PDP was never an opposition party from May 29 last year, they have been seeing themselves as co-ruling party with APC especially since the day Ekweremadu became dsp, I remember that very day when wike and Fayose were in the senate chambers celebrating as if they just won Presidential election. PDP has been an agbaya party since May last year.

This has been the problem, we have never had an opposition party since APC became the ruling party, may be with the pdp senators stand now, we may begin to see an emerging opposition, but I have my doubts, those guys were never ready or bargained for the position they found themselves now.

This issue has been discussed on nairaland before where it was proved that its a different aisha buhari, if she was truly the one, this would have been easier for the pdp to bring to the front burner during the elections last year, even far easier than the waec certificate issue.

truth is pdp never sees themselves as an opposition, they see themselves instead as an assistant ruling party cos why confuse your supporters by saying that a rival party is fulfilling its campaign promises. Some are saying its matured opposition but this is actually a baby opposition party.

Aregbesola is de-marketing the APC and will make those who still have sympathy for the party begin to think otherwise. Many Christians abandoned oyinlola who is not a mulsim for aregbesola and stood with him all through his travail at the elections tribunal years back.

if this is what aregbesola is using to pay back christians in osun state, am sorry this may begin to change the dynamics of osun politics. Religion has never been an issue in osun state until aregbesola came in. I served in osun state and I know what am talking about.

The problem of PDP is from Atiku Abubakar wanting to contest for presidency under pdp come 2019 with senator Ike Ekweremadu as vice president and Sheriff as pdp Chairman is a great obstruction for this arrangement hence they want to replace Sheriff to Have their way by all means necessary!!!

Aregbesola is one of the governors de-marketing APC just like Fayose demarkets PDP.

There was no need for all this uproar in the first place, Osun state is not the only state especially in the sw where there are muslims, when the hijab issue came up in Lagos, we saw how it was handled but in osun its the other way round.

I just hope our supreme court will make a pronouncement on this matter once and for all in the nearest future.
