We are deceiving ourselves thinking we are going to school in Nigeria. If we really want to offer STEM courses, they are very expensive because they often involve practical, experiment and research.

We cannot afford it in Nigeria; that's why we focus on theories, outdated practical, no research and no inventions. Imagine asking a Nigerian student to pay £10k (#20 million) per annum in tuition fees. That's the cheapest tuition fee you can get in the UK. Na money dem dey use cook beta soup; quality education isn't cheap.

This is why they overglorify federal government that FG has subsidized education at tertiary institution of learning - Federal schools.
Only to learn theory and what you learnt is not really relevant to the world of today.

Listened to a few seconds of the video and I can tell she's an IDIIIOT with bad intentions.

First of all, 99% of the People who travel abroad do NOT do it to make money. So the premise of her NONSENSE argument is flawed.

The amount of money that is needed to complete the process of emigration in Nigeria is MIND-BOGGLING! The idea that it's ONLY poor people looking for money that choose to travel to UK, Europe, USA, Canada, etc is just plain DUMB!

It's even dumber when you consider the fact that a 40-year old man is UNLIKELY to receive external support to finance his plans.

People who travel do it to get AWAY from the economic quagmire, political instability, infrastructural collapse and the general LAWLESSNESS that is the hallmark of the Nigerian society.

Put simply, people travel out to get a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

Anyone who thinks people are fleeing Nigeria to make money is just being DELIBERATELY obtuse.

She's advocating for staying in Nigeria and "looking for money in dirty places". She doesn't realize that all the money in Nigeria would make no difference if you fall sick and the hospitals do NOT have ordinary X-ray machine to help with the diagnosis.

For those reading this:

If it enters your body to leave Nigeria and you can afford it, LEAVE! Even if you are 99 years old, LEAVE!

So apt that there's hardly anything to add.

Like they always say that Nigerians don't ask for too much.... They just want to have the basic amenities, the good road, the 4G that's actually 4G, the security of life, life expectancy that's actually worth one, then the dividends of actually paying taxes... Are these too much to ask? Of course, they are too much to ask in a country where political office holders use state money to finance their lifestyle, and horde stolen wealth for 4th and more generations and never get to resign voluntarily from office when accused of misappropriation of public funds.
Anyone who has the chance to escape such decadence should do without looking back...

You are partly right,
Laws of every land has a little grey area or where it can be exploited and this is why constitution is reviewed and amended over time, the reason why you can't exonerate Akpabio, Tinubu or thieving politicians is because they use the frailties in Constitution to rob people silly.
They are not without fault.

For instance, we keep hearing that constitution doesn't make provision for the office of the first lady, but why do they keep allocating heavy budgets for those offices at the state levels for instance? Because they know that money for some projects can be converted or even allocated to it, added to the budget straight up, they know that the judiciary is as weak as water, no one can do anything about it.

As good as this sounds, the recruitment procedure must be given due diligence, state police must not be treated the same way some states have been treating state vigilante agencies where cultists loyal to the ruling party are the personnel or workforce , protecting the people and properties should be the central theme across board, not cult-wars .
