Oga, if you're Yoruba and still reasoning like this, I must say you're really daft. Some People lost their jobs during the era of pdp, we had poor people during the era of pdp. Apc has had just four years of the presidency, yet you're ungrateful in spite of their achievements. Do you think igbos are fools and won't vote their son, obi? If you think Nigeria will be better under atiku, you're daft2, sir. Learn to support your own too, protect your territory. Jeez. I would expect you to know better as a man.

They call you sophisticated morons and you're acting the part? Continue.
Honestly those sophisticated morons are the ones the ignorant folks attacking the igbos suppose to attack. The happenings today in Lagos is a big disgrace of how things are so bad in the SW, the igbos have no reason to be attacked and have every reason to be vote for their own. Those sophisticated morons are actually the ones to be flogged and dragged in the streets cos yorubas still have the numbers in Lagos to swing the votes but we have a lot of sell outs among us in the name of sophistication.

Why would you encroach on a Governors space and not expect repercussionshuh Nobody tried that with Tinubu, when they did, he formed ACN from AD. Or you have forgotten the genesis of ACN ??
Tinubu always pushed back when things are getting worse, do you know how bad the rift btw him and Fasola before now? The crisis in Ogun is child's play compared to what happened in Lagos especially with the ambode saga but guess what, where was the President stoned?. The Ogun and Ondo Governors are not good crisis managers simple.

Don’t mind him .
I maintain my stand that religion leaders are our problem in Southwest . Especially Christian leaders .
Southwestern governors are performing wonderfully well compared to southeast and the oil rich southsouth governors .
am a christian and am ashamed of our christian leaders turning against one of their own, a cleric just like them. They have lied to their congregations that osinbajo is not a Christian, someone who still performs all his duties in his local church despite being vp. I rest my case, I allow God to be their judge.

First What is Osinbajo being VP going to do for me and you or the average Yoruba ? See if people have lost jobs, businesses and therefore benefactors due to this Administration either FG or State, that is the only basis to vote for someone, performance not some ethnic or tribal sentiment, na Osinbanjo go put food for my or your table ?
Secondly in 2023 the north will betray Yorubas as they have always betrayed Yorubas like they betrayed Awolowo and Abiola even though Awolowo and Abiola gave them everything they asked for. So this your interest is based on fallacy.
my guy during the years of pdp, poeple lost jobs and businesses too, you guys talk as if Nigeria was dubai before PMB came. what was pdp's performance during 16 years they held sway and folks keep voting for them until 2015. See politics in Nigeria is based on interests from various groups and regions and the SE keep voting for PDP since 1999 till now as we speak. You think the SE are foolish? what will Obi do for the average ibo man. What has PMB done for the average northerner since he became President, have they all turn to millionaires now?

The assumption that the north will betray you is a way of chickening out of Political contests, only lazy folks who are not confident of who they are talk like that. The world is changing

So the PDP members of House of Rep that will win in Ondo state are ibos or Yorubas??
why should a governor engage in anti party activities? Did Tinubu engage in anti party activities when he didn't want fasola for second term? did fasola engage in anti party activities in 2015 when he didn't want ambode?

Akeredolu and Amosun are not mature politicians. Simple

my brother.. I'm from osun state too..osogbo...
I can tell you confidently that this is not about religion, most osun people who are voting against Buhari do not hate him,ask them why they vote PDP,more than 90% will mention "Aregbe"
our Governors made a lot of people hate APC..anything APC...

and secondly, I think tinubu is quite becoming a poisoned chalice to a lot of people in SW, they detest and hate the man brand of politics, the truth is the tinubu factor will cause Buhari a lot of votes in SW..a lot are seeing him as corrupt and too overbearing..
thirdly is that there are a lot of non-indigenes in most Yoruba cities..an example is osogbo...more than 80 percent of non-indigenes will never vote APC,now combined that with the little osogbo indigenes who will not also vote the party..
fourth is that PDP infrastructure whether we like it or not is very strong in almost all SW States and some Yorubas from beginning are traditionally PDP.
but brother believe me,our Governors are the major culprit, if they have done well, presidential for APC in SW will be walkover for Buhari.
my guy tinubu is not the problem but our people way of thinking, how good are the SE governors performing? has that made them detest PDP? even the SE governors initially dd not want obi but are they not mobilising for obi one of their own.

What is killing us in the SW is unnecessary and unhealthy rivalry and it will consume us soon. Too much analysis that leads to paralysis

Guy what the Bleep are you saying ? How is this a vote for or against Yoruba interests ? Because of Osibanjo that has zero say in the Government? Guy it is only fools that think the north will give power to a Yoruba president that isn't a former military man. What will voting for Osibanjo do for the average Yoruba man ? If you want people to vote for a particular party, you itemize what the party will do for them economically or socially than the other party, not give some psycho babble sentimental bullsit reasons.
if the sw can't mobilize block votes for osinbajo like the se is doing for obi, then what right will the yorubas have to insist that power must return to the south in 2023, if atiku wins, wll obi have a major say as vp with another northerner as President. why not protect your interest first and discuss the rest later. we speak too much grammar as southerners while northerners don't talk much but understand that politics is in the numbers.

