I think you have been adequately dealt with. Fortunately, you have revealed yourself clean clear. IkennaOb: Inferiority induced negros that continuously attempt to steal the identity and contribution of the indigenous Americans ancestorsWhen dealing with this type of animal, one has to be careful not to associate him or give him the privilege of lumping himself with reasonable IGBO among you. I note that he kept quiet about the date of NZI kingdom. This was how revised history of Benin began and we kept quiet until it developed wings. This Yoruba generation are not as complacent as their parents. Ikenna0b: |
Ikennaob, Go read about Africans before Columbus in America and show respect. That is your assignment for today. |
Regurgitate the same lies and propaganda all you want. You need to stop crying about Azikiwe as Leader in the West. Tolerance for others is not an invitation to rule and enslave more civilized people than you. Stop crying about Yoruba where Azikiwe and many successful Igbo feel more comfortable than within Igbo community. Zik was born in Zugeru in the North, Ojukwu was born in the North, yet none of them ever aspires to become village chief there. Lagos is within reach is not your dream but your nightmare. The same Ojukwu your hero, recalled Zik back home after Zik realized his folly for supporting Biafra. Zik cried out: See dis small boy, na him kill him Papa o. Now he wan kill me! Zik returned to where he felt most comfortable all his life, within YORUBA. BTW, Please how old is Nri kingdom? Talk to ignoramus, not us. |
This is how we used to celebrate in those days. Now it is "gifted", slay queens, bids for teenage virgins and immoralities. |
Some people still do not understand that it is not the money you make that makes you rich, it is how you spend it. Southsouth has been the victims here and the blame you assign victims should not be greater than the calous exploiters of their ignorance. How much did the West make from cocoa to make it an economic hub for all Africans? Indeed, Nigeria is the classic example that a fool and his money will soon part. |
midolian:These types of Igbo hardly come out because they will be persecuted by other Igbo. Do not forget that Nzeogwu a man that could have been a national hero to Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and the majority that are hardly acknowledged, the so called minorities. They found a find a way to betray Nzeogwu and the coup collapsed. |
Anyone that love this Country and do not cry for it is not human. Think about brave people in our history, endowment that God provided us without a sweat, even after a deliberating war that we inflicted on ourselves, we did not borrow a Kobo! Who can lose all these opportunities and not cry for that country? |
Thank you. I could not have said it better. People love to celebrate mediocre rule in Nigeria for selfish reason. We vote for the lesser of two evils not the best. Yet they are not ashamed to still sing about Jonathan because they overwhelmed him. For them that was good enough. Is there anyone then that did not know Buhari? Or Jonathan was so rotten with impunity squandering the hope, trust and education that could have liberated the country. obailala: |
Nigerians had many opportunities to rescue the Country but we did not learn from history because of immediate gratification. Think about it. How often can we get the support of Hausa to kill almighty Ahmadu Bello? Nzeogwu did. How often did any politician get overwhelming votes from the North to the South? Jonathan did. When some of us point out these facts, we are labeled Igbo hater. Even if Nzeogwu patriotic instinct was exploited and Jonathan mumuness was exploited, are they the only Nigerians and why couldn't people of goodwill prevail? Our society is getting sicker and we are celebrating the demise of one another. |
okeyfrank:Do you know the difference between tough love and hate? It is the difference between me and you my broda. |
If this is true, it is nice that he is ok for now. Those celebrating his detention are cowards, a role they have played throughout their lives in Nigeria. They always call for the rules of the game at the beginning, when they lose, they cry like cry-babies as usual. For avoidance of doubts: 1. They called for One Nigeria. Awo tabled the option to opt out. Azikiwe rejected it. 2. We all wanted regional government as a federation, Ironsi with the support of Ojukwu and the East turned it into Unitary Government. 3. They want a separate nation of Biafra. They turned back and invaded Mid-West, looting the Central Bank. 4. They want a separate nation. Proceeded to the West to capture their Superior. The whole Biafran Army were devastated by ragtag local hunters with about 20 soldiers that collected them on their way to Ore from Ondo led by ILUYOMALE. These "COWARDs" ragtag hunters with about 20 professional Yoruba soldiers defeated the Army of Biafra at Ore with tactics still used throughout the world as a lesson. Cowards abi? 5. Give it to them, mouth they get sha. They were able to convince Jonathan with the least votes of all the regions that they voted more for him than any other region, only to repeat the looting they did at Midwest Central Bank. Oh yeah they want Biafra but will never leave. Yoruba spoil dem taya for West. They got used to it. They tried it in the North, dem cut their ass. Tried it in South Africa, dem cut their ass, tried it in Ghana, dem cut their ass. Only in Yoruba land they go scot free. Guess who they hate most …………. YORUBA nah! |
Asnafsaeed:I cannot believe you are serious until I read other comments. In short, Igbo that were supposed to carry out their deadly act in the East did not. Some of them leaked the coup to Azikiwe and he left on leave overseas from Lagos. So if Igbo leaders were not spared, Nzeogwu would be a hero to Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa. Did you see Hausa? Yes, I mean Hausa. Nobody in his right mind would think Nzeogwu could have penetrated Ahmadu Bello shield or armor of protection without Hausa soldiers' support for Nzeogwu. The man was popular and brave throughout the Army. This was why Ojukwu and Ironsi kept him at a distance. So it was Igbo that betrayed Nzeogwu. |
Asnafsaeed:Are you a Nigerian? |
