Trying to make it more simpler.
This is not like my major websites, it's just like a gateway to my major websites.
So I want to make it look less colourful.
I did this last night.
http://www.ctrlshiftstudios.com/new

I also added a blog to the website. It will not be a daily or weekly blogging. It will be once in a month or even in two months. I definitely will not have that chance to be blogging there. It will be my monthly ranting on web stuff. You can click on the blog icon link to view a dummy look of the blog.
Or just click on: http://www.ctrlshiftstudios.com/new/blog

Tell me what you think.

I just developed http://www.ctrlshiftstudios.com/all to serve as a platform that will link to my companies' websites. I will host it on its own domain name soon.

I want you to check it out and tell me what you think. The companies names are coded and the links are in # (the websites and been developed). CtrlShift is running (although I am redesigning it).

WebmastersTell Me What You Think About This Webpage by GraphicsPlus(op): 1:17pm On May 25, 2013
I was working on a stuff. It's a website that will house a little info about me and my firms. From this one website, you can link to the individual websites of the companies. Currently, I am setting up six companies that will run under one roof. My younger brother who is a graduate of Computer Science and Civil Engineering is doing his Master's in Computer Programming and Android development in UK. This is the plan. He will be directly in charge of the company that develops mobile apps and the one that offers bulk sms. He will also be teaching at the training institute. I will be directly in charge of the other 4 companies and also serve as senior tutor at the institute. We will have some creative team of men and women with different skills that will be handling a bunch of other stuff. My fiancee will be in charge of accounts and marketing strategies. She read MBA (Sales and Marketing). Each section will have managers that will be reporting direct to me.

So I just developed http://www.ctrlshiftstudios.com/all to serve as a platform that will link to these companies' websites. I will host it on its own domain name soon.

I want you to check it out and tell me what you think. The companies names are coded and the links are in # (the websites and been developed). CtrlShift is running (although I am redesigning it).

We want to make a statement in Africa.

IslamRe: Muslim Students Reject Hijab Ban In Lagos Public Schools by GraphicsPlus(m): 4:22pm On May 20, 2013
who is afraid of moslems? If they want to wear hijab, they should may be go to islamic schools. i cant see why MSSN is making this noise. If government bans wearing of hijab in public school, the affected students should either abide by the rule or change school where it's not banned. simple. moslems should embrace life of peace for once.

WebmastersRe: A Little Help On This by GraphicsPlus(m): 1:01pm On May 20, 2013
Taking down the website may not a permanent solution. He can still register it elsewhere with another domain name and upload his content again. I can see he's a Nigerian and he has an account with a Nigerian bank. Why not report to the EFCC and EFCC will then direct the bank to alert them any time he comes to make withdrawal. Or to freeze his account.

WebmastersRe: Need a website ? by GraphicsPlus(m): 9:27am On May 20, 2013
I know as one is starting out, he must somehow use free things. In fact one can use free widgets, plugins and stuff like that maybe from github. There are cases u don't have to reinvent the wheel. BUT TO DOWNLOAD A FULL WEBSITE TEMPLATE AND EDIT IT AND CLAIM YOU CODED IT, IS A SLAP TO WEB DESIGN PROFESSION. IT CAN ONLY MEAN THAT YOU ARE STILL LEARNING. YOU ARE STILL FAR FROM BEEN A WEB DEVELOPER WHEN YOU CAN CODE YOUR OWN WEBSITE. I can tell u authoritatively that ur personal website is a free template u edited.
WebmastersRe: Need a website ? by GraphicsPlus(m): 7:17am On May 20, 2013
It carried Australia because it's a free template he edited. And forgot to edit the map also. You will discover that what he can do now is to go and remove the map entirely. Nigerian web designers. Let's see how far all these free templates editing will take you.

WebmastersRe: Who Is Hosting Nairaland.com Website? by GraphicsPlus(m):
There ar lots of indeginous websites like nairaland in nigeria that have not experienced a well known downtime. i think it's unnecessary asking a ceo of a company in a public forum where he hosts his website. u should hav at least inquire this fron Seun privately. If u hav a card that can pay for hosting, go for: godaddy.com or siteground.com or domain.com.

Again, there ar factors that could lead to a website not been available. Hav u contacted ur present host? What did they say?
WebmastersRe: Naijafinder.com Is A Content-thiefing Forum. Bloggers Beware. by GraphicsPlus(m): 4:28pm On May 19, 2013
The problem is how will google know you are the original author? Google may not penalize them and namecheap may not wind down their account. Google recognizes the first web page to be crawled and indexed as the original author. Maybe you may have yo do some seo.
WebmastersRe: Who Is Hosting Nairaland.com Website? by GraphicsPlus(m): 4:19pm On May 19, 2013
Is it only nairaland.com that is loading? Didnt you notice that other websites like facebook is also opening at your end? Why didnt go ask Mark Zukerberg where he hosts facebook?

