OCTAVO:
From what I can tell, she has strong connection with children. It is evident in most of her videos. Most of the people passionate about her and her videos were probably very young then. Most of the people who were adults back then surprisingly do not even give a damn about her or her videos. If those who were adults back then could commit some level of zeal or passion in this quest, we would have gotten her videos long ago.
That's true, children were passionate about her then, the adults were more passionate about the likes of Fela, hence reason you can easily get Fela's videos. So sad, anyway to some of us she represents the true face of Nigeria which is deep sense of patriotism and I must commend all who have been involved in this search, may be if some of us were much older then, this search wouldn't have been this intensive but then we are a nation that don't value true patriots.

APC will even be the biggest fool to allow the marginal advantage they still have in the Senate to be rubbished by the pdp not to clear the ministerial nominees. Saraki himself will be the biggest fool to allow the pdp determine who gets cleared even the pdp will be amazed if the APC allow it [the pdp] to determine who is fit to be a minister.

We all knew they are just blowing hot air, even PMB has nothing to loose if anybody is not cleared as that is not his job in the first place

NFF is trying so hard to do damage control, the arranged interview with oliseh by Toyin ibitoye did not get the expected mileage so this is another try but I may advise enyeama to just leave the eagles for good as oliseh looks like someone who may not let go easily. To me enyeama should have left the eagles before now, if he does not leave now,a bigger embarrassment may be waiting for him again.

A word is enough for the wise.

Felix has paid his dues in sports journalism and is a pioneer of the kind of sports programs we enjoy in the media today.

Am so surprised with the kind of bashing enyeama is getting here, most Nigerians here are not following the issues properly, enyeama is only reacting to the lies oliseh was peddling in a damage control arranged interview by the NFF with Toyin ibitoye where oliseh was lying that enyeama has been having issues with all Nigerian coaches including Berti vogts. Oliseh also accused enyeama of character assassination and said enyeama said he insulted his mother.

Oliseh is a kid and like someone said, this matter has been partially resolved with enyeama retiring from the national team. Its left for oliseh to translate all his grammar and phonetics to the field of play and let's see how it goes. For me am waiting for our home and way game against Egypt in march next year to know whether oliseh was a worthy successor to keshi.

The ultimate loser will be NFF Chairman, Amaju Pinnick who appears clueless on how to lead from the front.

He is kindred spirit with Oliseh: all talk no substance. I listened to his views in one TV station during the World Cup. He was speaking so many well-sounding things about taking Nigerian football to the next level.

Now he has been made the head of the NFF and Nigerian football future is increasingly looking bleak.
The greatest disservice the amaju guy has done is to appoint a novice to coach our national team, someone who has never handled a national team after toasting nigerians that they will get a top class foreign coach. I said it on this forum that it is a carpenter coach that nff will use to replace keshi and I have been proved right.

Oliseh should have told the world what he said to the players during the meeting cos insider information have it that Oliseh abused or should i say talked down at the players because he was not impressed during their training. Enyeama as the captain wanted to air his view, so what's wrong with that? Oliseh should have allowed Enyeama to talk, simple. I think Oliseh was a bit dictatorial there please

Politics › Re: How Rivers Senators Plan To Pull Amaechi Down At Screening by Goke7: 1:53pm On Oct 09, 2015
The Rivers people and pdp should take a cue from their hero in ekiti, fayose who said an ekiti man is first of all an ekiti man in backing up Fayemi. The reason for the division btw wike and Amaechi no longer exists which is mama peace and GEJ. carrying over that bitterness for the man who is back is otueke is so silly and unreasonable.

Rivers state has an opportunity to have a man who will be very close to the C in C, I thought everyone in Nigeria has been talking about a Government who will embrace everyone irrespective of wherever they are from.

I challenge Wike to be a man and back up his former boss after all they were all in pdp before GEJ divided them. I am one of those who still believe that wike and amaechi will settle their differences especially since GEJ is no longer in aso rock. Wike can negotiate with his case at the tribunal for this. This is Nigeria, its all politics.

