CAN need to come out to condemn the Niger delta militants to show their concern for Nigerians who suffer the consequences of blown up pipelines just like Nigerians also suffer as a result of the herdsmen attacks.
CAN need to be nationalistic indeed to show they do not support a particular region only. |

DropShot: Learn to move on. GEJ is history already. If he was not sleping on duty, he might not have been as Ineffectual as he was. We need to watch out for a trend that will soon be coming from the wailers, as the FG continues to roll out projects now that the budget have been signed, watch how the wailers will claim that gej started it. This will be their next song to discredit PMB. |
Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan Is Yet To Condemn The Avengers by Goke7: 1:00pm On May 07, 2016 |
Who cares about Jonathan sef, it is CAN and the Catholic bishops am waiting for to condemn the niger delta militants.
Their voice is so loud when the herdsmen strike but thunder fire CAN if they don't condemn the avengers or scavengers. Too much hypocrisy in Nigeria |

macfarland: So u claim GEJ was not serious with d conference? Did you follow it at all? U better go and look into d document. IPOB want Biafra cos they have lost faith in Nigeria and there's no going back on that till it is achieved. U can't live with people who don't love u... Can't allow you govern yet they won't survive without ur resources... Dats an error They only lost faith in Nigeria after gej lost out, why did they not contest with gej when he said Nigeria's unity was not negotiable? Its all deception and not many of us are falling for that crap |
Politics › Re: Niger-Delta Avengers Blow Up Oil Pipelines To Warri,Kaduna Refineries by Goke7: 10:58pm On May 06, 2016 |
Alezy: Well...truth be said, u have a point but since the politicians from here won't do anything about it, then I guess they need to help themselves out.
They kept shut because they actually saw GEJ as someone that will help bring more jobs and infrastructure to the region, unfortunately he didn't do much and majority of salaries paid to militants where actually paid to ghost militants who probably haf jobs already.
So I understand their anger. May God save us all. Amen bruv. |

macfarland: What has ur Buhari done with the GEJ 2014 sovereign national conference? It's dat part of the fight? This oil matter will break d country Gej conference was to drum up support for his reelection, not many took that conference seriously, only gej sympattizers thinks the conference made any sense and for christ sake if gej was serious, he would have started the implementation before leaving office but alas he himself never took the conference serious. The conference by the way was not sovereign as gej said that the unity of Nigeria was not negotiable. Ipob members and niger delta miltants never contested this until gej was voted out when they suddenly remembered biafra. |

Alezy: Yes very true, the state government has a problem there too and that's a norm in all states in Nigeria.
but there are certain project that re far more dan state government. that's why we have states and federal projects. if u have gotten to chevron in a community called Ogidigben in delta state, they have absolutely nothing. just imagine a community where chevron is, no light or good water.
The whole production goes to the federal government who in turns sends state allocation. This allocation goes also to all states in Nigeria. Remember that the cost to make a road in the SS is like 3 times the amount in states like bauchi, sokoto and the rest. but go and look at the allocation and see the difference. why do u think they are fighting for resource control. But you don't fight for resource control by destroying infrastructure, what are their senators and reps doing all these Years? The fight for resource control earlier gave them 13% derivation, why not fight for more through your representatives in the senate and reps? And what has been achieved in the region with the 13%? So many questions begging for anwsers. Political diplomacy is the best way and not public anger or hatred against other regions. The Niger deltans need to be more tactful. Oil will not be forever just like cocoa or groundnut pyramids of yesteryears. |

Hope nobody calls for secession

Alezy: U don't expect a particular region to have stuffs like that and don't benefit from it themselves.
They supply all oil and gas to every other region, the gas that generates light comes from them and alot. yet they don't have light at all, nor water to drink now it's fuel.
Wait....have u ever been to the creeks?? I will feel so sorry for ppl there So what have their states governments been doing over the years in giving them basic amenities? What has NDDC, Niger delta ministry been doing also? The problem is, folks in this region are not asking the right questions. They have been fooled to believe that all their problems is from Abuja |
Politics › Re: Niger-Delta Avengers Blow Up Oil Pipelines To Warri,Kaduna Refineries by Goke7: 5:29pm On May 06, 2016 |
cbrass: If you look closely the SW folks are quietly preparing themselves for take over with oil exploration in Lagos and Ondo, with the way these guys are going about bombing pipelines ,I pity the ND Exactly investors in oil and gas may begin to look west as the next hub for oil. If oil is in Lagos, it's most likely in Ogun, refineries may begin to spring up at a fast rate in the sw few years to come, the market is there and the States govt will cash on this. The Niger delta region lacks understanding of political diplomacy. They've been lied to that violence works faster. |

slimderek:
This information is for Nigeria people alone
CORRUPTION & WASTAGE: Buhari And Jonathan, At A Glance. FACT IS FACT.
1] Jonathan sold Petrol at N87 while Buhari is selling at average of N300 & above, yet Buhari supporters think Jonathan was more corrupt and wasteful.
2] When Jonathan Budgeted N1bn for feeding in Aso-Rock in 2011, and N517m in 2015, APC cried wolf and now Buhari's budget for same is N1.7billion. Yet Buharists are mute and still think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
3] Jonathan spent N1.4bn to service all presidential jets in one year while Buhari spends N6bn on same in 6month yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
4] Jonathan gave more funding to education while Buhari's 2016 budget favours Ministry of information more than education yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful.
5] Jonathan spent an average of N8million on each international trip while Buhari spends an average of N55million on each international trip, yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
6] Jonathan created Over 5.8millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari has sacked over 2million workers in 8months. Check Federal Bureau of Statistics.
7] Jonathan made Nigeria's economy the best in Africa and No 1 investment destination & quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs while Buhari has dragged Nigeria's economy down to 14th position in ranking in just 7months.
8] Jonathan left Naira exchange rate @ N185 to $1 but Buhari with his Adama and Eve economics has destroyed the Naira in just 8 months which now sells at N315 to $1.
9] It took Jonathan less than 2weeks to select his cabinet including foreign based technocrats while it took Buhari 6months to do same. Even with indicted people and no single economist among the 36 names.
10] Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is subsidizing who@) but buhari has spent N1.2trillion on fuel subsidy in the last 5 months and still no fuel while all Buharists have suddenly gone dumb.
11] Buhari/APC accused Jonathan of corruption but have not been able to pin one stain on him, while Muhammadu Buhari himself followed the crowd that entered into the #DasukiGate.
12] Under Jonathan freedom and liberty of Nigerians was not determined by party affiliation, but today under Buhari his perceived enemies and political opponents are leveled with frivolous allegations of crimes and intimidated with either the EFCC or the DSS.
13] Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but bags an illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from a university that have no PhD student and Not approved by NUC and yet Buharists respect his NEPA Bill more than GEJ's PhD.
14. Buhari used his secondary school principal's recommendation letter to become Military Head of State and again used Court Affidavit to become President and no one reminded him that these are the height of corruption. He Refused to declare his assets public, suppressing the FOI and denied all his 81 election promises and stayed in the last 8 months blaming former leaders. Jonathan was in that position, he never complained or blamed anyone, but faced his work even when Buhari's disgruntled brother ensured that Nigeria will know no peace. - Hope For Nigeria
