I drive a Peugeot 206. When petrol was N145, 8k fuel fills its tank from empty to full and it goes to akure from Lagos and back

Maybe your car transmission is faulty hence increasing fuel consumption and you're now thinking that's the normal thing

He can hammer 280. But NDA is not about ur score its about having better score than the rest. 50 people in a state can score 90s and one have 91. The one will 91 will be picked does that mean those with 90 failed? And their family will always be like NDA failed my son etc whereas someone who was picked just used one slim mark to pass me by. Thats the way it works and I do tell people just make 180 in jamb but in that NDA cram the compendium and make sure u blast it. A friend of mine used to be efikko. All this guru who will even correct teachers. We both sat for NDA exam the 4th time I tried. He had 302 in jamb and I had 189. But I had all the compendium on my brain. Well afsb list came out and I was topping my state in my faculty that year. Till today my friend won't believe I didnt know anyone to make that list coz he believed he was way pass me academically

Everyone as a time. Sure some as father's to push for them but for those who don't have n influential father or uncle, its bout u working hard. You see that NDA compendium? Any intending cadet who can lay his hands on it mater it intoto will make Afsb list. Thats the bitter truth. During my time, I took form October by December I hv finished the compendium 3-4 times. By the following year April when the exam was scheduled, once u ask me a question from the compendium, I can tell u all the years the question surfaced and gv u the answer offhand. That God by saying that little act was my dash away that year....


MY point is this, not everyone is born with a silver spoon but for those who aint having influential folks if you can pay the price with ur time, sleep etc and go that extra mile my dear academy is not just sure its over sure. And academy is merit to a good degree

My advice to upcoming Nigerians that wanna become military officers, just abandon that dream and move on with your life. I know a boy who applied NDA 5 times, he eventually lost interest in any other thing.

So coz the boys dream was shattered 5 times means everyone is designed to be that way. Well for that one boy u know I know as many as 20 coursemates and seniors of mine who at all all cost made it through. Wont expantiate. And for every time I get to speak to intending cadets here I dnt act the fact that it was the 4th time i tried NDA that I got it. An most officers and cadets you see in that academy didn't get it the first 2nd r even third time. Some even went to rewrite another Waec just to pursue that dream and truth is they achieved it later on.

Read this stuff yesterday night.... well I have two experience of something related. One was when I was younger. I shud be between 13-14 years then or so. There was this police man who was very close to my family as a matter of fact, I loved him like an uncle his name was Wale. A day before his death he came over to my place and my mum was like wale am broke and the guy gave my mum some money. This man too was used to spoiling me since I am the only boy in my family and that day he took me out to rent some nice home video (mount Zion) in a video center and he even bought my favourite sweet for me. My mums last conversation with him was Wale when will u stop this heavy drinking and smoking and settle down for once. He was like aunty mi I will stop soonest. (We weren't blood related but we were from the same state and we met somewhere far from our state). Day after was a Sunday, my mum siblings and myself went to church and that morning uncle wale called my mum that his going to the naming of another police man son, which my mum begged him not to drink. He spoke with me on phone and promised to buy me a bicycle when he comes. After service that day we saw a police van sped pass with loud siren wailing and everyone was like wat is happening. We thought it was an emergency self, so my mum tried uncle wales line which never connected. Few minutes later one of uncle wales friend Uncle tunde called my mum and was like did u see the police van that pass, wale had a gruesome accident while coming from the naming nd his in coma + dead drunk. My mum been a nurse knew they can't attend to a drunk person so she was like perhaps if she goes after them she can use her power as the matron then to do something. Na so mumcee start dey pursue the van go the hospital. She met the doctor and the man was like the accident was too gruesome so he has referred them. I was with my mum and I was crying since the uncle wale was so part of me. The police van already left Iseyin for Oyo and my mum started going after them atleast to administer something. Well by the time she will get there my Darling uncle already gave up the ghost. I was in hot tears and nearly run into depression after he died. He left a son with a gf. A son he wasn't responsible for and he left his parents who we didn't even know there whereabout. That night I started dreaming of uncle wale. And I used to cry in my sleep.

In my dreams then we used to seat together and chat and he used to talk to me like its real. He will tell me to make sure I make mummy happy etc and check on my aburo (his son). And as a boy then I will just smile and say yes sir. The day he was buried, that night i had a mad dream. Uncle wale was crying and telling me he does not want to go but he have to go. I was crying and pulling him back telling him not to go or he should take me along. He was just like Bryan NO. Go and meet mum. The background of this dream happened in a borehole side I kept crying so hard that he was wailing too in the dream. He made me promise to take care of my aburo and he was like we won't see again. Well I cried to life back and tears were all over me when I woke up. I narrated my dreams to my mum and she started praying with me. Since then I never got to see uncle wale again.

Seriously abstinence is the key. I learnt the bad way some years back. Was 20 then nd I just joined a particular uniform job through it's school which some ladies famz. I was in my first year and all. And after the first 3 initial month before going on pass I Had my phone and facebook flooding with messages from folks I know nd dnt even know, mostly ladies etc (I guess i took note of that more.)


So I was tempted nd I decided to grab some good time. Well, met the lady and had some good time. She even made me profess love for her during the act. After the whole drama I called some of my coursemates that I just finished grazing and I still enjoyed more of this lady like 4-5 times within 1 week plus break interval since I banged 4 days medical restriction. Fast forward, i started experiencing pain while urinating then and due to 2nd quarter palava I didnt take things serious las las puss dey show for my JT early morning when I check and I realise I don blow ofe. Thats how I called a uncle who was a doc and am like egbon see see ooo he was like u went in raw and I answered couple of times. He advised me to go for HIV screening and also he advised some drugs Azithromycin doxycycline and one other etc. Well the fear of knowing I have STD was great enough but imagining m HIV positive killed my spirit totally. Infact they say a coward dies a thousand times before his death mine was A million times. How I go face my mum and siblings and also my community who have great hope in me. Las las sha I sneaked out after telling my room mate of blessed memory who was killed in the north east some week back xup. He called his civilian arty man who took me to n hospital around Narayi side and I ran the HIV test. Oboy I was sweating profusely and I was making covenant say if God cancel my name I will allow grazing till marriage. Result came out after hours. I tested negative though I was told to come back for more test after a month, and after 4 days of taking the drugs the whole puss stopped and I was healthy. Then I knew the stress is not even worth it. I vowed to myself and not to God this time that I will abstain till I cross sword las las nd everything that will tempt me I put at arms length like relationships etc. Its been years now and I can say all over that abstaining is the key