We may have had the last opportunity to clean up Nigeria after the betrayal of Nzeogwu by his fellow men. In retrospect, it was well planned and most of the youths in the Army were well aware of his mission. Even those that refused to participate because of lives that would be involved praised his patriotic ideas. Well, it was not to be because of the usual traitors through out our history. If it was not possible then when we were United, can it be possible today? |
splendour7:I have noted your postings. No need discussing anything with ignoramus that wants and should have known History 101 about Nigeria. Here is your assignment. Go and research why Nzeogwu coup failed with your likes given a task to carry out in your region. You do not want to leave Nigeria, you want to loot Nigeria as you did by invading Mid-West and again under Jonathan. Nothing can succeed in Nigeria under the trust of people like you. The problem is you hide within patriots from the East. |
Some people make me laugh sometimes, I tell ya. Youths Go and protest? Even Sowore who started as a student is getting old now. Some youths don't know that or do not want to know. They are still crying about how Jonathan that got votes from North to South squandered it all in the hands of El Dorado managers that have never achieved anything in their history. Well, the youths are waiting for 150 year old Tai Solarin, Gani Fawehinmi, Wole Soyinka and Femi Falana to lead The youths? Give them iPhone, slay queens and Mercedes and everything will be All Right. They learned it from Jonathan the creator of Father Christmas, Hon. Dansuki. |
Of course there will continue to be glut when oil bunkers, Navy, Army and their officers have had their lion share for free. Who would buy? Does Nigeria know how much crude oil is going out or how much refined oil is coming in. If a small country like Saudi Arabia does, may be they should get another inflated foreign contract to bring them in and teach us. If the oil bunkers allow them. Ndi Ara. |
Kylekent59:Who else fought and protest any injustice against Igbo or any other group if not Yoruba? Your hate, denials and envy for Yoruba on whose back and land you came into prominence, became rich legally or illegally will haunt you for ever if your generation do not ask and beg for forgiveness. |
splendour7:If Yoruba have hate in their hearts, where will Igbo running away from their barren sheeethuole be today? You lost those who took on your causes and those that died for you like Fajuyi and died in your bloody hands like Ademulegun, died for ingrates. Anyway, those days are gone. Their children and grandchildren will never give you that opportunity again. You've met your match, enjoy. But for the Nigerian patriots among you, you would be swimming in Atlantic Ocean. |
They want to guarantee peace in the country by arresting Sowore. What a joke. These are the same people releasing Boko Haram, Ruga and militants into the community after wasting Billions on them as bribes. Revolution fighters may have come predominantly from one section of the country from Herbert Macauley to Sowore today, they opened the doors for all and these reactionaries to govern a country. |
splendour7:Keep on playing ignorance with yourself. |
splendour7:I had to wait and read more of your posts here. You must be too young to realize that non-natives guests that travel to the East with their friends were not allowed to go through certain villages for their safety. I will not be surprised if that old woman vanishes overnight. But for the publicity on her now. |
Nigerians used to borrow ticket fares to Europe and America. They left their homes without a Kobo and they were grateful to make it. Today, RUGA Developers and others call themselves INVESTORS. Please use the Billions you bring to invest to provide jobs at home instead of over running services in the most civilized places in Nigeria. |
Some heartless children. If you want to abandon your mother, which is becoming common these days, Enugu of all place is the place? Able bodies borrow transport fare just to get out. |
CanadaOrBust:Your name says it all |
Nobody can trust anything coming from this Government or past Governments for that matter. Produce Today's Picture of Sowore hail and hearty. A word for most of those celebrating his detention. It is not about Sowore, it is about the cause he tagged on. While I understand your anger, check your past celebrations outside your shheetholes, you call for it and you deserve getting into the games you will always lose. Cry me an ocean if you like. |
Take it or leave it. Rosskiki is basically right. If you count crimes against blacks and minorities, crimes rate against them goes up exponentially. Even when blacks move to the so call peaceful affluent areas, they are targeted at a higher rate than whites mostly by the types of boys who did the Texas shooting. And guess what? By the parents of those kids and constituted authority too. It does not absolve Nigeria crime rate but you can choose an area in Nigeria that are much safer than the US. The point here is that blacks are targeted regardless of how rich or poor you are in the US than in Nigeria. But branding will not let you see that. Nigerian universities are even relatively much safer than anywhere else in the world. |
Here we go again! I hope they have not killed him. |
Generally, our society lack maintenance mentality. Unlike those days when children get up early in the morning to do chores. University environment should be different. It is the right place to start mini projects that can be extended to the whole community. We are still waiting for their solar, water and agric projects to catch on. So tell me on the 2000s why sanitary workers are not provided with equipment so that they do not come into physical contact with faeces. No wonder some students don't go to toilet for days. Others run home or to friend's house to use toilet. Blame our communities all you want but our Universities too? |
How I wish this is not true. There used to be a time when newspapers printers had to move from one house to the other, hiding from Police. We are in 2019 in the age of digital print and this people still think they can silence everyone. |
Now, this is what you call madness |
Flier:I thought this was revealed during OBJ/ATIKU Show years back. Yet ATIKU promised to sell these companies and their loans to private investors again during Election. The loan between Tinubu and ATIKU be cunning man die, cunning man buriam. Both are chronic looters. |