One thing you don't know is that it is not every SE that wants Biafra. A good number of Igbos prefer to have a bigger Nigeria as our country than a smaller Biafra. It is the attitude of people like you and Buhari that is giving credence to the agitation of those who want Biafra. Please if Nigeria belongs to all of us, leaders should stop deliberate exclusion of certain group or groups in the affairs of the Nation, else you push them away.
Buhari during his campaign went to the entire SE region to canvass for their votes and tried to engaged them in various conversations, he was even rejected audience with some elders in the SE despite facilitation from some SE folks. The SE publicly expressed hatred for Buhari and even said he was behind boko haram so who is fooling who here, The political intolerance by the SE is responsible for whatever they feel right now with Buhari. The agitation for succession cannot be used by the SE to ventilate their anger towards anybody as it would further lead to more distrust form other regions simple.

Truly I know many SE guys are not for the succession thing and i think these are the ones that should educate others about Political tolerance which the whole southern part of Nigeria even needs

I v always known dat Ekweremmadu slot has been d APC cum Buhari greatest burden but unfortunately its one bitter pill providence has forced down on them because of their obvious disregard towards d SE from onset. All these roforofo fight against Saraki is b/c a PDP person and particularly an Igboman is d Deputy Senate President but its getting late by d day that APC is helpless. Nigeria is built on a tripod of Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, d often contraption 'wazobia' but APC made it clear that d 'bia' leg must be cut off b/c of dia 5% designation but unfortunately God had a different plan for his chosen ppl. Haven't u imagined how come at d date n time of natn'l assembly inauguration, d APC members went for meeting with d party leadership even though d President had earlier sent in his letter consenting to d promulgation. Confusion u may say but dat was a devine masterpiece. Truth is as long as Saraki wants to remain as SP he must continue to align with d PDP/Ekweremadu who are d beautiful brides. U need 2/3rd majority to impeach d DSP and dat d apc cant ever get. If APC continue to push this matter which is naturally dying down, then d more they exhibit their poor knowledge of how democracy works. Apc had a choice of zoning d SP, DSP, speaker n deputy speaker but in a bid to make sure d SE and to a lesser extent d SS do not get any slot, they went against zoning so dat d SW n NW will take turns in addition to d VPn D President.
You are just too judgmental, Ekweremadu is the reason the SGF post never went to the SE, the SE played itself out when the likes of Ngige did was not returned to the senate by his own people who even enjoyed scholarships from him, in fact the crisis in the senate now is caused by the SE as there would have been no contention for the senate presidency if Ngige returned to the senate.

My question has always been what is Ekweremadu looking for after been a dsp for eight years and still want to remain dsp, haba the man na confirmed agbaya, if he really loves the SE region, Ekweremadu would have done the needful by stepping aside quietly even saraki will not stop him but you know what they do not care about their own people as some of you think here. Pdp is also using this as a way of holding on to power despite being dethroned, yes they took advantage of apc's naivety but will they have tolerated this in their own time. some of you talk about the Tambuwal issue but you forgot that his deputy was never from the acn who put him there and the likes of mukilat and co who lost out were absorbed in the house leadership which was what apc asked saraki to do which he refused and deepen the crisis by himself.

saraki and Ekweremadu know what to do, the ball is actually in their court if they truly love their constituency or region where they come from

Sports › Re: Toyin Ibitoye Interview With Oliseh by Goke7: 12:34pm On Oct 09, 2015
I have watched and listened to the video, where Olishe said he had a meeting with the players and spoke to them before Vincent said he wanted to bare his mind, thank God oliseh did not say he was interrupted as some stupid fellows have been saying, Oliseh should have stated what he said to the players in this interview, I have an insider information that Oliseh blasted the foreign based players told them if its because of their money, they should keep it at home and that even the home based players were better than them if not for their visas issues. It was at this rage by Oliseh that Enyeama asked for an audience and Oliseh has told us in this interview that he did not allow Enyeama to speak.

