Illustrations are not real stories but good and honest illustrations draw their inspirations from indisputable realities. All of Jesus's parables have a real life parallel.

The 'Soon Coming' of Christ in scriptures is not literal soon coming but a command for us to be alert and live our lives as though He'll come today because we do not know exactly when He'll appear.

God is the Beginning and the End, so is Jesus. This makes God and Jesus the same person.
