Once upon a time and till now, there's a young man who in his youthful age is unproductive with his life. This young man believes he can control what others do with their lives. He spends more than half of his 24 hours given to every man under heaven to wallow in the dust while he thinks being logical means loosing the reasoning faculty. This young man as I speak does not know that there's good in every bad situations in life and when every situation in life is tested, it proves us to us. This young man jumps from one thread to another fight an imaginary battle against what other people chose to believe. He doesn't even understand there's time and manner for everything in life. What then shall I say to this this soul that doesn't even think before he does anything on a public forum and yet claims to be logical? What shall I say to a young man that his mates engage their logic senses and reasoning to invent new things and ideas while he jumps from one thread to another even duplicating topics? What shall I say to this illogical display of threads that means the same thing here and there? What shall I say to an over zealous young man that doesn't consider his future in his youthful age? What shall I say to a young man that claims logic but short-sighted and doesn't know his very own future is IN HIS YOUTH and whatever he does with his youth automatically shapes his old age? What shall I say to an illogical boy who think he corrects others while he commits same illogical disgrace? As I ponder on what to say to this young man. Lo and behold, there cometh a thought in me and here's is wisdom for whoever thinks logically - WHEN YOU SEE AN OLD MAN IN HIS OLD AGE WITHOUT HELP FROM ANYONE, ASK HIM WHAT HE HAD DONE WITH HIS YOUTHFUL AGE AND TIME. Which verse 15 am I interpreting in isolation? Did Paul ever mentioned anything like scarf/hat/veil/mantle as covering FOR "HEAD" or "HAIR". Didn't Paul say if a woman shave is the SAME AS THOUGH SHE'S NOT COVERED? The same Paul now said the HAIR is give her as covering FOR THE HEAD. I know it takes God and humility to accept you guys were wrong for years. What you teaching is HAIR covering NOT HEAD covering. |

Now, dont get me wrong, I still love KJV more than any other translations and it still remain my first priority anytime but I'm no more a KJV ONLY. Some other translations esp my new found EXPANDED BIBLE, by the KJV and NKJV translator Team. The passage doesn't discuss "HAIR" covering BUT "HEAD" covering. When it says, 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. You can see that a woman scrapping off (shave) her HAIR is what is called UNCOVERED to her physical HEAD. This passage is as clear as it is. You're the one reading cap/hat/veil into the passage. There's NO WHERE it mentions hat/cap/veil as covering for HEAD etc. So when you come to verse 14-15, Apostle Paul begins to parallel the HEAD covering EXACTLY what he meant by introducing HAIR into the discussion. 14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long HAIR, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long HAIR, it is a glory to her: for her (LONG, mine added) HAIR is given her for a covering. ...for a covering for WHAT?