The question is was it wrong for Enyeama as the captain to ask audience from his coach to speak?

Why did Oliseh in this video did not tell us what he said to the players?

Oliseh by going memory lane to state the past sins of Enyeama which he said he heard cos he said he never knew Enyeama at all in his life has only proved and conform that he has been used by the nff to disgraced Enyeama out of the national team.

Oliseh has also lied in this video by saying that Enyeama said he insulted the memory of his mother, Enyeama only said he won't allow anyone insult the memory of his mother.

Oliseh only overacted to a matter that so simple to resolve.

Its high time we let the Oliseh/Enyeama drama rest and let's look forward to rebuild Nigerian football, Oliseh need to grow up, he doesn't have the time cos after this international break, he will start having competitive games and he needs to focus if he wants to succeed. Going forward since musa is now the captain, Oliseh should appoint a deputy captain and even a second deputy to avoid the embarrassment when Musa was replaced in the last match.

The home and away matches against Egypt in march next year will determine Oliseh future and not the stupid four or five year contract nff gave to an inexperienced coach who have never handled a national team before.

Vincent Enyeama retired today. Apart from few sane people who wished him well, a majority of ungrateful nobodies felt the need to curse at him. I love how Nigerians suddenly remembered that there's a cabal that Enyeama heads, that Enyeama is arrogant, he's renowned for insurbodination. It doesn't even matter to us that Enyeama was consistent for 13 Years of his life, all those great saves he made against Messi, Aguero and other top class players mean nothing, all the games he saved us from being embarrased by teams like Gambia, doesn't matter, after all, we have Carl Ikeme. Yes, after 2 games against 2 mediocre teams, Ikeme is suddenly the 2nd Neuer. This is how we shame our players and then tomorrow, we expect sane people to play for Nigeria over countries that won't treat them like trash when it matters. It's sickening how ungrateful Nigerians are. There will ALWAYS be a cabal, whether by Keshi, Oliseh, Yobo, Enyeama or even Musa, that cabal will always be there. Today will mark the beginning of the change and if Oliseh will be hero or villain cc: Icon4s, thesupernerd, bascovanveli, dannycrusoe, linked
I have no problem with Vincent's retirement but the circumstances around it make me sad for a Player who I feel was our best goalie ever considering the fact that goalies like Peter rufai and others kept for a team much more stronger than the team Enyema led.

someone, a highly respected journalist asked what is the fuss about Enyeama as if he is greater than segun odegbami and I laughed cos this is a goalkeeper who has gone to 3 world cups and would have been 4 if Nigeria had been in Germany 2006.

Enyeama is a legend and do i hear someone say he is unpatriotic? A player who has played for his country for 13 years is even more patriotic than some of our Governors and ex Presidents.

I doubt if anybody forced him,he may have invited him because he felt he still had something to offer the team. Enyeama could still have been a part of the team and not be the captain, it is the prerogative of the team coach to pick the team captain, oliseh exercised that right. It is outrightly disrespectfully for Enyeama to challenge that decision openly and aggresively.
History has shown that in the Nigerian team, the nff in consultations with the coach choose the captain, it was only when Oliseh became captain that it was done by votes from the players that is why Oliseh won ahead of Okocha who was his senior. Oliseh is bringing a bad precedence in our national team and everyone is supporting him. If keshi had done this, he would have been murdered in the media.

If this statement is true, I must give it to fayose ,though am no fan of his, this is the kind of politics I expect all southerners to play, support your own to get to the centre first and later you can begin to draw their ears. This is how the Northerners have been playing politics all along.

I hope my brothers from Rivers state can take a cue from Fayose who they like so much since he is a pdp man.

Whether Fayose could do nothing or not, if the statement is true, that is a smart one from from him.The chief of Defence staff is from Ekiti state, the more you have guys from your state in the centre, the better as they are close to the C in C especially if you are in the opposition party. Fayose and Fayemi surely have mutual contacts which makes it a win-win situation, they are not truly foes as people think.
