I even know of a coursemate who got an EOD for 450k last year November. Car is almost in perfect shape.

I know people who bought a car of 450k and are really enjoying it today. There is always a start and do you know how long it took the op to safe the present 500k. Bi owo eku ba she to lo ma fi in yun ori. Let him start from that. Some days he can buy a car of 15m without blinking.

I am actually planning to buy my first car as my family is growing big and moving from point A to B is becoming stressful for us, hence I decided to get a very good & sharp Nigerian used car with a budget of 500K max.

I want a car that is very durable, reliable, fuel efficient, cheap and accessible parts, meanwhile I don't want Toyota or Honda as they are too common on Nigerian roads & I also believe they re not the only best car options we can get. Though I am looking at Nissan Almera 2001, Nissan primera 2000 to 2002, VW Golf 3 and Mazda cars from 1999 to 2002 models.

Please kindly help me as I need your car expertise to decide which car to go for ASAP.

Op with your budget I will advise you stick to a better known devil talking of Toyota and Honda. Am not a fan of the two and I drive an audi and Benz. But my advise, start with the Toyota or Honda. I believe you will get a very good End of discussion for that price.

My point is in the article they were like the soldiers took their rifles and shot at the unarmed civilians and am like it doesn't sound sensible coz no soldier is allowed to go out with rifle unless u r on duty and duly signed from the armoury. And when u r on duty, u are to remain in your duty post till its over. About the back up, its a normal thing

I just spoke about signing rifle from the armoury. If you ain't on duty you can't sign out a rifle and even if you are on duty and sign out a rifle, you must not leave ur duty post till your duty is over

Backup is different when u radio the nearest Road block or check point for distress its a different thing

Mine was when I was younger. Class 4 boy or so. I was sick and since my mum happened to be a nurse I dnt get treated by two people than my mum even when we weren't sick, she will just tell us we've been opened to mosquito bite and bingo. Chloroquine injection will do the trick. talk more of when one of us was sick. that goes by me saying we hardly fall sick . I was in a military secondary school and feeling so sick. And I hated MRS since it makes you weak and lost it, so I waited till break. And I do stay with my mums friend who happened to be a nurse and work in shika zaria people go sabi am. Since my family was in south west and I school in zaria. my mum called her friend who happened to be a matron. They had conversations and next thing she came to pick me from school after we collect pass and drove me to her house. She had this daughter I was crushing on and they always tease me am the girls hubby which I do like in a way . Fast forward, na so she drive me go hospital and we see doctor. Bla bla bla I went for test and 2 hours later, doctor said some stuffs to her. Oboy I sha see the woman dey look me somehow and when we got home she wasnt so opened to me. Well like an hour later my mum called and was like I have STD. I dnt even know what STD means. The woman's hubby na pastor and a man I respect na so him call me where this my crush dey oo. Dey ask me question about my sex life. The girl dey look up etc. I sha was shocked coz I dnt even have any fantasy about sex at that age infact I never got to have sex till of recent (20s) and that's the first and last time since its not worth it to me. I told the man I dnt know what his talking about and am just feeling very sick and weak. Well he told me my diagnosis came out as STD and I really disappointed my mum and everyone. I just start dey shiver. The man was like he knows what it feels like to be in the military and he knows I will mix with diff kids. Well since I maintained my innocence mum came over 2 days later and her friend was like we should try a private hospital etc and see the depth of the STD. Na so we go all the way to kaduna from zaria enter one private hospital. I came out negative and tested high to typhoid and a serious case of malaria parasite. Infact the doctor advised I be placed under serious antibiotics drip asap.

Mum hugged me and apologised for doubting my innocence and mums friend took the test back to shika to show that dicyir that misdiagnosed me. It was really embarrassing than I could write.

On this job, I may not achieve the best standards that'll win titles but I know that the outcome won't be worst than the present condition. The only thing I am watching out for is the budget.

I have been reading and many things worry me about the job. As much as I want the result to be impressive, I only want what is acceptable.

Oh, I remember. I was supposed to fix my neighbors child bicycle chain this evening.

@ op, Audi is generally a nice car but continously enjoying the ride in Nigeria depends on regular service, original parts and experience of your mechanic. In my own case I have an Audi A6 manual gearbox, year 2005 and only one mechanic do the service of my car in Nigeria. The guy is good in fixing German cars, more-so he prefers you get original parts before he work on your machine.

In terms of fuel consumption, I drive on full thanks from Lagos to Agbor before I think of topping up my tank again. Though I used my Audi A6 for three years in Germany before shipping it to Nigeria as my back up car and I never for a minute regretted it, as it never developed fault nor stopped on the road both home and abroad.
I don't know about S8 but I believe you have a fair understanding of Audi cars through the previous one you used.

You like an S8 go for it ... Sir if you can afford it and some extra cash for servicing please go for it. Just pray to be lucky enough to buy a good car with less problem. I have seen people who bought Japanese cars and regretted it, same applies to everyone out there. Just weigh up your options in terms of mechanic, original parts and accessories plus your source of income... Good luck sir.

Talking of your mechanic sir, I intend restoring the A4 back to default and perhaps having a trustee and experienced hand who knows what is doing. Once you get a value for what you spend, I believe that's all that matters. Spoke to deltel sef, no S8 on auction at the moment nd just one on copart and one on iaai

Both Audi's are "in your face". There is no way your circle will mistake the A4 for s6 or s8.

Audi's are essentially Volkswagen's. Same issues.
If you found the A4 a bit of a challenge to maintain, the S8 will dig a hole for you.

I can't advise you on any car to choose. Buy what you like. Since you already have a fairly capable hand who has cut his teeth on the a4, the s8 shouldn't be too difficult for him to maintain as well but you will be much more patient for jobs to be performed on the s8 while you use the a4 as your backup car.

Its not about poor people. Most people dnt count Audi as cars and won't even know what is in ur hood or how much it cost. You can say the same about Toyota products which can easily be guessed talking of the price.


and about the pocket, i have resolved to getting a very high tech Car scanner so once I see any issue surface, I scan and know xup. That way I can know what am spending on not some guess work and blind believing.
