Atiku has finally played and dribbled his fans like messi, we all knew PMB was not going to attend this debate before now but Atiku just like Amaka, o disappoint o |
The Igbos will continue to find it difficult to convince Nigerians that the 1966 coup was not an Igbo coup no matter how they try. One of them in this forum have actually owned up to say that the coup was not properly executed as some of the coup plotters had their personal agenda and almost fought in prison to express their pain of the failed execution of the coup. It's high time the igbos own up and admit they are also one of the major causes of Nigeria's problems today. Their continual blame of other tribes in Nigeria for their own personal problems will continue to worsen their political fortunes. The igbos can take a cue from PMB who apologised for the June 12 debacle, even if it was for political reasons, at least it's a good way to start. The Govt of Australia had to do a public apology some years back for the way the Australian aborigines were treated way back in previous centuries. It's evident our nascent democracy was truncated by ambitious Igbo soldiers even if they claim it was for the benefit of Nigeria but the execution of the coup proved otherwise. The igbos should stop using the civil war which was a fallout of the failed coup of 1966 as a shield and blackmail to wipe sentiments. God bless Nigeria |
Tareq1105:Afenifere died with pa Abraham Adesanya. Since then we have no afenifere |
Odumakin keep sinking low, no shame at all all for a morsel of bread. Only an irresponsible man will be told to raise alarm when there is none |
ffk dey fear to got o court, dino melaye comes to mind |
Theresa may wet go soon waka with brexit. I de laugh |
Okoroawusa: ffk see your life |
Even the cjn knows he is at fault, he is only hiding under njc procedure to keep his job, the same njc procedure that could not rescue the former chief of appeal court justice Ayo salami. Personally I have no qualms but I think pmb is justified for keeping that inec woman on her job, shittu the telecoms minister is justified for not resigning. I only feel for Kemi Adeosun, she would have gather small liver and stayed on her job. It's a dog eat dog game in Nigerian politics! The same premium times that was doing count down for Kemi adeosun, wrote a public letter to pmb for the cjn to keep his job. We are all hypocrites as Nigerians |
ffk and odumakin, I pity you guys, if you are summoned to the court, the likes of the cjn and his geo political zone will not be there for you o, na Oyo una go dey as you know back home most sw folks are not with you guys? Learn from Dino melaye o! |
it's high time the Yorubas stop being politically correct, if kemi was from another geopolitical zone, she will still be on her seat, perhaps it's now justified for the Telecommunications Minister not to have resigned on his own NYSC issue. It's now dog eat dog in Nigeria's political hemisphere, the sw need to be wiser now else they may pay dearly for it in the future all in the name of being politically correct. I can see femi felana and even wole olanipekun who led the defense for the cjn. The day these eminent lawyers go enter gbege, even the cjn and his geo political will not be there to support them. The CJN is only hiding under the NJC due process to escape this criminal case, apart from that he has nothing else to hold on to as far as this case is concerned cos as a public officer he has contravene the laws of the land. But alas even the Niger delta militants are there for him. My Yoruba people make una shine una eyes, no be the person wey first reach police station dey win case |
Saraki is not a mature politician, did he not see PMB shaking hands with the CJN? |
BuhariAdvocate:How come we no dey hear about Jibrin again sef |
eshcol:They don't read, yet they will come here and be asking questions that even little children can't bother you about. Our Education system has made many Nigerians very low in emotional intelligence. I just tire |
eshcol:Someone is even asking me here if Nigeria is accountable to the world, wet in person dey see for this nairaland eh? |
orisa37:Read my earlier post where I said that even in the 60s where we practiced true federalism, there was corruption which is the reason the soldiers gave for the 1966 coup plot. We have a moral problem and crisis in Nigeria. It's in our DNA, no political restructure will solve the problems. If you say judicial reform, yea and am surprised no body has mentioned the judiciary so far, that is where we can tackle corruption headlong. But when a big politician is taken to court for corruption or any criminal issue, we all begin to shout. We have a moral crisis |
namio10:Have you read history enough to know that while Nigeria practiced the regional system of govt in the 60s that there was high scale of corruption? is that not the reason the Igbo soldiers of the 1966 coup gave for their coup plot? What does then south south region have to show for their additional 13% oil derivation which the FG is planning to increase. No matter where revenue goes to in Nigeria, there are hawks waiting to devour |
lexy2014:Oga, i am not here to win any contest. keep your opinion and I keep mine, okay? Have a nice day. |
This is why I opined that state govts in Nigeria are all frauds. Creation of states has further divided Nigerians. Nigeria will fare better having regions or provinces than states. My personal view |
lexy2014:Shebi you have answered that kegame is the world, so what more do you want me to say ![]() |
lexy2014:O boy na fight? Can't you see you have answered the question yourself? You have the answer already, why bothering me. Abeg chill! ![]() |
namio10:If you think restructuring alone will stop corruption, you are mistaken dear |
namio10:Now I know where you are coming from, if the President starts going after the foreign thieves, you guys will come here and still criticise him. See this has been a perennial problem from time immemorial due to our lack of foresight and vision planning so it's not a today problem |
lexy2014:Very myopic view, read more dear ![]() |
namio10:Yea because we have looked away from other revenue sources where some folks are bolting away with our money and remitting change into the federation account. Read wide my dear to know more. Don't be fooled or deceived that it's only oil money we have |
namio10:Even if we restructure and have federating units, each federating unit will still have to put systems in place to fight corruption. The question is are Nigerians ready? |
lexy2014:My guy, please read wide and do more research as no country can exist in this world in isolation. You have a made up mind as I can see if not you will know that I have answered your question before now |
urahara:That's not true cos you are underestimating the amount of huge investments in that sector. And mind you oil is not only the source of revenue Nigeria has but corruption and accountability is an issue as there are so many leakages in the system. |
lexy2014:Your question is very funny ![]() |
urahara:Agree because it is being stolen. Do you know that Nigeria itself does not know how much it's making from oil. That's how bad it is |
lexy2014:Good question, are you aware that Nigerian credit cards cannot be use on the Virgin Atlantic Lagos- London route? Do you know what Globalisation means? Do you know the international opportunities Nigerians are loosing out there because of corruption. You are just one of those underestimating corruption in Nigeria. Too bad |
StoneLucifer:You have just contradicted yourself by admitting that corruption in Rwanda is not as it is in Nigeria so what exactly are you talking about. If Rwanada has oil money like Nigeria, do you know what it will mean for that remote country in your own words. You guys are underestimating corruption in Nigeria. A country with so much oil money yet can't have a national air carrier like Rwanda. Let's continue to tell ourselves lies |
franchasng:Do you know how much funds are lying idle in many accounts because of BVN implementation? Think of that. Truth is we need to check the dictionary meaning of corruption and not rely on GEJ's definition of corruption if we are serious and want the world to take us serious too. That's the summary of kegame's message. Have a blessed day too. |
