Dogara's stay or removal isn't my point, it's the gagging I'm against, the matter is a national issue, it is not a party affair.... And you are correct, Bubu's naive "i can work with anyone" posturing gave birth to this and it will continue to haunt him... When people (crooks themselves) who know how the crooks in NASS operate advised him, he turned dat hin ear wey dey pain am sontains.. grin to dem, now the mess no wan clear for ground...
the dogara himself no get sense, person wey step down for you as a contestant for speaker, wey una pad budget together, u comot am for chairman post, chai that's why I said this present assembly na disgrace. This is what you get when kids suddenly find themselves in positions bigger than them, honestly PMB no try at all. Its telling a 13 yr old chap to drive in Lagos traffic, no be gbege be that?
Politics › Re: What I Don't Understand About Igbos And Yorubas. by Goke7: 1:18pm On Aug 05, 2016
its all politics, a particular people need to get back to power asap but they feel the other people may make it impossible or so difficult for them to get back to power so its actually a game of number and as many you can possibly to win to your side convincing them why the third party are so bad even though they like doing business with them secretly.

Nigeria is so complex than you think.

It's highly likely the people in charge of this APC people's party affairs have developed amnesia about what managing Diezani/Sanusi drama and Abba Moro's immigration scam in-house did to PDP's fortunes... They keep trying it, we keep increasing their rope, they...... lipsrsealed
Why?

The goodwill has been battered (incase they are living under a rock), won't serve them well to destroy it....

Mtcheww... yeye people.
Let's get this clear, even if dogara is removed today, will it change anything? bottom line is that the 8th national assembly of both the senate and reps are a bunch of disgrace and PMB has himself to blame by looking away when they were picking their leaders, that very day was the beginning of his woes in stirring the ship. we all know he meant well but he was too politically naive to allow the emergence of even a pdp member as dsp. Baba should just find a way to live with dogara and saraki for the rest of his tenure, I however wish him good luck in the adventure to edge out the rebels but it was an avoidable one in the first place.

Jonathan is up to something.... and seems he is also hell bent on shaming his supporters.

He passed a subtle message about keeping Nigeria as one just a few days ago, shortly after, he's asking for Sheriff's supremacy to be recognised, something is cooking!!!
GEJ supported sheriff from day 1, remember he personally congratulated sheriff when he became chairman, me thinks sheriff with his deep pocket sponsored GEJ's re-election bid in no small way.

If na you, who u go support, is it those small children like ffk, okupe and others who were collecting pocket money from you all in the name of campaign funds or someone who was a silent financial mover.

The folks I pity most are those who were brainwashed that pdp was a christian party while apc was an Islamic party and northern party, sheriff emergence made them look silly. Big time Politicians are not as divided as their silly followers and sycophants who are feeding from the crumbs that falls off from the Big boys' table.

That's why they were pouring sands there yesterday .I know that somebody is coming to visit. Why can't they leave it as it was so that they can see it as it is. For almost a week now, that place was hell of traffic stand still spreading to inner Apapa and causing motorists stranded for hours. Dangote unit of road repair spoilt it more after grading and downgrading it. It was just a heavy rain last week that exposed their shady repairs. He should extend this to tincan -coconut axis too. Hope something permanently good comes out of this and not for paparazzi.
I passed there yesterday and I hear wien no be small, its high time Fashola is redeployed to the ministry of culture and tourism, a technocrat is needed in the ministry of works and housing, power ministry should be carved out and headed by another technocrat.

when PMB said no to devaluation, some folks said he was a dullard, finally he was blackmailed to devalue the naira and yet we are complaining.

The naira devaluation was never the right step, our so called economic analysts keep confusing and misinforming Nigerians, they said foreign investors will come when we devalue, am yet to see those investors o.

I think sometimes we get over emotional as to what is the way forward, The devaluation thing was definitely not a good option in my opinion. I was one of those who stuck with the President not to devalue the naira. He was very right then, I only hope fuel price does not increase at this rate. Sometimes as Nigerians we need to learn more to absorb shock and think more before we leap.

You can't give what you don't have. GEJ is not good as a leader in all aspect. A good leader will have an ideology that people will respect and follow even after death. GEJ would have done brilliantly well as a lecturer because of his kind gesture and gentility but when it comes to politics he made the wrong choice in his life. Though he might have all the worldly materials needed to sustain himself till he pass on, but want he will only be remembered for will not passed 4 paragraphs, unlike the like of Muhammed, Jesus Christ, Adolf Hitler, Gadaffi, Nelson Mandela, Ojukwu (as we can see that many people are still pursuing his ideology), Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, Bola Ahmed Tinubu( hate him or like him he's a leader!!! he initiated an ideology and still remains relevant after he left office, even OBJ and other politicians that started the 3rd Republic phased out during or after GEJ regime not to talk of now and presently OBJ has bow to Tinubu ideology). In fact I read that GEJ minister had to apologize that she lost GEJ phone number (that's to show you how irrelevant GEJ Is), so GEJ should be left alone to rest
.
stella oduah no good at all, how she go delete her oga number just like that, GEJ truly has suffered and still pdp want to add more to his pain.

@ the bold
You asking this question shows that you are not being sincere. The standard of living under GEJ and under Buhari is clear for all to see.
The job losses under buhari and the number of companies that have folded up and left the country under buhari is there for all to see.

Yes there are nigerians demarketing the country with their actions but again there are also nigerians that market the country positively with their achievements. This is normal for every country and to some extent the they kinda cancel each other out.

But its a different ball game when the president of the country goes demarketing the country in front of international cameramen, world powers, elites, international organizations and what have you.

There's no argument here, its clear for all to see if only you can embrace reality
you are just being political here, GEJ and Okonjo themselves know the truth about our present economic woes with okonjo admitting that they lacked the political will to certain things that would have prevented what we are witnessing today.

Time will tell whether PMB is evil or not, I just hope when things begin to take shape cos nothing surely lasts forever, you guys won't come up to take credit for Jonathan again.

Truth is GEJ have used and dumped PDP, I wonder what those left in PDP are still looking for.

What APC and Buhari don't know is that a countrys' economy needs marketing and so far buhari and apc have demarketed the nigeria economy in different ways with their careless statements and chased the investors away.

Imagine Buhari going to an international event and saying nigerians are criminals, what kind of investor will want to invest in such country.
Or is it how they frequently say "nigerias' economy is in recession or in crisis"
Such statements shouldn't be coming from members of the so called economic team, you would think that they being professionals should know better
But where are all the positive statements in the past led us to? at 65$ per barrel of crude oil, same Okonjo iweala was already borrowing to pay salaries despite all her smooth talk to woo investors. All the lies we have been told over the years never diversified our economy.

The truth is all over the world, we already have a bad image when it comes to criminality and no country in the world even needs the Nigerian President to remind them, just few days ago, Nigerians were executed in Indonesia in drug trade, was it PMB who told them they were criminals? Being diplomatic with the true situation of your country has a limit it can go especially in this age of information technology where with a click of the button, you know what's up in any country in the world. We are the ones de-marketing our country with our sheer laziness and wanting short cut to wealth and prosperity.

One major problem has always been those who are making megabucks from importation, relevant govt agencies connive with these importers to frustrate local content as officials of these agencies make megabucks too but for how long are we going to tolerate this if truly we are serious about diversification of the economy

Any pastor accepting a gift of private jet in this harsh economic times does not have enough compassion for his followers.

If our economic fortunes as a nation improves, no problem but for now no pastor should acquire private jet when folks are hungry in the land. I commend apostle Suleiman for this.
