They are ready to crucify this guy because he indicated his displeasure with a pastor that has a private plane that could easily be fitted with more than 20 passenger seats from South Africa.

The irony is, this are the same people who critized politicians that distributed little bags of rice and garri when they could have done far more.

Yes, it was a publicity stunt. It shows how consentrated wealth in the hands of a few do not circulate except for the few hedonic pleasures. If they were under 17 years old Swaziland virgins dancing naked nko?

You made a good point but don't distort history. Pa Ojukwu volunteered his Rose Royce. His other vehicles are Agulefo playing Lagos to the East and back.

nick50:
The first time queen Elizabeth visited Nigeria chief sir Louis odumegwu ojukwu (an igbo man from anambra)provided the entire convoy that was used to take the queen around the country ..fast track to d year 2017 there was fuel scarcity in Nigeria then chief Patrick ifeanyi ubah(an Igbo man from anambra) donated more than 250 trucks of fuel to the country, then in 2019 there is a xenophobic attack by south Africans and another Igbo man( precisely from anambra )donated his aircraft for free evacuation of Nigerians from south Africa safely back to Nigeria.. ..where are those that has been producing president since independence?.. Where is dangote ,otedola, the dantata families?.. Where are those afonja pastors that have private jets.. I have said it n will repeat it again.. If we want Nigeria to be good again then let's allow Igbo's rule .. They are a rare gift to humanity
Edo State actually gave returning indigenes some money to settle down, start a business or rent a place for a couple of months until they could stand on their own.

But even good gesture, no matter the amount can be eroded by inflation years into the future.

In those days, you could rent a room in Lagos proper for about five pounds. Further up to Surulere, two pounds ten and around Mushin for a couple of pounds and less.

The good gesture of extending twenty pounds only to Igbo that some saw as bribes for votes; later backfired years after as peanuts or nothing. If money is extended to those Nigerians returning from South Africa, the givers must learn from history.

The relationship between Nigerians and South Africans is like that of estranged husband and wife in divorce.

The husband cried about all he did for her.

Politics › Re: I Contemplated Suicide Because Osinbajo, Magu Were After Me – Former AGF, Adoke by googi: 2:13pm On Sep 09, 2019
It never ceases to amaze me how Nigerians sympathize with mass murderers.

When people steal with impunity, thousands of people are deprived of lives, sentenced to hunger, denied salaries hospitals and schools. They take off, live in foreign countries without making any income only to cry of cancer and now mental depression.

Yet, we are told every country has criminals by the crime culture apologists. That is others do it.

Look at the percentage and proportion of what others steal in those countries compared to what is stolen in Nigeria.

Any allocation is not safe for any project or salary. They steal everything and cry for the rule of law, due process and democracy.

Do you think that anyone would dare steal one third, half or the whole foreign reserve or savings of a country in USA, European country or China?
Politics › Can Never Be More Muslim Or More Christian Than Those That Converted You by googi(op): 1:41pm On Sep 09, 2019
I do not care much for religion the cause of the worst and constant wars in history. Nevertheless, I respect the choice of anyone as long as it does not infringe on the Right of others. There is nothing worse in this world than religious intolerance.

No reasonable person think human sacrifice is the way to appease God by Abraham, Christians' communion ritual or African indigenous religious beliefs.

There is a place for Oro, a place for Muslims and a place for Christians without any conflicts. There are even opposing antagonistic demonstrations at the same place and time well policed in many countries.

The problem is one religion wants to dominate others while Yoruba religion have never sought converts by tulasi.

Those of us quite aware of the Trojan horse in Muslim and Christian religions and how they have overtaken African cultures and civilization are weary of those that are still naive enough to think that you can be more Muslim or more Christian than those that converted you.

Fight and protest the fetishes, inhumane treatment and oppressive rituals in local religions otherwise, foreigners would come and teach you the history of your religions.

$9 Billions award to the company is more conspicuous than the origin of the contract and who failed. The International oil companies have more might and can afford to fight until they win. Quinn knew that and would not try them especially as he had conspired with them.