My friend, pls go and sort your hosting issues with your host. If you don`t want to host with them again, look for another web hosting company.
Nairaland GeneralRe: 10 Myths About Introverts by GraphicsPlus(m): 2:47pm On May 18, 2013
I will start by saying that these are not myths. They are facts. You are the one trying to turn facts into myths. You probably want to showcase introverts as great personalities. But wait a minute, introverts are still great personalities even without your effort to turn pure facts into mere myths. Let me take your myths one after the other.

1. Fact #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
It's a well known fact that introverts don't like talking. It's not that they don't talk at all. They do talk, but you and I understand what it means to say that one can talk. Introvert is a deep thinker. He may have something to talk about, but he will rather choose to be thinking about it. Introverts normally die in silence. It takes great persuasion for an introvert to express himself verbally. They think a lot. Hence, they don't like talking.

Fact #2 – Introverts are shy.
This is obvious. They lack high level boldness and charisma that an extrovert will normally display. Shyness doesn't mean been afraid. Shyness mean been withdrawn and not wanting all eyes to be on him. An introvert may say no to an interview. They run away from publicity. He lacks that boldness to approach someone and initiate a discussion. They are afraid of been turned down.

Facts #3 – Introverts are not rude.
There is no myth out there that says introverts are rude. It's extroverts that can be very rude because they are known for a weakness of pride. An introvert can hardly shout on you. In fact, if you live with an introvert, you will enjoy him because he will hardly be rude. Introverts care a lot. They have respect for people's rights. An extrovert that has not dealt with himself can easily brush people aside and live 'I don't care lifestyle.'

Fact #4 – Introverts like people.
You got this one. Introverts care a lot. Why? Because they think before they act or speak. An extrovert acts and speaks before thinking. An introvert will always think about the consequences of his speech or action before taking them. They like people, but they hardly make friends, which may appear to mean that they don't like people. They do like people, but they are not in haste to make friends.

Fact #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.
This is true. There is no point trying to make introverts who they are not. They don't actually like going out in public. Introverts like indoor lifestyle. They don't like too much exposure and publicity. They don't like ovation. They really are not public people, but this does not make them less humans. In fact, it's there strength. I remember my younger brother who is an introvert. During his secondary school days, this guy reads his chemistry and physics books on Christmas day. He mates will be out enjoying xmas season, this guy will be at home solving Further Maths. I mean, it's an impossibility for me to do that. I don't say introverts don't go out and don't enjoy live. The issue is that if you give indoor and outdoor to an introvert to choose, he will choose the former.

Fact #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.
That's true sir. They hate noise and jamborees. Because they are thinkers, they usually want to be alone. You can bore and introvert down without your chattering.

Fact #7 – Introverts are not weird.
They behave the way they behave because they were wired to be like that. It's an extrovert that appears to be weird. Whereas an introvert thinks a lot, he can find it difficult charting a new way for himself and people under him. That is why, they normally don't seen as leadership materials. Because they may end up thinking and thinking and yet no action will be taken when needed.

Fact #8 – Introverts are not aloof nerds.
I agree with you.

Facts #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Yes, they usually prefer to relax and have fun at home. But to go to public places, run around in a romantic way at a beach, an introvert may not be part of it.

Fact #10 – Introverts can fix themselves
Yes, they can fix themselves. But there is no point trying to become extroverts because extroverts have there own weaknesses. An introvert should try to build on his strength and overcome his weaknesses. This is what Tim Lahaye called Spirit-controlled temperament. Both introverts and extroverts are needed for the world to keep going round.

I am an extrovert, but my fiancee is an introvert. I have learned a lot from her strength, and I have also experienced the pain of enduring her weaknesses. She has seen me severally where I proved to her that I can be the leader she can trust her life with, but she has also seen my awful attitude of arrogance. In both cases, we are learning each other everyday and trusting God that when we finally marry and come together, we will keep building on our strength and overcoming our weaknesses.

maclatunji: Top ten myths about introverts

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.

Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.

Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.

Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.

Myth #4 – Introverts don’t like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.

Myth #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.

Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.

Myth #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.

Myth #7 – Introverts are weird.

Introverts are often individualists. They don’t follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don’t make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.

Myth #8 – Introverts are aloof nerds.

Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.

Myth #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.

Myth #10 – Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.
Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.

This list was inspired by the book The Introvert Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extrovert World by Marti Laney.
