Believe whatever you want or like to believe but, if you have studied the teachings of the Apostles who walked with Christ you would have understood why the law (including the 10 commandments) was given to Isreal. THE LAW WAS NEVER GOD INTENTION FROM BEGINNING. Get your studies right. Study Galatians 3 and see for yourself.

Some of you really need to unlearn what you have been taught for year. Teachings that have imbeded traditions of men are the most to do away with and unlearn.

Who taught you there's moral, ceremonial and sacrificial laws?

The law is a one package that was delivered as a whole and that's why breaking one is breaking all.

So when Paul the Apostle taught believers are not to follow the law of Moses, was he only talking about 10 commandments or sacrificial or ceremonial law? No! He was talking about the whole. The whole law including the 10 commandments IS abolished for those who are in Christ

You don't need the 10 commandments to tell you to do the right thing or not, you need the holy spirit that works within your conscience and renewed mind. There was no 10 commandments before Joseph flew from Potiphar wife, there was no commandments before Enoch walked with God, Noah was a just man, Job etc

ken4christ, you're write ups are cool, but I still believe the word "preserve" in this context is wrong. No doubt that good works are of high importance in christianity but as to the preservation or keeping of salvation, works cannot preserve what grace gives. Even the works themselves are by-products of grace (Titus 2:11-12). God Himself has the sole responsibility of preserving what He gives "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless...." (Jude:24). "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1Peter 1:5). Works in itself are more like signs for men and not for God (Matt 5:16). God has called us unto good works to the glory of His name (1Peter 2:12), not unto the preservation of our salvation. He will keep me and preserve me and I will live my life according as He pleases in appreciation.

This is gospel as simple as ABC and I've been preaching the same thing. Some folks here are just out to say whatever they like to say. Thank you!

There is the new and old laws, the first law which was abolished was contrary to us

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Never say the law of God Almighty is abolished. The ten commandments are just a section of the laws, there are thousands of statues and ordinances established in the blood of bulls and goats, but the Eternal Law like to love your neighbor as yourself is sure and perfect.

1. Romans 7vs6-12 and 2 Cor.3vs2-11 proves the 10 commandments IS THE or INCLUSIVE of the OLD COVENANT.

2. Hebrews 8vs13 says the first IS OBSOLETE.

we are justified irrespective of works, in fact we are initially justified without a single good work done by ourselves. that is where the passage about without works come in.

but none is sanctified nor glorified irrespective of good work done in grace. that is why Jesus teaches that the test for heaven isn't do you believe? or do you have the spirit? it is based on works done in grace, did you feed, cloth, or visit me.
that is where the passage you quoted from Colossians comes in.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward." Colossians 3:24-25.

our inheritance, I.e glorification is achieved not just as gift but also as reward.


the 2 Corinthian passages actually agree with me, glorification include works and it is a reward, in fact it tells us what happens to the imperfect worker the guy who built on straw but it never anywhere talks about the guy who didn't build at all, it never says a person who has no works will be saved (glorification).

What really is your stand on this topic?

It's simple my brother. Hebrews 7 is NOT TEACHING tithe but superiority of one priesthood over another. Now, before vs 18.....there's mention of commandment in 2 verses, so when verse 18 disannulling the commandment going before, you ask yourself which commandment is he talking about?

Context will be the 2 commandment mentioned above going before and that's what is disannulled. So what does those commandment say?

Meaning the levites take tithes n from there, they give tithes or tenth to the priests. IT IS THIS PRIEST THAT ARENT BRINGING THE TENTH THEY COLLECT TO THE STOREHOUSE NOT YOU A CHRISTIAN.
