Change the change.
Keep it up PDP. All they need is to get a credible nationalist from North who can garner about 35% of northern votes. South West will be divided as usual with PMB getting slight advantage. South East and South South will definitely give PDP 90% votes. Unless Buhari sits up which is good for everyone and good for democracy. Even if PDP doesn't win the presidency, they will definitely reclaim more states and position the party well for 2023. PDP is a party for all and anyone wishing the party dead is an enemy of democracy. The party also needs a disciplined leader. The corruption in PDP only reflects the level of corruption in Nigeria. The corruption that has eaten up even our educational system. Parents now pay people to write common entrance exam for their ward. Yet in all these challenges, no one can deny that Nigeria and Nigerians became better in so many areas. Polio eradication, poverty, strengthening of democratic institutions, job creations, reforms in the banking sector, UBE, telecommunication, standard of living, entertainment and many billionaires emerged . What we need is to pick people based on their political ideology. PDP was not our problem but we are our own problem. You can't go to Enugu state and condemn PDP, even though Amaechi has left PDP, you can't say he didn't try. You can't say Akpabio didn't try. You can't say Yaradua in his short term didn't try. Elrufai was a strong tool in PDP. Late Dora Akunyili did wonders in NAFDAC. The coming of APC gave me joy but their divisive nature is not healthy for Nigeria. We need someone like Yaradua who is educated, visionary, incorruptible, humble and carries everyone along.
You may need to go and wake Yar adua from the grave to get those qualities you are talking about.

This guy matter just tire me. After holding several positions in Nigerian including being the president for six years, Jonathan still does not know how to talk. No wonder he could not rule. I don't blame him. In life they say you can't give what you don't have. Even Buhari that was accussed of not having primary six certificate talks sence better than a whole doctor, what a shame.

Education › Re: I Don't Like The Course Am Studying. by Goke7: 1:26pm On May 25, 2016
fisheries is a very nice course but the problem is that it is not appreciated at all in Nigeria, my advise if you can't change the course, Pls continue and try to come graduate with good grades so you can think of continuing with postgraduate studies abroad in disciplines like ecology and environmental management which are very well appreciated in the western world. if you can come out with a first class, the sky is your starting point.

if GEJ stay away, then he has indicted himself and pronounced himself guilty, pls don't compare hi to el rufai or ribadu, are they ex head of states?

This is the time for GEJ to prove if he is really an hero as they say, OBJ never stayed away when he was told he will be arrested by Abacha, despite being offered asylum abroad.

GEJ so called supporters keeps making him un-presidential even after office, na wa o!

Politics › Re: Petrol Price Hike, Buhari’s 1st Year Anniversary Gift To Nigerians - Ayo Fayose by Goke7: 10:17am On May 25, 2016
Fayose and his party are a very big disappointment, they claim GEJ removed subsidy and was heavily opposed then, what now stop Fayose with all his noise to motivate the NLC, civil and human rights organisations to organise massive protests this time around like we saw at ojota then.

Does he expect friends and admirers of the present Govt to carry out protests against the fuel hike? The non resistance to the fuel hike by the PDP just shows we don't have an opposition at all but just noise makers like Fayose.

If I may ask Fayose, what has all his noise in the last one year achieve? is he really putting the FG on its toes as his admirers are claiming. Personally am so dissappointed with the way the FG had an easy ride to get away with the fuel hike despite the acclaimed justification at all.

It just shows we can never have a vibrant opposition, whoever thinks otherwise is a huge joke
Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar Receives Ooni Ogunwusi At His Home by Goke7: 9:58am On May 25, 2016
the truth is the younger generation of traditional rulers like sanusi and this ooni of ife had very enterprising lives where they gallivant here and there before they ascended their thrones, sitting their arse in a palace all year round is damn too boring so I can understand their predicament..

Reason I don't envy these obas these days, we call it royalty but to folks like sanusi and the ooni, they feel they have been imprisoned for life. I bet they are not finding it funny at all. They are only happy on the day of coronation bu after that, mhen na hell o

This is one good thing that our president has done.
Every Nigerian, in particular Abuja residents, should be very happy about this and encourage him to stick to his guns.
Why?

This should have ripple effect of decreasing the astronomical, unrealistic RENT on houses and flats in the FCT.
The ministers are not complaining about NO accommodation.
Not at all.
They are complaining of not being paid enough money for a DECENT accommodation.
How much do civil servants paid on a minimum wage of N18,000 have for accommodation?

BTW, how much is the SALARY of a governor in four/eight years for the former governors- Fashola, Amaechi & Fayemi- to be able to pay for DECENT accommodation in Abuja?
How much huh
Why should the Oyo state governor pay N2 million to the minister from his state when he is owing salaries of workers in the state?
Under what BUDGET line did he pay that money from?
Is this not CORRUPTION?
Kachikwu and the other ministers need to be told the truth =>
Somebody wake me up, anonimi, you mean you wrote this? when did you start praising PMB? This must be a film trick chai
Politics › Re: Buhari’s Ministers Have No Accommodations - Kachikwu [VIDEO] by Goke7: 9:03am On May 25, 2016
The yeye monetary policy by the obj regime where public officials go away with their houses and vehicles for a chicken fee is the bane of all this drama. There should be permanent official quarters for public officers instead of wasting tax payers money on accommodation in every tenure

Politics › Re: Fayose Has No Right To Ban Cattle Rearing In Ekiti – Fulani Herdsmen by Goke7: 12:36pm On May 24, 2016
bjdon:
When the federal govt took over all the land in the country via the Land Use decree many people did not complain as it did not affect them. The main reason the FG did that was to take control of the oil in the south which was then mainly onshore.

No that the same laws are being used to seize land for cattle grazing people are starting to make noise. I hope you can all know see what happens when you allow one injustice to occur, over time it simply breeds more injustice.

What is happening with the Herdsmen needs to be a wake up call to South. The North is over populated and the Sahara is rapidly encroching on their land. They are going to start moving south in ever larger numbers. This is just a fact. I will not be surprised if in a few years time, we see the FG allocate lands in the south for 'The resettlement of victims of climate change'. These people are very very cleaver and they think long term. If we don't resist this evil so called grazing bill and give full support to people like Faysoe, then one day we'll wake up and find whole areas in the South have been carved out for others and now have Emirs. Southerners shine your eyes!!
that is why we have legislators from the south in the National assembly to check these excesses, but alas they only know how make noise on twitter