Who is the Nigerian former AG that was a member of the unanimous decision on the Arbitration panel?
Crime › Re: #xenophobia: Igbos In South Africa Fight Back (video) by googi: 2:38pm On Sep 04, 2019
I strongly believe that no one should give up, pray and play dead in front of a gun you are sure has bullets that will kill you instantly. If you can fight back, you stand a chance.

But you only stand a good chance of survival if you use your brain in front of militia when you are outgunned, outnumbered and outclassed since the only weapon you have left is that brain to negotiate your way out.

Facing a bully one to one or even one to two is different from facing a menacing crowd. Kidnappers are cowards on one to one but feed on numbers.

Brothers, be careful.

A very good piece.

These shell companies are on treasure hunting and African countries are very susceptible because of political crooks within.

We can also use our court to incur heavy fines on these local and foreign crooks. It may end up at the world court or balance out.

When I see people rejecting stomach infrastructure, demanding real substantive support by marching against politicians' salaries at the state capitals telling them to surrender their pay or their lives.

Then and only then we will know Nigerians on the streets are mad, not against poor foreigners that never harm you.

I keep on reading if our country was okay, we would not be in South Africa - Big lie!

We left Nigeria when it was flowing with milk and honey without oil. Some Europeans and Americans leave their country but none hate their country passionately as Nigerians.

A woman who moved to her husband house telling them her parents' house was a shi*thole, would be treated exactly the same way sooner or later.

This guy finally wakes up.

When I think about Igbo I grew up with, I always wonder about the caliber of leaders Igbo and Yoruba look up to today.

But then, they were not chosen the way Igbo and Yoruba past leaders were chosen.

As for Hausa, I think their lack of leadership usurped by Fulani complicates matter.
Politics › Re: #xenophobia: How Nigeria Spent $61BN To Free South Africa From Apartheid by googi: 10:54am On Sep 03, 2019
Look, stop all these gratuitous and old praises on yourselves.

Ghana with it's little resources did proportionally more for each African Country than Nigeria. Yet, we threw out the children of Nkrumah.

We cannot force any country to do more for us than we can do for ourselves. We have no control over their actions toward us.

We have control over our own actions within. Stop condemning one another and work to lift your village, city and county up.
Politics › South African Experience Must Unite Us by googi(op): 10:40am On Sep 03, 2019
Call me a dreamer if you want. I hope we all realize that Nigeria has its faults but certainly not a shiitholu country worse than anywhere else.

We may begin to respect regional cultures and people the way our parents and grandparents did and got along.

We take one another for granted and provoke one another unnecessarily. I am not naive because I accept that the days you trust Hausa for their honesty and even leave a whole house to him is gone. The days Igbo can be trusted for hard work and loyalty are gone. The days Yoruba can be trusted for tolerance and accommodation are gone.

But we can remind ourselves of those days, tell her children so that we can use those days as our goal.

Nigeria is the only Country we can call ours, love and fight with better chances for reconciliations than where is not ours. Stop and smell the roses, Nigeria was where all Africans came to.

This is a foolish statement from a representative of the Government. He should be fired for revealing the motive of nationalists among them.

Nobody wants to be dominated. They claim they did not rescue their country from the white men only to surrender it to other Africans.

Look, until you get out, you do not realize how many opportunities you could have taken advantage of in your own Country.

This is why Yoruba tell themselves that what you are looking for in Sokoto is inside your sokoto.

Other 419 companies are waiting to obtain fraudulent judgment against Nigeria. Unfortunately, those who call this company Yahoo Yahoo comany are right. There are many of them waiting.
Politics › Re: How Much Crime Did Ghanaians Commit When We Kicked Them Out by googi(op):
You need to think.

Do you know how many innocent Ghanaians were kicked out and who even reported them to Police? Most of them were teachers, agricultural workers and laborers doing jobs Nigerians refused to do. Once the stigma went out, even innocent Ghanaians left out of fear and being picked on. The sad part of the mess were Ghanaians that were born in Nigeria. Some of them were in Lagos before other Nigerians.

Take the Lawsons or Birney for example, they have established here forever. I do not know if Birney Zoo is still functional, his grannies were here before many of us.

