke7: 3:09pm On Mar 13, 2021 |
shadeze: First, most of these accounts pretending to be Igbos are actually Fulani people using them to cause disunity between southerners. I know that there are foolish Igbos among them who can't see the game the Fulani are playing and joined them in their foolishness but most of those accounts are actually Fulani people. Don't be surprised that it might be only one or two persons that are controlling all those different accounts.
Secondly, Igbos had nothing to do with your endsars riots. Those riots were perpetrated by Yoruba street urchins. All the people that were arrested and charged to court during that riot were Yorubas. In all the videos that we saw of the rioters, they were speaking Yoruba. The ones that went to invade oba's palace were all speaking Yoruba so it's high time you Yorubas also stop this nonsense propaganda you are carrying about Igbos. It's nonsense like this that makes some Igbos to join in when others are carrying propaganda against Yorubas because they see it as pay back time. don't be clever by half, my major point was that anytime there's a destruction in the SW, the igbos are happy whether it's done by the fulanis, yorubas or whoever, this is no propaganda, it's a fact and you guys will continue to find it difficult to defend yourselves by blaming others. Your people are all over the SW and instead of showing concern for the safety of all [which we don't give a damn of your useless concern] you go all over the platforms mocking the yorubas and you think we are stupid not to read in between the lines? shebi you guys will soon cry marginalization when the tables turn on you again as usual. Abascoh: I don't support what some of my igbo brothers are doing here but you people actually started this when you were celebrating the killing of igbo youths by the army during operation crocodile smile and other military operation. You were saying Igbos should be used as target practice and making mockery of Nnamdi Kanu for daring to challenge the Fulani hegemony in Nigeria. I know that's what's making some Igbos on this forum to pay you back in the same coins now that the shoe is on the other foot. The Truth is that the southerners need to come their senses and see that we are not each others enemies rather we are all facing a common enemy. Let's stop all this petty bickering and face the serious threats that we all facing from the Fulani herdsmen terrorists. Those Igbos that are happy because they think ESN are dealing with the herdsmen for now should know that these people don't give up like that, they will go and restrategize and come back with the full support of the federal government. This thing will reach everywhere if not stopped because their agenda is to conquer and dominate every part of this country so the south needs to stop all these pettiness and support each other to fight these people to a standstill before it's too late. You guys should learn to take responsibility for your decisions and not resort to blame games all the time. You blame Yorubas for the civil war, you blame Yorubas for the underdevelopment in the SE, you blame Yorubas when elections don't go your way, you blame yorubas for not having your own country when you are all over the SW, everything you lots hate and don't feel comfortable with you blame the Yorubas. They have made it almost impossible for this compassion to be repeated when another civil war they are clamoring for eventually starts. They are not different from the south africans that hate other africans despite the efforts other african countiries made towards ending apartheid. we are all over yoruba land to dominate that's what we are created to do dominate
we don't wish or desire to be yoruba we are two different people, we look people in the eye while greeting them, yorubas lay on the ground prostrate to greet people we are a proud race and fearless and dominant in nature
And don't forget awolowo is the founding father of bigotry in Nigeria, he introduced tribal hate in Nigeria even before Nigeria got independence if your desire is to dominate then you lots are not different from the Fulanis then. You are part of the major Nigeria problem to interfere into other people's businesses and territories.
