Politics › Re: Protest In Bauchi In Support Of Fuel Subsidy Removal by Goke7: 1:51pm On May 17, 2016
places like bauchi have not been buying fuel for 87 naira so why are people surprised with their stance? Its only Lagos and may be abuja that buys fuel at official price after queuing for hours.

we need to stop all these for Christ sake, when did we start getting pained with a good news from other regions just because its not our own region. There are some things we can continue to blame our politicians for and this is one of them.

Getting pained with the discovery of a natural resource in another region simply because its not your own region is the most silly thing to do.

The op need to check himself out.

Their own GEJ was there? .......Did you allow him to work? Is it not because he might have implemented the recommendations of the national conference which would have corrected this injustice that made it necessary for these oil block allocators and block owners to pull down GEJ?
sentiments, sentiments, there is need for the south south to be more politically enlightened and know how to play political diplomacy, using militants and violence is getting archaic and you can't achieve much that way. You have gotten 13% derivation, why not push for more through your lawmakers in the national assembly, that is why they are elected in the first place.

Carry these sentiments into the national assembly and convince or negotiate with other members from other parts of the country and get more for your region. crying over gej cannot bring him back or solve any problem we can only have one president at a time and that's why we have lawmakers representing every part of the country all the time. wake up from your political slumber, whatever the national conference propose can also be done thru the national assembly. Gej should have save us more money instead of the national conference.

Wike is live on channels TV, and I think his making a whole lots of sense concerning the NDA and how their actions is affecting the whole South south revenue and development.
He said 'it's normal for our people to hold grievances, but it's criminal for them to destroy government properties. He asked rhetorically who suffers more from their actions, the south South region. He also said anyone in support of the NDA action is an enemy of the south South. Because it's they who suffers insecurity, lose foreign investors, more polluted land and reduced revenue. And that the south South governors already met with the president on how to tackle the issue.
hmmm, Wike should have kept quiet nah, how did he become Governor? Honestly very soon there will be cracks within the south south, these foolish militants have forgotten that the political party ruling the south south states is different from the ruling party in Abuja. Guys like wike know that the south south can't get the full attention it usually get when pdp held sway in abuja hence supporting any militants strike looks foolish.

When I say the south south is politically naive, I know what am talking about

The Niger Delta folks are just too politically naive in maximising their opportunities even when they are given the whole world. Violence and threats seems to be what they know how to do best. What a pity

its high time we stop all this foolish arguments of who is feeding who, last i checked, every part of Nigeria is contributing something significant to all. The southerners be it ss, se or sw must stop all this bullshit talk of them feeding everybody. The northerners must stop all this threat of them feeding the south.

Have our politicians not divided us enough? why are we so gullible, who dem don epp for our matter, we will be arguing foolishly and they keep on sharing our commonwealth be it oil, tomato or whatever.

Nigerians be wise, are you not tired of this suffering?
Politics › Re: PDP Breaks Into Two Factions by Goke7: 7:29am On May 16, 2016
People claim that when gej removed subsidy the other time, the protests then were organised by the opposition who forced the ruling party then to reduce fuel price.

One who have expected that the PDP now should be the one leading protests to force the present govt to reduce fuel price but alas PDP is no where to be found, when we expect them by now to be organizing musical concerts at OJOTA to put pressure on the govt, instead they are breaking up into factions.

Cursed be the day a party called PDP was formed. They are the true enemies of Nigeria. I pity their fans who still see PDP as a Nigerian party.

I remember Nigerians crying to high heavens they could buy #500 per liter if they don't have to queue. So it is just #145 for now and you don't have to queue. apart from the hypocrisy what is the bitter pill to swallow
Honestly it beat me we've been hearing folks from different parts saying they were buying fuel for 300 and 400 per litre. Perhaps majority of Nigerians have been lying all along, looks like most were still buying at the official price but saying something else. I can't remember since January this year when I bought at the former official price of 87

Following the announcement In the increment of PMS by minister of state for petroleum Mr. kachukwu yesterday, some filling station have already changed their prices first thing early this morning.
What gives me surprise is that this same filling station refused to sell fuel for the past few weeks and decided to sell this morning without offloading any tanker lately, (pls where DPR all this while) and another this is that, this station is selling old Stoke for the official benchmark of 145, but if federal government should announce any reduction is PMS price they will cry that dey take old Stoke they need to dispense.

The poor they suffering in this country. May God help us get tru this trouble. Amen.

This attached picture was taken from Total filling station at civic center close to MTN office in Kano this morning.
That is the idea, by next week, there will be no queue anymore, black market will be gone.

We Nigerians are the problem as you can see

We do need quality opposition, as that is what develops a good democracy and stops a reoccurring PDPism.
for now, there is no opposition as pdp still see themselves as the ruling party, do you think an average pdp fan or member believe they are in opposition? This is the problem we have right now. what we have as so called opposition are bitter fellows who are trying to incite the masses against the FG.

They talked about islamic agenda, that's not working anymore

They talked about exchange rate or shortage of forex as if PMB determines the value of the dollar

They can't hinged boko haram on PMB anymore as they now use the fulani herdsmen attacks as if it started today

Fuel scarcity never happened under pdp they claimed

They are very happy with the pipeline bombings and complain about power at the same time.

We can't have quality opposition right now, reason they are called wailers.

If Buhari no change, he's considered rigid, archaic, despotic and gworo chewing. If he changes, he is considered a certificate less, burukutu sipping hypocrite. The opposition in this country is scaringly weak.
there is no opposition in Nigeria but those who have chosen not get over with the loss of GEJ, I understand their pain, they had never been in opposition from their political history, they are like fish taken out of its natural environment [water] and keep struggling to come to terms with its new environment.

Let them wail on, FG is broke, almost 30 states can't pay salaries, yet they want subsidy to remain. The same subsidy they supported their beloved GEJ to remove way back.