No, you need to think. Are you saying the majority of South Africans (or Nigerians) are criminals? What about those that demonstrated that they love Nigerians, are they criminals too? The ones you marry and spend money on, are they, criminals, too?

You need to think deep and stop exposing your apologist culture for crimes we used to call ABOMINATION.

Do you know the population of Nigeria? Tell me one country in Africa or Europe that will let Nigerians overwhelm them, not to mention some criminals. You better put on your thinking cap.

Any European or American doing business in Nigeria will tell you it is the best place to make money as long as you can hold your nose. Go and ask why Virgin Airline ran out.

If only Nigerians can work as hard as they do in foreign countries, in Nigeria; we will have a rich Country. You must be part of the crime celebration culture. Get out of my face!

Guestlander:
Are Nigerians more criminal than South Africans? Did Nigerians burn Ghanaians alive and burn down their businesses?
Nigeria expelled only the Ghanaians who didn't have legal papers, those with permits were left to do whatever they were doing.
Think, it doesn't cost you any money. Most Nigerians on the streets didn't even want the Ghanaians to leave.

Whenever a foreigner is doing well, natives not doing as well harbor certain amount of jealousy even in Europe and America. Especially, African Americans. This is not limited to South Africans.

What we cannot hide are our criminals and their apologists worshipping and glorifying money as if there is nothing else worthwhile.

BTW, do you know that girls used to fall in love for clean, well ironed white shirts? Go figure the relevance of that to our vanities today.

Nukilia:
Busia kicked Nigerians out of Ghana because of jealousy. Nigerian businesses were doing well in Ghana till the Ghanaians could no longer watch Nigerians doing better than them. The South Africans also find a way to loot shops of foreigners. I know what to do, but won't put it on a public forum. If that is done, that would be the last time a South African lay hands, or steal from a foreigner. angry angry angry
Politics › Re: Nigeria Should Please Pay $9.6 Billion Dollar Judgement To P&ID Immediately! by googi: 5:26pm On Sep 02, 2019
My only problem is that robbing Sule to pay Paul is not a good way to recover our money from their cronies.

These same Nigerians conspired with them in the first place.

No reasonable court would order an opponent with meager income, an African country for that matter to empty it's purse. A reasonable court does not bankrupt an opponent in a JudeoChristian capitalist society. This is why courts ask for financial statements of both parties.

Thanks, good point.

It was the reason Azikiwe cried out the loudest. Who would ever believe that any African country would kick out the children of Nkrumah?

Hate is a double edge sword but only reasonable people understand that. The name you call yourselves and others call you poison the well you drink from.

Nigerians thought they were kicking out criminals and prostitutes from Ghana, Kofi Busia kicked out business men and law abiding Nigerians.

South Africa is our mirror!

Those asking Nigeria to invade South Africa unless they stop their criminals are myopic. Has Nigeria stop it's criminals inside or outside the Country?

We have Nigerian apologists justifying and celebrating criminals for immortal behavior soiling the reputation of the majority, the modest hardworking Nigerians everywhere

We have a crime culture that we need to address at home.

There many virtues and reputation that has nothing to do with money. Just ask you parents or grannies.
Crime › Re: Xenophobia In South Africa: Nigerians Run During An Early Morning Attack by googi: 2:45pm On Sep 02, 2019
These attacks on Nigerians everywhere, not only in South Africa is depressing to say the least.

The crimes committed by Nigerians at home have been glorified, celebrated and are being exported. Even worse, is to justify these crimes and turn them into bravery. Others claim lack of enabling environment at home.

Yet, there are Nigerians that are successful outside doing the right thing after finding out they have to work twice as hard outside. To claim that it is better to die outside doing crime than to die at home of hunger, Boko Haram or FULANI heardmen is a cope out. S. Africans or Ghanaians or Americans can say the same.

Accept and change your crime tendencies as a way to riches. No matter how many Nigerians succeed at home or abroad, we are notorious for the crimes of a few. No country owes us anything to collect in crimes, not even South Africans.

Remember Ghana Must Go!