APC might lose majority of the National Assembly seats in Ondo to the PDP.
Akeredolu sponsored his candidates in AA against the APC candidates that emerged from the NWC primaries.
AA is dividing APC votes giving the PDP an edge already. sad
this is the useless yoruba politics some of us are complaining about, when it backfire now, they will speak another grammar. Nonsense

Has PMB not performed enough? It's just fuçking evident that we Yorubas vote can't be totally relied upon, no matter the circumstances.

Under PMB, we have significant improvements in the Lagos - Ibadan expressway, railways nkór? Farmers are making it big. Tradermoni wey those market women no work for. N-power wey dey help people sustain themselves too.

Take a look back at 2015. GEJ does not deserve a single vote from SW after the overwhelming marginalization of the Yoruba's in his governance. Yet, he pulled over 40% despite the fact that our own son is on the ballot contesting against him.

Now, some ignorant people in SW are willfully lining up behind an AtikuObi government that will set a precedent of heavily imbalance political appointments and favours that will favour the SE.
and to think Pastors of Yoruba extraction manipulated their congregation for pdp is equally disturbing, something a cleric in the SE can hardly do. We get problem o!

I'm happy to see reasonable Yorubas like you. Even though I'm not from the SW, I grew up there and have a lot of admiration for them. There's a dangerous trend emerging from SW that calls for concern, I don't know when you guys will wake up and realise that Nigeria as it is has gone beyond being too nationalistic, regional interest should be paramount above all, It's everyone for himself, God for us all.
I see the way people from SE abuse you guys online, even those of them who earn a living staying in your region, and it drives me nuts.
An OPC member was alledgedly killed by Igbos today and I haven't heard of reprisals, this can only happen in the SW. Can anyone try that in the north, SE or SS? These guys are the boss in their respective regions, they don't take shit. The SW really needs to wake up from their slumber, else these same Igbos u see abusing u guys will go behind you to form alliance with the north and they won't do it half-heartedly the way u guys do it by splitting votes. I have said my own
we are aware of this fact but some of our yoruba folks are just too blind to see. I knew we had a big problem when I saw the likes of Falana and Wole Olanipekun defending a corrupt cjn but they all kept quiet when Kemi Adeosun was disgraced out of office. Our people are playing more Holier than the pope and it's affecting our economic fortunes.

Which conscience? So Ibos have no conscience? No wonder they called Yoruba sophisticated moroons. Liberalism and foolishness of the Yorubas are what the Ibo man called sophisticated moroons. Ibo will vote 98% for the party that gave them all the oil money at $118 and $140 per barrel without saving a kobo. They spent Obj foreign reserve of about $25 billion and still borrowed money heavily. Now, they want to come back again through their son.

So Ibo voting pattern is based on conscience but if Yoruba vote 98% or 95% for APC it is sentiment or tribalism . Is that not sophisticated moroons thinking?
mehen you are very right, despite the economic hunger, some of our Yoruba folks are still not smart, when kemi adeosun resigned, they cheered all in then name of Yorubas not tolerating corruption in their midst, but when the cjn was sent on suspension, some of our foolish yorubas started joining folks across the niger to condemn PMB, that was when I know some of our people are so naive. They can't read in between the lines to preserve yours first before anyone else. I give it to the Ibos, dem sabi wella even ibo folks who hated obi in the past all mobilized for him in this election but some of naive brothers joined others to lampoon osinabajo. Sophistication my foot, we dey do ourselves

What are you saying the yoruba man will get killed and the dog will be voted. But is it our fault, when our governors have no empowerment program for us and some bunch of kidnappers and drug dealer ibos are buying a third of the state. It's a complex issue we need to fix before the next election
You are right and I must for the first time on this forum admit that there is an economic gap in the south west that our Governors need to fix else the violence we saw in Lagos today will snowball into a major crisis soon.

The violence perpetuated in Lagos today is an offshoot of that economic gap

If not, how do u explain that Lai Mohammed became uncomfortable since he learned about PVT technology?

See this sentimental bigot quoting every person.

I am from Kano state and i am 100% sure that Atiku will get 40% vote from Kano. Also, let me tell you something you don't know a lot of our people in the north have encouraged under-age children to register and many under age children have collected their PVCs. But the good news is that this is not 2015 where we were all against GEJ in the north because of religious sentiment. Now We can not tolerate under-age voting as to ballot box snatching.

Very unfortunate, the other day our Imam wants to convince us to vote Buhari because he is a true Muslim than Atiku, because Atiku has ties with Christians, but many of us refused to succumb to that agent of hate speech. We only need a unified country where bigotry and nepotism isn't the top order of appointments. I am a true Nigerian and a Muslim Northerner and i will not vote Buhari.

The north Votes will surely be divided this time and i am 100% sure Atiku will win in a free-fair contest, only bigots like you will think otherwise.
you guys keep talking about kano, what about Katsina? The figures of pvcs collection from katsina no be child's play o. PMB has edged it here.

One of the most constructive write-ups, I have seen, it's folks working in offices and forming fine boys and girls that are complaining of the economy without having true facts to support their argument, the petty traders, artisans and pensioners have different stories to tell, yes we were doing badly initially but in the last one and a half years, things are picking up. Most Nigerians know the truth but as the writer said, they just hate the personality of PMB.
